He snickered at that. "Kind to me? Time has hardly been any kinder to me than it has to you. I'm far out of my prime." But she was just confusing him more as other people started to get involved. Moving over to a chair in the room he plopped down in it. "What does Galesen have to do with all of this?"
PostPosted: Mon Jun 08, 2009 9:16 pm

"You may not be in your prime anymore but your looks are no worse for the wear. I see the way the younger girls look at you. Some are young enough to be your daughter but they don't care." She watched Ty closely to see his reaction and then just felt foolish for trying to tempt him when she obviously couldn't. Sitting up, she pushed a hand through her hair and used a pillow to cover herself up and have something to hold onto. "He and I were...involved, I suppose you could say. I thought things were going well and Vale seemed okay with it at first..." But then things had gone downhill and Galesen had thrown her over completely for Isle...who was younger and better looking than Lhia. She studied the pillow but her eyes filled with tears at the hurt that came swarming back. "Long story short, he chose someone else. I was too...old, too used...too something."

He dropped his forehead into his hand, pinching at the bridge of his nose for a moment. This just got more and more complicated and the hardest part of it all was that nothing he could say could make it better. The problem was that there just wasn't an action for everything in the world. Getting up he moved over to sit by her on the bed, taking her pillow from her and pulling her into his lap. He made an obvious show of looking her revealed self over, even letting himself get his 'Brigade Master Inspection' look. "Well...I think the problem is clear here." Looking back up to her. "He's just simply too young to know the difference between say...a party attire and a good pair of gloves. One is very pretty to look at, but hardly gets any use. The other is well worked over and despite their age, you couldn't love them more." Shrugging at himself and his glove analogy.

"I could care less about little elves and the way they look at me. I know how things would be. I'm a glove and they aren't. Besides...I don't like young elves. Kids these days and their fancy swords, and their new fangled runes, and their adventuring, and their crowns and their tournament." Banking on his own age for some humor to as least lighten the mood some.

She forced herself not to suck in her tummy or arch her back so that her breasts appeared to sit higher than they actually did. He was going to accept all of her or she wouldn't have him. Cocking her head, she studied him for a moment following his analogy and brushed at the tears on her cheeks. Just being with him made her feel better though he didn't know that. "And I'm the glove?" She laughed softly, pressing her face into his neck and nuzzling him. "Those newfangled runes make your job a little easier, Master Tyyrael. Besides, I have heard tell that having mastered runes almost guarantees you are a fantastic lover. Think there's any truth to that?"

“Yes you’re the glove in my outdated probably odd analogy I’m making on the spot.” He’d fess up to that one, but then again when words didn’t mean to much to someone he supposed it didn’t matter how poor your analogy could be. “And no they don’t. They’re just stringing together combo rune after combo rune, devaluing the base rune they’re all built on. Multipurpose isn’t always better.” Though he couldn’t help the grin her got at her mentioning on certain…intimate knowledge…that was shared between master rune mages. “Well, I suppose that can be true as we are very good with our hands and rather obsessively as well. Could be a valued skill or an annoying trait, suppose that’s up to individuality. I couldn’t tell you personally

"That just makes you angry, doesn't it?" He was so amusing when he was talking about the way the young ones did things. Sometimes it was amusing how much help the two of could give--if only their charges would accept it. "I would stake my life on valued skill but I'll be sure to tell you when I find out firsthand." Gazing up at him from her spot in his lap, she gave him a wobbly smile. "Do you really think this dress makes me look sexy?"

"Not always. There was that one time it actually worked."

"You tried to give her the wrong size but the shopkeeper stopped it. Besides what do you want with an old surface elf anyway? Don't you have enough to keep you busy back home?"

Krymsyn glanced over and smirked. "Jealous, Trys?"

"Not a bit."

"Well they try to get all fancy and forget that eveything has and needs a good solid base" Shrugging his shoulders about it though as they all learned eventually. A light nuzzle at her, hoping that he was doing at least something to make her feel better. "Yes, I really do. And don't question me on it because I'm old, set in my ways, and thus not changing my mind."
PostPosted: Tue Jun 09, 2009 9:48 pm

"Which is one of the most important rules when it comes to dealing with anything. Always know the base because if you can destroy that, even the tallest tower will crumble." Yes, Ty had taught her well. She brushed her fingers over his cheek gently and leaned back against his shoulder, forgetting her lack of self confidence for the moment. "Enough to seduce me here and now, Ty?"

Broog was sitting and watching.

"yous want surface elf cause da surface elf is da leader of da...da....brigade."

giving a big nod and a light grin. he remembered. but looking between then both.

"Yous has more den one of da males?"

"Excatly, that's my point. Why is it that no one younger that six hundred can see this point. Runes were never about being fancy." Shaking his head lightly and turning a blink back to her as she leaned against him and he adjusted his hold on her somewhat. "I would say yes. That is if there weren't children downstairs, plus company, and I know at least one of them will barge in anywhere that they want." A grin, "That and my seducing is rusty."

"Because the young ones think they invented the runes and can do it better and faster. They have yet to learn that faster isn't always better and often leaves you with a bigger mess. 'Tis the folly of youth, I'm afraid." She patted his arm where it curved around her tummy and pressed a kiss to his cheek. "Knowing you would is enough for me. Although, you'll have to prove to me that your seducing skills are rusty before I believe that. How long has it been, Ty?"

"That's right, Broog. But I don't really want him like that. That's gross. I just want him to do what I say when I'm Queen and if he likes me it will be much easier." She frowned at Trys but blinked and shook her head. "Not really. My mother has given lots to me but most of them don't want anything to do with me. Trys likes to play so he's mine."

"I am not yours. Not in that way, anyway."

"No, I know that. Not up here at least."

"Right. And you need to leave Master Tyyrael alone, Krymsyn. He has enough to worry about without you causing him problems and throwing fits."

"I do not throw fits."

"Kyytael 'invented' those runes, they just suffer delusions of granduer." chuckling again and giving a grin as she seemed to be falling back into more positive spirits. However he gave a surprised blink at the unexpected question. "The truthful answer? A handful of centuries." Patting her thigh before getting himself up and taking her with him for a few seconds before setting her on her feet. "Now you can change or we can go as is. I have a scolding to do I'm sure."

"Play?"

Broog looked between them both, and shrugged lightly. his only reference to 'play' was what other breakers did in those special rooms...aside from a handful of experience with the various kids.

"You can't play with Broog. Broog no feel anyting anyways."

"And you feed them sometimes." She did it too because sometimes it was necessary for your student to feel that they could do anything and could conquer the plane if they really wanted to. It surprised her to know that Ty hadn't really done such things for a while and she wondered again why not. Perhaps there was something he wasn't telling her... "I'm not letting Krymsyn win. I'll go as is." Starting for the door and then pausing, "Where exactly are we going?"

"Not even a hug or a kiss? Trys and I play games like that all the time. Don't we?" She ignored the shrug she got, first from Broog and then Trys, and cocked her head at Broog. "Are you staying a long time?"

shaking his head

"No, broog only be here till pretty shiny dress done for da mistress."
