As the chao sings her song things happen, the sun glows brighter and flowers, and trees start growing, the wind stills and everything is peaceful for a few minutes.

Ali took the basket and took out another sandwich, "man, thought i was full for a moment" she said silently. Richard whistled "so the tornado's Sonic's huh?" he asked "wow, you guys must've been friends for a long time" Ali looked over at Cosmo a little worried after she remembered that they were at the beach "you sure you don't mind the salt water?" she asked

Wow, he thought, Chao's songs are kinda weird. Lets hope she hands over the third shard to us.

Just as Shade finished she hands the shard over no questions asked, Shade was now in complete tears though.
"It doesn't bother me Ali, we like all water." Cosmo said to her.

He took the shard and said "Thank you. Any idea where another shard might be my friend?" Don't worry Shade, he thought, I didn't like seeing you like that either.

"Tails right, the sun's already beginning to set" Richard said as he looked at the sun which has now met the ocean. Ali looked over as well and was in awe "wow...it's so beautiful" she said till she yawn and looked at her dad who was looking at her now and smiled
