I know Neuf has plugged it already, but you should watch the latest series of Skins. There's a character with Autism in it, and many episodes show him coping with it. However, no Jewish people. crying
Maybe next series.

I also so that with my cell. My cell phone's name is Chuck. His face is the picture in the background. No one names their phones!!!!! scream I yelled at doomjax for not naming his until he finally just named it Jo(h)n.

Personification of everyday objects? If you could paint, you'd make a very good Surrealist, Lummany. I still have a stuffed animal I can't help but personify. His name is Rudy, and he's a toy lynx I was given at 4. Unfortunately, I developed emotional bonds easily when I was young, and so can't seem to leave poor Rudy.

Multiply that times about 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, 000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 for me.
But it's not that psycho when you think about it; If you have trouble with people and need a teddy bear for anyday, anywhere usage, but can't die to society, being attactched emotionally to your cell phone makes a lot of sense.
A few steps from objectophilia, but....

I have my stuffed bear, Roger. We weren't that close or anything, but getting rid of him would make me so sad.
I also had an imaginary friend that looked like Woodstock from Peanuts. He wore a baby blue pea coat and only went to about my ankle. That guy was my closest friend until I started probably 1st or 2nd grade.

I never had an imaginary friend. I've had a friend I've known since I was about 1 1/2, so I just talked to him all the time. Still do wink

I also have a slammin' Lego man on my keys named Johnny Thunder who hangs with me ALL day at school. That's right; THE Johnny Thunder: official Indianna Jones lego knockoff before they actually had Indianna Jones legos. He rules and is so nice!!
