Kyrenx Leave it to Cormini to give us a whole 3-5 paragraphs to read about what he thinks. sweatdrop It was a beautiful read and you know it. blaugh I'm gonna quote my rant to Luther over MSN now, since we're all agreeing here, earlier would have been a terrible, terrible time even though I very much wanted to nonetheless. Quote: Soren says: I love how he's saying she might not have had lag and that he didn't have lag. Because when it lags everyone feels it. It was definitely there. And it was kinda bad, certainly bad enough to screw with timing. And running away, keeping your cool, yeah that's legit strategy, but to constantly do it the entire match, well. I don't really mind it on some stages, but that's one reason why certain stages get banned, because people can just turtle the entire match. And that's what she does. You can tell she wasn't interested in "playing," she just wanted to run away and crouch/taunt spam. When it came time to defend herself she'd just throw out random attacks or charge up an extremely obvious Rollout from across the entire stage away. That's not "skill", that's just praying your attack actually hits somebody. <_< I'm also going to note that while I rant about this, it really didn't bother me all that much while we were having 4 player matches. What got me the most is after Luther dropped, I decided to stay in with her and Shade. Playing with Shade was actually rather enjoyable, but the ridiculous part was that he decided, for whatever reason, to just take her side and gang up on me. (a gang-up in lag, oh lord) We would be fighting and when a good item would appear (Pokeballs and Smash Balls were appearing a lot, as were bumpers and bombs now that I think about it), she would run over grab it, blah blah. It wasn't really that big a deal, I like being put into ridiculous odds sometimes, I can be a bit of a masochistic gamer. But when I did get KO'd they would both run to opposite sides of the stage and taunt/crouch spam. That, to me, is just terrible, terrible sportsmanship. You're...going to gang up on someone (in lag too, mind you,) and then taunt spam after you KO them like what you did was really something incredible? Truly?

I love how this topic has 81 "Yeah!" votes but only 30 listed friend codes.
Where is everybody? C'mon you silly voters.

Wow, looks like quite a lot went on last night. >_> I'm kind of disappointed that I missed out on it.
After reading all of this drama with this "Pinki" character, it makes me wonder what you guys think of me and my Jigglypuff. sweatdrop I have to admit that I spam Rollout and Pound quite often, but I don't always run away from the fray.

Yeah it was alot of fun. I'll admit I'm not totally that great, but I had fun. I kinda went looking around seeing what charater can I have the most fun with. Snake is what I ended up sticking with out of those. I was having fun trying to get you guys with Snake's equipment. It was fun. It was like battling my cousin. I hope he comes over next month. If he does I'll see if he can battle you guys.
Yeah Jake is my brother. Unforunatly he got mad cause he lost. -sighs- I would think he would realize winning isn't everything. Now I think he won't even face me because he said I'm 'too easy'. I almost wanted to slap him when he said that. I would have hoped he would learn this at the age he is.

@ Nezu - That doesn't sound any worse than Corm running around as the 'puff. But yes, last night, FNB was booming for some unknown reason.
@ Mel - I was wondering why you selection of characters ended up sticking with Snake. I honestly thought you did pretty good with Wolf, though my Link can be a beast when I get the ball rolling, so it was just a bad match-up. Your bro did pretty good, but I'm surprised how any of us survived that chaos. But hey, if he really feels that cheated in the match, I'll gladly take him on in a 1v1. pirate

*sigh* I hate how me and Psychic tried to end the argument there... but it didn't. This is the last thing I'll say on the subject just because I want Corm to understand this. The only time I'll hide and spam is in a free for all with Wario. When I do that, I never expect to win. My soul goal is to just cause mischief with the Wario Bike. And I'll say this again, I am 100% positive and being 100% honest when I say... I-Had-No-Lag I'm sorry that you did, and that it messed the others up, but I had no lag. So in conclusion, No I don't "rely on such a crutch just to get me to win a match in a video game" If I'm Wario, then basically it means I could care less about the outcome of the match.
On a separate note, Corm. I loved Brawling with you. I feel I should ask, are you new to Jigglypuff? o.o; And I'm sure I would have done a tad better against your Gameandwatch, if it wasn't for the fact that this argument was taking up most of my attention ^^;
Just throwing this out there for Akiza to hear, since Pinki was his friend...but, Does she even have a Gaia Account? o.o;

Mel - Like Kyrenx said, if the guy is that confident with his skills, why doesn't he put them to a real test? I'll gladly take him 1-on-1 as well.

Hmm.. where to begin with all the responses... I feel better now that I had at least good 8 hours of sleep.
@Heath: I agree with you full heatedly. At times when I am put against ridiculous odds, I tend not to get mad at first. Heck, I find them somewhat entertaining for mostly being an interesting challenge. But after a while, the experience becomes really stale.
Not to mention, I concur with your belief when your game lags, everyone else's does. Heck, I have tested this out with my GF, cousins and nephews game. So when it happens in game, it is wide spread. I believe it has to do with the strained connection between both participant's wii's and their Internet connections as well as connecting with one another. With that being said, there is no way that if one lags, another cannot.
One last note friend, I also find it quite humorous with all the 81 votes as well. And one jerk had to vote that idea was bad. Very funny, but very jerkish in its own way just because it ruins the nice streak we had going.
@Demented Scumrat: I am adding you right now friend. I look forward to battling you online sometime soon.
@Nezu: It was grand last night. I was quite surprised by the turn out myself.
To comment on your previous statement concerning what we think of you, I personally like battling with you. Of course you spam a little but its not grossly annoying as well as you are not blatantly running away from battle just to both wait for your opponents to kill one another and camp under a certain location just to hide from others to only strike when no ones expecting it. That is really annoying to deal with. The only time I can think of when I got frustrated battling you was when I wasn't fighting you per say, but your friends, who constantly ganged up on me. Then again, it was quickly remedied with Kyrenx showed up so no problem there. xp
@Mel: Twas a great fight friend. I did notice you start to use snake more. It made the game more interesting with all the explosions and random chaos around. Though I do look forward to battling your cousins later on.
Also, your brother was really good. He had quite some good timing with all the chaos ensuing. Though if he doesn't feel quite satisfied with yesterdays bouts, (as Kyrenx pointed) I would like to battle him under more controlled circumstances, aka 1 on 1.
@Darren: Sorry if I persist with this stupid quarrel, but the way your explaining it, it seems as if you get your kicks of others grief. I am all for having fun, especially when one doesn't expect to win, but my god, show some respect for your fellow combatants. After all, they are giving up time to battle as well, and it's no fun if they have to deal with grief in something that is suppose to be fun. I know you may at times not care for the outcome, but if that is the case, please stop annoying everyone else who does.
Also, your comment about having no lag. I cannot say if you had some or not for I am not in your presence to see as such, but I can infer with the hardware that is displayed as well as the software is given. Its starting to sound more like that you are used to fighting in lag rather than you not having any, and that is fine. Honestly, the only reason why I used game and watch intently was mainly due to all the lag I always have fighting you. After all, its not hard to spam the same move over and over in such lag. Hence why I couldn't use Jigglypuff right. Jiggly requires precise timing that cannot function in such still frames.
Also friend, we are all aware that Pinki is Akiza's friend. (Trust me, any connections to him screams out scrub! xd I am just teasing with you Akiza)
Just curious to wonder why you would defend someone who would cause such grief?
Our matches were tad annoying with all the lag involved, but for the most part fun. Everything I had stated before is not meant to be in malice friend. Just my rants on the whole subject of what I find quite annoying online. I do however look forward to battling you in the future friend.
@Nitrox: Awesome battles friend. It was quite humorous how your Ivysuar KOed it self. None of us seen it coming. Pure gold...
@Kyrenx: Dun Dun Dun..... *Drum Roll...* Another long post about my thoughts and rants... twisted

Yeah my brother seems to enjoy himself more in 1 on 1 fights. I don't know if I tell him this he will give it a try. I'm more of a person who loves to going in to brawls and taking more than one person. I think my inner Pyro was talking when I decided to stick with Snake because usually I'd stick with Wolf. FYI I don't really set things of fire...Though I would like to some times.
I laughed when Corm was Jiggly at Green Hill Zone, as I was watching one losing their last life as a star. A rollout came and BAM! got the other one and the match ended.
