Axel moves to him, and plants a hand on either shoulder. "Look, it will be fine, you will get over it, find someone new, ask Drako, Helena was the same way. He eventually found Scarlet and they married, and from what I hear they have a child. The cosmos has its way of balancing things." He moves to Helan and sighs. "Go on, I will meet with this Kahlan, Helena will stay here to hold the fort, or if she wants, she can go with you and Jamie, and Vincent, you have troops back in Oblivion you need geared for what is coming. Lets get this thing going."

Vincent smiles. "War is on the horizon, I can feel it, most of Oblivion can feel it, so can Heaven, I bet your second in command in Purge is feeling it too, Drako, you need to sense the horizon like you used to." He sighs. "I am in charge of a small battalion in whatever comes, my superiors have me more dealing with the group than my troops, but with things okay here, I should go back and train them."

Vincent nods, and leaves in a portal. "I guess I will.." Axel starts fir the door, and pauses for Jairn. "Lets go." He steps through the wreackage and starts for the stairs.

A fit of laughing bursts from Axel, and he recovers wiping a tear from his eye. "I am on a higher plane is all, the only reason I can even take visible, let alone solid, form is because of humans experimenting on me with technology from my old manor..." He lets Drako wonder about the curse, for he himself had no idea. "Honestly Drako, things are going to be morbid for a couple years... It is repeating, it always does..." He falls silent for the remainder of the trip.

Suddenly stopping, Axel greets the angel. "Hello Jamie, they are all yours...." He grumbles. She smiles. "I will talk to you later, a good ol' reflection spell, good enough?" She nods. "By you two, have fun." He walks off.

"Hi!" Jamie pipes, and starts for the forest. "I have an idea where he is, but it will take some water to get there..." Now, why was Axel so eager to part from these two?

I see why. She whips around, and then kicks Jairn in the gut. "Shut up you two." She smiles and turns back around, continuing on. "And nice to... Hear you again Drako. Now, lets rescue my uncle, and your... foster nephew?"

She thinks on it. "Yeah, maybe an in-law. And as for your question, no, I have to do killing for a living, kinda comes with being a battle angel. I just get to do the ordering, call us, Heaven's Mercenaries.. Oooh, I like that." She stops next to a pretty large lake. "I have no clue, thats why I am going to use this to make a portal that will lead us to whatever dimension he is in, and if it is this one, which I am halfway sure it isn't, we will die by having our souls forcefully ripped from our bodies, and then our bodies being spread throughout the cosmos." She smiles, and holds back some laughter. "Just kidding, if he is still here on Earth, we will just be popped back onto land." Her face grows serious. "Look, Jairn... The second the portal closes, Kahlan will be wiped from your memory. Remember her well now, bask in it, and then we can go." Her usual smile appears, hinted by a dark thought after which Jacques is to blame.

She throws him in. "Go on." He breaks the water's surface. She does the same, and they land in a world conquered by the evil side of darkness. the sun being that of a constant eclipse, and the land being that of a dark, almost black, but still light gray. "We are here." She looks back at the water in which they came. The brightness fades, revealing a small pool of water. "Its as close as we get, come on."
