jellysundae poor Mia crying while it effect her health? or just her prospects of motherhood? you can still show Rino though, he's bound to win a mountain of trophies. If it isn't treated it can be deadly, but once they're spayed (is it spayed for female cats?) they'll be completely cured since pyometra is an infection in the uterus. I'm going to try and give her a homeopathic remedy called Pulsatilla first, it's been known to cure pyometra in some cases so I'm keeping my fingers crossed whee I'll definitely take Rino to shows even if I can't take Mia, the thing that bothers me the most about possibly not being able to show her anymore is that she's only five shows away from becoming a European Champion, which is the highest title a cat can get here neutral I know it probably sounds silly to worry about something like that but it's taken so long to get this far...

It doesn't sound silly at all. I hope things work out for you. BTW yes it is called spay for females cat or dog. It's neuter for male cat or dog. smile

You can add as many baby pic's as you want in there. I will agree, he is adorable... (but not as cute as my 5 year old.) I am sorry about the pictures!!! *I shall wander a little more before I post more* I didn't get much of a chance to look around yesterday my son was calling!!! As for the alternate Jaz thing that is my most favored name but I can try Jazmine (not jasmine) that way I still have my beloved Jaz in there!!! wink wink wink I hope you posted piccies of you daughter *I wanna see I wanna see* I want a little girl soooo desperately!!! *sniffles* lol i see this was mentioned already *hugs* just talked about it in another thread as I'm catching up heart Just gonna take me some getting used to is all

She's been constipated and having a hard time breathing. i'm a little worried about her. Embarrassed to say I even cried over it. Hopefully it's nothing.

so, good and bad things today.
Jaz, i'm so sorry about your poor kitty, i hope her treatment does help her to feel better and enjoy the time she has left.
but on the up side...
Congratulations Butterfly on being MOTW!!!
this is an apt example of how life works isn't it? sad news for one Purkle, happiness for another, it comes to us all and we all have to deal with it. but here on the couch we can share life's pleasures and pains and be all the better for it.

Hopefully it's nothing. Well, I posted in Yahoo PC but I'll update you all here too. What we thought was constipation turned out to be fluid in her chest pressing on her lungs and causing her inability to breathe. If we hadn't taken her to the vet yesterday morning she would have suffocated while we slept. They even had to give her oxygen while xraying her cuz she stopped breathing. They thought she had received a trauma (such as not landing right or maybe getting kicked or hit by a bicycle) but she's never outside. They removed the fluid from her chest and were going to send it out to get tested. In the meantime they gave us lasix & amoxil to treat the fluid symptoms. We got a phone call an hour or so later that they did some prelim testing on the fluids from her chest and they found some cancer and she was positive for feline leukemia. They gave us steroids to treat her, but they said her time from here on depends on if she's a fighter. Could be weeks, could be months. yesterday I think she still thought she was dying and so she hid from sight most of the day, but today she's pretty much back to her normal self. It's funny how I missed the small things like her jumping on my bed to wake me up in the mornings or following me into the bathroom, or even just sitting in the sun next to me while I'm on the computer.

i hate to hear about your kittys jaz and ebil....and there is no shame in crying for your pet....they are like family.... i know i have shed many a tear for my pets....especially my chihuahua i have....i raised her since she was 4 hours old....there were only 2 in the litter and the mom couldnt feed them so she walked away and left them to die....my aunt gave me the girl and another lady took the boy....this was while i was preg with jake...so i guess my motherly instincts took over.....dolly was my baby....and i guess due to the fact she didnt have the nutrients that a mothers milk provides...she had problems....see.....when she would play...after she wa through..she would have a seizure....and i being a panicky person..i rushed her to the vet....i was there every other day....crying cause i didnt know what was wrong with her and scared of what would happen to her...it turns out the reason for the seizures was cause she was diabetic....so we had this little tube of paste we would give her to ease the seizures......that pup went with me everywhere......to work, home, the store, and the bank.....which that is a funny story right there....... i worked for my dad mechanicing on 18 wheelers.....yes preg and torquing down a detroit...it was a funny sight....but anyway....i had to run to the bank to deposit checks.....i had dolly with me....she was so small...so i put her in my shirt...i walked up to the teller and was waiting...then she stared at me...i was trying to readjust dolly....i told the teller listen...i have my puppy in here....and i pulled dolly out so she could see....i had to..it looked like she was fixing to hit the panick button lol dolly is now 4 years old....healthy other then she has an alergic reaction to fleas sad .....her brother didnt make it to a month old sad ....i guess being paranoid wasnt so bad at that time...if yall would like to see her then go Hereand thanks jelly for letting me know about that....i love the honor 3nodding ...but i am not sure how i got it...it has been so long since i have posted there eek ....i am a lurker ninja
