Tolly waited till they were a good distance in the trees. "Ailes, I can't put my finger on what at the moment, but Toole isn't himself at all. He knows the traditions here, I've taught him that, but what he waited for is beyond me. Although i liked your handling of Yumiru, but that's not why i asked for your time. Is there anything you told him before tonight that has him off focus, no matter how trivial, because I'm worried for his sake. Granted i haven't been the best parent and Toole has probaby told you stories, but I'm in light of recent events I want to make sure he's okay for your future happiness."

Toole set his spoon down and turned his head away to start coughing hard for a minute. He took a few deep breaths before turning back to face everyone. He felt eyes on him and he turned his head to see his siblings staring at him as if something were wrong. "Relax it was the pepper in the soup. I'm not dying so quit looking at me like that."

Tolly looked down at Panda; "Very good, but it was Lisa who sent that ahead in a confusing sort of message. I had a say it a few times before I understood it myself, but then again i had time in jail. You did a swell job in remembering that Panda."

Tolly looked at Ailes; "I don't understand how she could, but if she did then I under esitmated her abilites before her death. I guess we count our blessings as they come, but do you know if he ever put his enchantments back in place minus his journal?"

Tolly moved over to sit down in front of the bushes, he spread his legs out wide he drew a symbol in the dirt before streching forward his hands in front of him. He did a few other stretching excersises before standing back up. He walked over and took Ailes back from where she was standing. At good eye distance tolly let her go and turned around. He spoke at the bushes; "Alright, who ever you are, you best come out, because if i activate the symbol on the ground, you and the bush will become a crater in the ground."

Tolly smiled; "it works, not even my child, but it works the same way." Tolly walked over and began untangling the two from the bush. He managed to get Ailes free, but Kaos was painfully intertwined in the bush. It was beginning to annoy Tolly as the thorns poked him, but he got Kaos loose from the offending plant. As he brushed thorns out of his robe he had to ask; "So which of my daughters are you hanging around with, I have four, 3 are of age, but 1 is not."

Quannah came marching through the trees, and stopped to look at kaos's wounds. She ignored everyone else and finished what kaos hadn't already done. When she was satisfied the spells would finish up on their own, she stood up and kissed her father's cheek. "Love you father..." Quannah kept on moving towards the village to where she felt her other siblings to be. She stopped and came back to Ailes; "Yuma told me about you and Toole, and i'm really happy for the both of you. Pardon my rudeness a minute ago, but I'm trying to rush so i can get back where I belong. I just completed what I needed to do, but I came this far might as well say hello to my brothers and sisters."

Toole felt the symptoms returning, and he thanked heaven Ailes was still out with Tolly. He turned his forearm so that the underside was visible and he began drawing the symbols on it. He looked up from an odd feeling, and four tables of lighting demons were looking at him. He looked to his left to see what his siblings were doing and their seats were empty. he felt a tap on his shoulder and he finished turning his head to look behind him and they were all standing behind him. mary poked him in the nose; "Does Ailes know your sick, or have you been hiding it like your attempting now?" Toole stood up; "I didn't want her to worry, and don't you think about it either. After this fight I was going to tell her." "I can't belive you Toole, you are a healer yourself, and you know darn well its just a potion and you'll still be able to fight." Lisa was furious, but Roothemay added further; "You could make it yourself for crying out loud, the ingredients were widely available in Rodasia as they are here in arynia." Toole responded back; "I suck at potions, i could never get them to taste right, function correctly yes, but taste no i always had to have someone make them taste better or none of my patients would stand to drink them."

Tolly smiled at the thought fo sorrow finally finding love. He glanced up at Tsume; "I don't think we met before, but my name is Toleranth or Tolly for short."

Quannah smiled and she ran a hand through ailes hair; "Come now, you shouldn't think that of people, but find out why they are unhappy. Happy people do not act like crazy Lighting women." Quannah smiled; "You have pretty hair, but lets get going. I haven't long before I must go back."

Quannah started to walk slowly towards the village. Tolly hung back with Tsume and Kaos to hear Tsume's answer.

Toole's brothers and sisters finally caught ahold off the sprinting Toole with the aid of a young woman from the village sticking her foot out. They began to pile on top of him. Yumiru was with Roothemay in the kitchen working on the medicine end. Yumiru wasn't doing anything but laughing at what Roothemay was telling her about children not wanting to drink it because of the awful taste.

"Well now, anyone who can stop the cycle of bodies at the feet of my elder sister is more then qualfied to protect me." Quannah looked at Ailes; "Ailes, does Toole ever talk about me with you?"

Tolly was leary of the look; "Well then its nice to meet you, and yes I have been to Rodasia. A very good friend owns an Inn there. Why do you ask?"

When Ailes, Quannah, and Kaos stepped back into the dinner area the tables had already been cleared away. Akira got up from drawing symbols in the dirt and erased them with her foot. "Ailes, i was told to wait for you here, and tell you Toole is sick. He was spitting up blood, and won't stop coughing to drink the potion to make him better." Akira looked at the two with Ailes a bit more closely; "Ailes, why is there a man from a book, and my older sister here. Both are recorded dead, did toole tell you, and you bring them back to help him?"

Quannah scooped the youngest up in her arms; "I tell you what Akira, how about we save the questions for after we fix Toole. If its progressed this far, the potion will need a slight change to it, and besides i have a task for you and a few others."

Quannah set Akira down and she led them to where Toole sat in a chair. Quannah roamed the edges of the group and pulled Lennox aside along with Motasa and Mary. "Mary, your taking these three and yourself back to your place. You shouldn't be here, and certainly these three are too young. This is no place for them, and you need to be with your daughter."

Mary tried to give a reason, but for everyone decent reason she came up with Quannah has a better counter. The only thing Quannah met her on was that she could stay long enough to know Toole would be fine. Mary didn't argue the senority of her over Quannah because Quannah wouldn't care if she did.

Toole could feel Ailes presence, but he concentrated on trying to catch his breath before the next round of coughing began. It hurt like hell to cough now since the effects of all his past masking spells had worn off. The coughing fits were coming to frequent for him to even attempt to drink the awful tasting potion that Carnath was holding within reach for Toole.

Toole drank the tea which felt good to his raw throat, and quieted the raspy breathing. He glanced up at kaos. "Probably disappointed in me at the moment, I didn't think it was this bad, but now here I am looking like a fool."

Lisa grumbled; "Serves you right, you could have told at least one of us, and granted we would tell on you. However, at least you wouldn't be sitting here now caught in the spotlight of stupidity in front of everyone when i could have been just Ailes." Roothemay just shook her head; "What I keep failing to understand is why you of all people having the knowledge to fix it on your own, didn't just do it, and got it over with without anyone being the wiser."

"He knows he couldn't hide it, Ailes is smart, and would have found out in time after putting all the pieces together. Not to mention she had a clue in from you Quannah." Tolly's voice cut through the chatter of his children. "Yumiru is already moving her people to the north, So start your preperations, but please give the boy some air."

Some more mumbling and Toole's siblings moved off to go prepare for the coming fight. Tolly summoned three chairs, one for himself, another for Ailes and Kaos. He sat down on the far side of Toole and stole one of his hands. He said nothing more, but toole looked at him. "What do you want?" Tolly shook his head; "I want nothing but you health restored, i'm concerned, but in your in the best of hands." Toole eyes narrowed; "you think I'm a fool too?" Tooly shook his head; "If you're a fool, then I'm an even bigger fool for letting it happen, I knew something was wrong back in Rodasia, but I figured you to be a man. I can't keep making your choices for you, you old enough to be on your own, but consider this from now on.

Tolly summoned Toole's journal and set in his lap, he used a finger nail to split the pages and open it to the exact page he wanted. On the left page was a picture of Quannah. He took Toole's hand that he was holding and marked the page, and he flipped back to where the picture of Ailes eating at the cafeteria table was drawn. "Whose expectations are you living up to, the one who ran down a hill and got killed, or the one who is saving you from your pride?" Tolly stood up leaving the book there and patted Toole on the back before walking around front to join the rest of his children.
