'Great. ******** walking.' Evijan stepped through a newly opened portal, to instantaneously arrive again at the laundrette.

"Wait for me!" Goosie called, just managing to slip through before the portal closed. Out on the other side, she gave Evijan a sheepish look before turning to her quieted laundry machine and opening it to pull the wet clothes out. "I'll just hang them up back at the facility," She offered, not feeling like staying any longer.

'Move it then,' Evijan said, as she opened a second portal, back to the facility.

Goosie hurried into the portal, oblivious to the very confused looks the other people in the room were giving them as she disappeared with Bristan's clothes in tow.

Deciding the mess with the curious bystanders, Evijan blasted a breath of flame at them, before disappearing into the portal with a mean cackle.

A large DRK portal opened up on the outskirts of the woods and deposited the two blondes on the ground. Goosie landed on her side with an 'oof!' <********!" Temple hit the ground heavily and groaned. A moment passed before either of them stirred or spoke. Finally Temple pushed himself up into a sitting position and rubbed his many aches and pains. "You couldn't have ******** a portal to the ground?" He demanded moodily. "I-it's not always very precise..." Goosie justified as she, too, sat up, frowning at Temple and dusting off her hoodie. "Whatever. Don't ********' do that again," Temple warned as he pushed himself to his feet and stretched a bit, "Where the hell did you bring us?" "Outside, I assume you know the way to Gambino?" Goosie asked coolly as she stood as well, rubbing her side and hoping she might convince him to go home. Even if that were dangerous, at this point, the last thing any of them needed was another antagonist in their lives. "What the hell makes you think I'm going anywhere?" Temple demanded, putting a hand to his head and rolling his eyes.

"Did you even care about science before this?" Goosie asked him bluntly, hoping to point out how silly it was to stay. "Look Chloe, I get it, you like these people, what the ******** ever. You do whatever the hell you need to do and I'll do whatever the hell I need to do." He said, deciding to drop any pretense and talk straight with the fellow DRK being. He turned around to face her. "You can't hurt anyone! I won't let you do that!" She insisted, frustrated. "Oh shut the ******** up, god you're whiny now, it was a joke." Temple told her. "Do I need to ********' remind you of what those are?" "...Just stop picking fights with people. You don't even know what you're doing, even you should be able to like figure out that this is um, different from Gambino. I-if you start something here then you'll get yourself hurt or killed!"
She was frustrated with his constant snarkiness, but even moreso with how pointless it all seemed to her. What was he getting out of being DRK or staying here? "I'm shaking." He said sarcastically, "Whatever. Seeya Chloe." He opened a portal and walked through, leaving Goosie standing on her own. After a moment of tense frustration, the girl sighed in exasperation and turned, opening a portal of her own and disappearing into it.

A DRK portal opened up in Gambino. It was a quiet, warm night, and Goosie stepped out into the alley with ease. She had a few hours to kill and had already collected her backpack and changed...she'd head to Barton soon. She stopped when she reached the sidewalk, taking a hesitant look around before pulling her hood up. Then she headed down the street, looking up at the sky and catching glimpses of stars through her messy blonde bangs. It all suddenly felt so much more familiar, being back there...bits of memories surfacing with each passing street and building. Home wasn't far away...

She stopped at the beginning of another block, lightly touching the stop sign she'd often kicked and leaned on in her younger years. The blonde turned and peered down a nice residential street, the entire neighborhood in full bloom this time of year. Not sure whether to smile or let that sinking feeling in her heart overcome her, Goosie blinked and stared ahead numbly instead. Finally she dropped her arm, adjusting her hood to make sure her face was partially obscured before she started ahead into the shadows the trees cast.

Goosie finally came to a stop outside of a house she knew all too well. It was a pale but warm yellow color (though that was tough to see at this time of night), attached and two stories tall. A small lawn was fenced off on either side by light brick walls that barely came up to her thigh, as well a metal gate which, she guessed, someone had carelessly left open. Again. It was strangely normal being here with memories intact. It had felt empty being here the last time, before she knew everything... She took a few steps back, looking up at the windows. No lights on at this time...big surprise there. Especially since one of them was hers. She wondered idly if Erica had moved out yet as she stared up at her former home. She also wondered if they hated her for leaving, and maybe just being a lousy daughter and sister in general. A slight breeze picked up, jostling the leaves noisily up above and bathing the street in the relaxing sound they made.

She dropped her gaze again, staring ahead at the door while letting her mind wander. Was Brian finally married? How were her parents doing? Had Allison settled down with anyone? She'd always thought her sister was suited to meeting some artistic sailor guy who'd whisk her off on sailing adventures all over Gaia's seas... Goosie bowed her head. Thinking about this almost made her forget that she wasn't really a part of their world anymore. Dragging them into any of it was out of the question, she knew that. Visiting would only lead to them wanting to understand something she couldn't explain...so she wasn't going to do that either. Lowering her eyelids, she gazed at the ground with a sinking heart. Well, it had been nice to see this place again, at least...

Taking several steps forward, Goosie reached out and put her hand on the right-hand brick wall, closing her eyes for a moment and remaining still. She opened them again, slowly lifting her gaze before withdrawing her hand. Then, after taking a quick look around, Goosie discreetly opened a portal behind herself and stepped backwards into it. The portal closed, leaving the quiet street empty once more.

Asphyxia stirred and finally awoke. The first thing she did was clasp her hands to her head, and moaned loudly.

Are you alright, Phyx? *He waved a hand slowly in front of her face and the solid LGHT stone that floated about him hovered over her*You were hit pretty hard back there.
