The stone barrier had done its job; the shattered shards of stone, some heated to glass, still hovered around him. Thrusting his limbs outward, he sent a shock wave of mixed energy, sending the shards flying to all the clones.

Xiaeriene dodged the glass with ease. Five of her clones were caught in the attack and vanished one by one, until the large obese one was left. It faded away to reveal the real Xiaeriene. She spoke to Koori as she charged up, unphased by her comment "Eh, that's cool, Kriss is safe now, you can distract that b***h over there then"
Medium snarled as the two escaped her grasp "Well, if that is how it's going to be, then fine! You won't be leaving this place alive anyway, your talk of friendship is laughable, friends are for weaklings like you, and your concern for them will only result in your quick demise!" She turned to the others "Well, I guess it looks like I am going to get to play with you ladies, do be good girls and keep me entertained for a while!" She sent a charged blast toward Koori, then appeared right behind her, aiming a set of kicks at her

The decoy melted away as the energy ball passed through it. Koori's hands protruded from Medium's shadow grasping her ankles and fully pulling her down into the shadow. "Welcome to my world." Koori's voice rang out from no where. They seemed to be floating in the center of a massively vast, spinning, multi-layered sphere. Every inch opened up to a shadow in all the realms and worlds of the infinitely vast universe. Each a portal with real time imagery. A second later they randomly shifted in all directions. Small cloud like images floated around at random. A hazardous obstacle for any battlefield as even a small touch would suck an untrained victim to their unsuspecting demise. It would look like a vast stained glass sphere with billions of panes. After a moment, the deafening silence gave way to sounds of of everything going on in the shadows. The surrealism and mind numbing sounds could drive even the most focus mind insane. Even as a master of this art, it was still unnerving to Koori. Pin pointing any single shadow was next to impossible for untrained.

Medium laughed "This is your 'Special Ability'? You underestimate me, you petty pathetic human. You are looking at the astral embodiment of shadows itself. But, I at least can do this!" She emitted a golden light that engulfed her and expanded, absorbing everything into it's pure astral power. She reappeared instantly back int he same spot in the temple, and turned her attention to Shizue, knowing her counter would take a few seconds for Koori to escape. "Well, your little friend seems to have a bad habit of underestimating her opponent, I hope you are no foolish as to make the same mistake"
Xiaeriene turned suddenly as she watched what happened, and she turned her gaze to Medium, keeping a close eye on Kyros "What have you done with Koori? Your fight is with me, leave her alone or I'll have to hurt you, even if you are my cousin!"
Uriel sensed Medium's aura as the arrived in the Water Kingdom, and turned to Chihaya "Sir, it is time, Medium has reached her full grip over the girl, and her powers. If she is not taken care of within the next few minutes, the girl's soul will be lost forever and she will be unstoppable!"
Chihaya nodded, and stepped through a portal to the school.

"Xiaerene shut your trap, your fight is with that behemoth." Holding her blades ready, she turned an eye to Shizue. "It'll be interesting to see you in action." Then returned full focus to Medium; her swords now glowing with energy.

Kyros charged at Xiaerene like a rhyno, going for a massive uppercut which would be followed with a straight punch to her gut.

Hikaru stepped out of the portal and observed the battle from afar. She waited patiently as Auska attacked in an advanced form. The medium seemed to be more powerful than before as well. Hikau waited until one of them got tired.

The second Medium was out Koori unleashed her first real attack. She had left her shadow realm a second after pulling Medium in leaving behind a clone of herself. She was behind Medium in the process driving an elbow down onto the back of her head. Shizue dropped into her fighting stance. He elbows were in, over her abdomen arms extended forward. Her hands were flattened out, fingers clamped together, as though she was holding a large ball. Her left leg was forward. Her stance was pigeon toed. Every muscled in her body was flexed and ready for taking blows.

Xiaeriene smiled to Asuka "Yes, you are right, I shouldn't let down my guard!" She said it just as Kyros's attack hit her, making the illusion vanish, as the other five appeared behind her. "Too slow!" The grossy tall Xiaeriene appeared behind him, whacking him with her fully charged staff. She circled him, shifting her position among the illusions once again.
Medium smirked as Koori's elbow fell through an illusion of her, which sank down into the shadow, as the real Medium appeared next to Hikaru "You continuously fail to realize what you are up against. I have full control over Xiaedessa's powers, I can see every move you make before it happens. So I will always be one step ahead of you" She turned her gaze to Hikaru "Ah, so the goody gumdrop is here to play with me once more! How cute, and here I thought you had smartened up. Face it, sweet pea, your Xiaedessa is mine now, in a matter of moments, she will be gone and even Kyros will be nothing compared to my power!" She appeared behind Hikaru, rushing in for a sideways slash witht he black blade
Chihaya approached Shizue, as he stepped back from the battle, and looked down at her with interest "And might I inquire as to why you and iss Kagurazaka are here trying to join a battle that you were never meant to be a part of? Not to mention, I'd like to hear your explanations as to why you are not in class" He turned to glance at Xiaeriene, then to Koori "Though I already know her reasons"

Hikaru's eyes flashed and a barrier formed instantly, one that blasted the Medium back. Knowing that the same trick wouldn't work again, she pulsed with light and threw a blinding orb at the fiend. She rushed into an attack directly behind it. While she did, she used an old favorite. Thorny vines sprung up and reached for the Medium from behind. "She belongs to no one." She said as she stapped out with the dagger in her hand.

Medium growled as she was caught in the hold, but laughed as the dagger pierced her chest. She knew what the girl was going for, and she attempted to break the girls concentration, which would cause her to fail and the spell would fail "You pathetic child, do you really think your cheap little spell will work? I have the power of seeing ahead, and I can forsee your demise brought about by your own folly!" The black blade appeared behind Hikaru and stabbed her in the back of her left shoulder. She hoped that would be enough to cause Hikaru to falter and fail. Then she would simply take on a new host, and Xiaeriene was her new target

Hikaru smiled as the dagger poofed away to reveal its true form. It was the pick. Hikaru herself puffed out as well, but ten more of her appeared around the medium. One was consentraiting on the containment field as another dropped the cloaking aura from the field and the copies. One of the copies stepped up. "Your arrogance has brought about your fall demon. In the name of my family and all that is good, I will now end you."
She cast the disintigration spell just as the light flashed on the end of the pick.

Medium sneered, as the blade began to wrench into Hikaru's arm, but then a gentle light poured from it, as it disintegrated, leaving nothing more than a horrid scar across the back of Hikaru's shoulder. The darkness in her eyes vanished, and the aura was sucked into the pick, which melted away into nothingness, with a large shriek as the demon sword medium was destroyed completely. Xiaedessa suddenly came back, her vision swimming, and she gazed at Hikaru "Hika..." she fell forward, passing out as her life force began to fade quickly, due to the spell.

"Even if not a friend, an ally is still an ally and should be treated as such. If you're not here to fight, then leave." She dropped her stance and pushed passed him then took off at a run toward Kyros. She was going to try and blow out his one of his knee caps with a momentum filled knife kick.
