Leander jumped a bit in his seat at Vaida's loud and boorish entrance, then reached down to scratch along Ed's neck, sighing. "Afraid that's my fault... sit down, please, I'll explain everything soon. I'm just waiting for everyone to get here, because I really don't want to tell this story a thousand times." He cracked a little smile and drummed his fingers on the arm rest, glancing at the fire. It flared up again, spreading warmth throughout the room.

xxxxx"If you're worried about surviving, xxxxxxxyou can worry about it after you're dead!" "The wyvern riders of Bern sit atop the heap of all other forces on the continent!" xxxxx "You will see our power soon!"
Vaida looked over to Tibarn, after finding where he was, and entered the room. She looked at Ayra. Damn she got fat fast... She noticed the strange man in the room, whose presence seemed to put chills into your body.
"What's with Frosty the snow man?"

Zelos walked past the crowds, carrying Amelia like she was a corpse or something. Reaching an empty corner, Zelos crouched down, placing the knight back on her feet. As soon as he was sure that she was steady, he walked off into another room. However, Rei walked out. He approached Amelia, hands behind his back. He nervously trudged up to Amelia, and extended his hands. "The angel guy told me to give this to you, and to say Merry Rhysmas and thanks for all the fun." In his hands was a Knight's Crest, something that Amelia could have used a long time ago.*cue innocent whistling* Rei then walked back over to the common area, planning to hear the Ice King's story. He flopped down onto the floor next to Ayra's couch, with an extremely interested (and kinda childish) look on his face.

Amelia sighed as Rei continued to carry her. "I'm fine, really," she insisted. He was really carrying her strange, like he thought an obscure disease would emanate off of her and into him if he held her any differently. When he put her down, she appreciated the time taken to make sure she was steady on her feet.
Amelia blinked as Rei offered her something. "Huh?" Amelia took the Knight's Crest from him, studying it curiously. She traced the insignia on it with awe. She hadn't thought of promoting, but she could feel the thrum of power in it, and she held it tightly in her hands. I'll use this soon, she thought, deciding to do so once things had wound down for the night.
"Thank you," Amelia said with a smile. She followed Rei into the main room, sitting down near where Rhys had flopped onto the rug. "How are things holding up here?" she asked, smiling, holding the Knight's Crest still in her hands.

"We're waiting for everone so Leander can start his story." Valter said as he leaned against the wall.

"Well... he's on our side, she just appeared, and... I guess this means everybody's back," Rhys said, pointing to Leander, then Vaida as he spoke. "Also," he added, leaning closer so he wouldn't be rude over the commotion, "Leander might be willing to provide backstory for us. Maybe we can figure out where these monsters are coming from, or something."

Amelia nodded, knowing about how Leander had come, though Vaida's appearance was a bit of a surprise. She rested her new Crest in her lap and leaned forward a little, resting her arms on her knees. "All right. It'll be interesting, I'm sure." She looked over at Leander in curious interest, waiting for him to begin.

Happy with this attention, the wolf continued to wag her tail, although panting was a bit unnecessary from the cold touch. She watched the others, ears perking at Vaida's entrance. It appeared Abel was with them too.
Ed watched the room. Not everyone was here, but there was never in time in FEF when absolutely everyone was here — just enough to pass as "everyone". Oh well~

Leander sat back and sighed, finally pulling his fingers away from Ed and pressing them together in front of his chest. "Alright... I suppose I'll have to begin with... well, about nine hundred years ago."
He found it easier to tell the story this time, now that he had told it once to Nino, now that he had had some more time to come to grips with the fact that everyone he knew died so long in the past that nothing now remained of them but historical footnotes. He told them about receiving his power, about using it, about how the world was destroyed...
About how he froze himself, and about his sudden awakening...
"And... I'm so sorry. When I saw Nino... Between the flags with my crest, I... she looks so much like Nadalia did... I just couldn't believe so much time had passed. I thought you were bandits, trying to take over my kingdom from me... I hope I didn't kill anyone in that blizzard, dear gods..."
He sighed. "I tried to make Nino remember... I thought Nadalia had been bewitched, or something... I ended up chasing her in the catacombs, and... we found--" He choked for a moment, still coming to grips with what he had seen. "We found Nadalia's coffin... I still can't believe all I've put you through... And I can't believe so many monsters have taken root in Learania-- er, FEF Kingdom, now, I guess..."
He sighed softly, sitting back again. "Before you ask me any other questions, please-- Nino said she came through some door in her own world, and appeared mysteriously in this one. And that she could not get back... Do you all have... similar stories?
[Note: The only way to reach FEF Kingdom (Learania) from one of the FE continents is to travel through a magic door like the one in Fefga's house. However, the doors are one-way. If you go through one, you can't get back. Anyone who came to Learania from one of the FE games had to have come through a magic door to get here, and there is no way back to their home.]

(IT'S FFTA, BUT THE TOTEMA ARE IN SPACE SO WE CAN'T GET THEM. D=)
"Similar... stories?"
He thought for a second.
"Going through a door and appearing in another world... huh. And here I thought I was the only one."
He collected his thoughts.
"After the War of the Goddess, I felt as though my life on Tellius didn't have nearly as much meaning--Ike left, Mia left, the Greil Mercenaries practically disbanded... I was a teacher, and I had a salary. But without anybody truly close to me, I became... depressed. Alone. Life was just the same old drudgery day after day--Get up, teach, go home, go to bed. Being sick fairly often with one thing or another didn't help, either. Then one day, I ascended the same old stairs to my classroom, ready to start another day of school with my students. Except... I wasn't watching where I was going. I must've ascended the wrong stairs, or perhaps I just... WISHED to be somewhere else at the time, and the door just led me into inky blackness. Now, here I am today."
M-My Goddess... what have I done? Does this mean... because I was unhappy with my life, that I did what Ike did? Did I just ABANDON everyone I once knew? My parents, my friends... everyone?

Amelia listened quietly as Leander shared his story with them, not once uttering a single sound. She let the words flow in and nestle in her thoughts, taking root. He only wanted to help... and ended up doing something utterly unthinkable, she thought.
When he began to apologize, Amelia came out of her reverie and looked up again. He had killed people, but perhaps much more were due to the monsters and not the blizzard. That had at least a small window for people to get somewhere/i] that would give them refuge. At the end, Amelia thought over his final words, the question lingering over their heads like a fog.
"Yes..." she murmured. "I had finally been going home, finally able to find my mother again... I hadn't seen her since I was a little girl... but the door lead here instead of home. No one had ever explained to me how that had happened." But now that Leander mentioned it, it made her wonder all over again, trying to push the mournful thoughts away. "How could that happen, though? Like someone ripped a hole inbetween worlds and tugged them together..."
Blossom finally came back in and sat down near the others as Leander began his story. She listened quietly, though as he finished, she paused. How did she get here? "I think... I had decided to go visit my parents' graves in the vill-- well, what was left of it... and I guess when I went through what was left of the doorway... uh... I think a loose stone hit my head, and when I woke up... I was kind of here." Blossom rubbed the back of her neck. Thank St. Elimine I'm not here alone, she thought, glancing around to find Aidan in the crowd.
[[Why is this thought of merging two or more worlds making me think of Sylvarant and Tethe'alla? XD]]

Melethia walked into the house looking like death had washed over her, ok she was just really tired. The blood and spit from the chimera had now mostly dried on her body. "Can someone with a staff come here and help me out. I've got a dislacated wing and both my hands have big cuts."

"Yes... It was only 155 days ago. (I joined right when I created this account, so I know this) I remember it so well. After being defeated by Eirika, I wandered all over the continent of Magvel aimlessly. Then one day, I had stolen enough to buy a new lance, so I walked through the door to what should have been an armory but instead was the door to this place." Valter said all of this with a look of pain across his face. Even remembering those times hurt him on the inside.

Alihi sat herself comfortably on the floor, pulling her knees to her chest. She only nodded to Leander, forgiving but not really saying a word. After Valter finished speaking, the tactician formulated her reply.
"Yes. ... It was sometime after the Second Scouring ended. I don't know how long after, though... it doesn't really matter that much. I was with my brother and daughter in Bern, and I was happy. Really, really, happy. But still... I guess I still longed for the life as a tactician. It was... exciting. It made me feel alive, more so than I ever did." She sighed lightly. "A-and then, one day, I decided to leave. I-I ruffled Amara's hair as tears formed in her little eyes, I-I told Akihi I'd be back soon as he protested... I stepped through the door... And everything was dark. N-next thing I know... I'm here." She bit her lip. Saying her story out loud made her seem so selfish, and it... it irritated her. It made her angry at herself.
"How... How could I have done that?! Amara... Akihi... I miss you so much..."
