Rebecca jumped slightly as the door opened on it's own and Vandal nearly walked smack into her. She recovered quickly enough though, and looked up at him as he led her out of the room and into the main area. Her eyes widened slightly at the news he gave her.
"He.. it's done? All of it? I'll never have to-" she began, then quickly corrected herself. "We'll never have to worry about Cobblepot again?" She felt as though she should jump up and hug him. Just... something. But she really didn't know what to do. It was like her mind just didn't know how to react to the fact that she never... NEVER... had to worry about doing such work like that again.

"Never again. It's over," Savage confirmed, releasing Rebecca in order to put on his jacket. "However, something unrelated has come up. Some unfinished business. I'll try to be back very soon." Savage' face was solemn as he spoke. Then, he turned to Julianne, saying, "If she asks for anything, treat it as though I asked for it."
"You got it," she replied, a slight smirk on her face showing as she looked at Rebecca again. It wasn't as bold a look as before; there was a little admiration there this time. "Just let the front know; I have to account for time away from attending to other guests."

Rebecca smiled widely when he confirmed that she didn't have to worry about Cobblepot any longer. Her smile was short lived though, when he told her that he had to leave. She looked over at Julianne as the woman spoke, then nodded. "I will, thank you..." she replied, then turned back towards Savage. "I'll keep to the room then." she told him with a small smile. She could... watch TV or something. How long had it been since she had watched anything other than the news?

"I'll let them know for you," Savage said to Rebecca, "I'm going down there, anyways." Fully clothed, he pulled in Rebecca tightly. "I will be back. I swear it." His voice was calm and sincere. He was sincere; he fully intended to return as soon as possible.

Rebecca smiled a bit at that. "Alright... be careful." she replied, then leaned up and kissed him with probably the most passion she'd given anyone before. For all Savage had done for her so far... it was the least she could do as a thank you.

The passion was definitely returned, as Vandal kissed her back. After a moment, he broke the kiss and said to Julianne, "Take care of her."
"I will," Julianne said, "You take care, too."
Savage nodded, and went to the door, pausing to look one more time at Rebecca and say, "I'll be back." Then, he went out the door.
Taking the elevator, he called his offshore banker, and had the payment money prepared for transfer to Cobblepot. Once on the first floor, he informed the front desk that Rebecca was his guest, and was to be treated with every accordance they would extend to him. The concierge told him he would inform the manager, and with that, Vandal Savage headed out the door, back to the Iceberg Lounge; he needed answers, and the Penguin had proved to be very good at providing them.

Julianne, as soon as Savage was out of the penthouse, looked at Rebecca and said, "You are a lucky woman."

Rebecca watched Vandal leave, then turned her attention over to Julianne. Feeling better now that she was securely covered in a robe, and her attention shifted to current events, Rebecca didn't seem as shy about the other woman being there still.
She smiled lightly. 'I am..." she agreed. "Honestly I never thought something like this could happen. To anyone really."

"No, you don't understand," Julianne said, sitting down, smiling, "With every other woman Mr. Savage has brought here before, there's been a certain routine in the mornings. He answers the door as he did today, I come in, and the woman rushes to the bathroom for whatever reason. After this, though, is where you became the exception. Every time before, while the other woman was in the bathroom, we'd begin doing what you two undoubtedly did for a good amount of last night. Most times, they'd come out, get all upset, and leave us to enjoy each other. A few times, they'd join in. This time, though, he didn't want to." Leaning back, she added, "I'm not jealous. I'm just saying, you have NO IDEA how lucky you are."

Rebecca just stood there staring at Julianne, her mouth opened a bit in surprise. However much she had prepared herself to find out she wasn't the first woman Vandal brought back for a one night fling... it hadn't been enough. For there to be a routine for every girl he brought here... as though it were nothing... Well, if Julianne hadn't told her that she was the only one Savage hadn't gone through with his routine with... she'd probably be more than just a little upset. But... the fact that Savage had to leave in a hurry to see to something... perhaps he was too busy to try much with the other woman.
But... after what he had just done for her with Cobblepot...
Rebecca closed her mouth and shook her head slightly. Trying to get her thoughts clear. This had been the most... interesting 24 hours of her life. Feeling as though she really needed to sit down, Rebecca moved towards the closest chair to her. "I.... take it he brings quite a few dates home with him?" she asked. Then the thought passed that Vandal then made out with this woman every morning afterwards. "...and... then he spends his morning with you? He must... really enjoy your company." she added.

"Can't say it didn't have its perks," the surprisingly forthcoming woman replied to Rebecca, the smile turning into more of a smirk as she thought back for a brief moment, "But really, it's way more of a 'friends with benefits', thing than any real romance. Granted, it has a rather dramatic slant towards the 'benefits', but it would never become anything truly serious. Not for either of us. He talks of the future, for himself, and maybe one day a family. I can't conceive, and I don't really see myself even wanting a family, anyways."
Then, Julianne's face went serious for a moment as she added, "And sometimes, he gets really... Gosh, how do I describe it..." She struggled for a moment, trying to think of a word. Then, she continued with, "He gets really intense sometimes. Really obsessively angry. Never towards me, but it still scares me sometimes. I don't think I could deal with that in a relationship. Then again..." Her face lightened a little, but it didn't recover the earlier gleeful expression of earlier. "I've never seen him outside of his trips here, and it could all just be because of in-town business. He could be far less prone to anger away from Gotham. I know I would be."

Rebecca frowned some as Julianne spoke about her relationship with Vandal. Her frown grew a bit deeper as she spoke of Vandal's anger. After what Vandal had admitted to her last night... the only thing she could thing for him to become so angry over would be the super heroes that he is not on the best of terms with. 'Unfinished business' perhaps. If that was the case... then it probably wasn't just Gotham. As she thought on that... and thought more about what the woman had said... she suddenly found herself with a list of questions the woman might be able to answer for her. She certainly seemed to know more about Vandal's daily goings on than she did right now. Rebecca looked over at the tray of breakfast, then looked back to Julianne. ”If..” she began, trying to think of how to begin. ”... if you don't mind, would tell me more about what you know about Vandal? As you can imagine... I knew nothing of any of his... temper or flings. I'd rather be at least a little better prepared if I'm going to be traveling with him. Know at least a little more of what to expect.” she said, then gestured to the plate. ”We could talk some over breakfast. I'm not sure when Vandal will be back, but I certainly won't be eating both servings myself.” she added. Then thought of it a moment, and moved to make herself a plate. She was rather hungry now that she was thinking of food. ”How bad... how bad is his temper?” she began, pulling a plate out for herself. ”Shouting and cursing? Destroying furniture?” She sat down and pulled a little more food onto her plate. ”What does he talk about when he talks about his future? And...” she said, then paused and looked rather embarrassed to be asking the next bit. “ How often.. DID he bring someone else home or meet with you? I just... I'm still trying to figure out why he found me so special. Still trying to get my head wrapped around everything I suppose. It's been... everything's been just a little mind blowing since yesterday. Guess I'm wanting to know how long it'll be before he gets bored with me and brings someone else home again. Past experiences has left me with a glass-half-empty kind of outlook on certain things.”// trying out more character post images... //

Julianne started laughing a little; it was a light, cheerful laugh that could brighten a room on its own. "Oh, you can slow down with the questions a little, Miss Rebecca. Mr. Savage will be a while, but I think I'll still be faster than him." Thinking a little, she began her many responses.
"Well, his temper has caused the management to keep a decent stock of pictures on hand to cover holes in the wall, but I've never seen him strike another person." She shrugged and added with a smirk, "Probably a good thing, too. Strong as he is, he'd probably kill whoever he hit. As for his future, he often talks of children, as though they're something he needs, rather than just wants. Which of course means I'm just something to pass the time for him, but I never liked strings in my relationships, anyways. They just turn into knots."
Then, her smirk became something close to the lustful grin that Julianne wore the first time she saw Rebecca. "And as for his previous relationships with other women, he's never stayed with one for very long. I guess he decides to bring them here, and even if he doesn't want to make them part of his life, he does what he does so very well with them, then leaves them. He doesn't get rid of me, for a few reasons. I work here, I don't ask much in the way of questions, and I have a few... talents that apparently many women don't care to practice, but I love to. I could go into more detail about it, but only if you ask."
Finally, as she thought about Rebecca's final comments, she became more thoughtful in her gaze, as though looking at her with more studiousness. "Oh, but I wouldn't worry about that glass running out anytime soon. You're a great departure in demeanor from the normal type of woman he meets with, and I think he's quite happy about that. And if it means anything, Miss Rebecca, I'm happy that he's happy, even if it's at my detriment."

Rebecca listened quietly to Julianne, eating a few bites off of her plate as she did so. Putting holes through the wall, eh? She could live with that. As long as his anger was never really aimed at a body, she could handle broken furniture and such.
"Needs to have children?" Rebecca mused, tapping her fork on the edge of her plate. With as long as he's lived, she could understand there not being a 'want' for children. But... why the need?
She continued to listen, and even though she was still thinking about how long Vandal would keep interest in her.... her mind kept going back to something else Julianne had said. "Um..." she began, almost unwillingly. "What sort of... talents do most women not care to practice?" She'd certainly heard of different things... living with brothers and working at the Lounge. Still... she wasn't fully knowledgeable of such things.

"Well, since you asked," Julianne started, getting up and walking towards the mini-fridge, "Let me start by saying that I'm really glad I hadn't started eating yet; it's harder for me to do on a full stomach." When she reached it, she opened the freezer door and pulled out a fudge popsicle. Opening it, she continued. "Someone who doesn't have full control of their gag reflex will find this a very hard feat to accomplish."
As soon as she had it fully unwrapped, she tilted her head upward, and put the fudge pop into her mouth whole, closed her lips, and withdrew the stick, leaving the popsicle in her mouth. It was only there for a moment, though, as she was somehow able to swallow the whole thing. She took a deep breath as soon as she was able, and smiled at Rebecca. "Things like that."

Rebecca watched Julianne walk over to the fridge, and continued to eat her breakfast. She stopped however when the woman pulled out a Popsicle and began to unwrap it. She stared at the thing with a bit of puzzlement, and watched on as Julianne preformed her... trick.
Rebecca's eyes grew wide, and her face turned a few shades of red. When Julianne looked back at her with a smile, Rebecca couldn't help but look away from her in embarrassment. "O-oh." was all she could manage to say. "Oh... I-I see."
She couldn't do that. She knew a few of Cobblepot's favorite girls who could probably do that... but she couldn't do that. That was..... she couldn't do that.
