In the middle of Sayuri's chant, the spear on Alder's right fired a black wave right at her. The two reiatsu entities collided prematurely, exploding rather closely to Sayuri. However, a mere explosion wouldn't be the worst that Rei had to deal with. No....Oujou Odoriko had other plans for her. He wasn't a member of their squad like Alder was; he would kill Rei if she messed up. Which, unfortunately, she had.
The move in dodging the spear at the last moment was foolish, to say the least. As soon as she passed the spear, a black wave fired from it before she could even turn around. When she did see it coming, it would take extremely fast-nearly shunpo fast-movements to dodge the incoming wave of reiatsu.
"While you're doing extremely well, I would seriously recommend teamwork." Alder said, making sure to compliment their strength before giving advice. A compliment always opened up the mind to new advancements.

Rei couldn't had ducked out of the way to save her life, and she knew that, so she didn't. Instead, the female shinigami swung her sword to her back, the blade flatting itself parallel to her should blades, her free hand's - the left hand's - palm resting firmly against the blade to meet the oncoming riatsu. The black energy hit her from behind like a speeding train, and Rei skidded a few meters forward from the force but no more. Her sword had protected her from having the riatsu endangering her life, but sparks of the energy still burned her back, accompanied by stings of pain. You want me dead huh? So be it. Rei could feel her long black hair down at her back getting hacked to pieces by the zanpaktou's attack, and she couldn't help but spare a thought about how she should cut her darn hair one of these days. Rei suddenly ducked under her sword, her body extremely close to the ground but her two arms still holding her poor sword against the wave of energy. Getting out of the range of the riatsu attack with a tight roll, Rei crouched upright and mumured in a quiet voice. "Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini. Look upon yourself with horror and tear out your own throat. Bakudo Number 9, Horin!" A string of orange burst out of her pointed left index finger, now its tip bleeding from holding the sword for too long against the attack. Rei could bind the spear; she probably had the ability to do that, but what good would it do? Nothing, absolutely nothing. Rei knew that in a battle, possibly one to the death, one becomes anxious, but she won't do that just yet. Really? She thought to herself amusingly as she smugly tied the kido rope around her own right hand and sword, connecting the two so that the blade would not slip out of her would be heavily fatigued hand. Posing the sword in a protective stance beside her body, Rei raised her left index finger and chanted once again. "Hado Number 4, Byakurai!" A streak of light shot out of her finger and headed for the spear. She had to think up something soon, for Sayuri won't be able to keep this up much longer, and they hadn't even put a dent in Alder's spirit yet. Now you regret for not having leadership skills. Rei thought to herself with sarcastic humor.

As Sayuri chanted two waves colided and exploded very close to her. In order not to get killed she stopped chanting.
Whats going on here? The battle style changed too quickly for Sayuri as she attemped to dodge the explosion. Rushing forward as fast as she could she mananged to escape with nothing but a slight burn on her left leg. If I can't use a kido spell with the chant, then I'll just use it directly." "Hado number four! Byakurai!"

Sayuri's attack soared past the spears, and headed straight for Alder. "Not bad...." Alder shifted to the side as the attack passed. He didn't move far enough, however, and the shot of energy shot a hole in his robe. ".....well, looks like my clothes have some character now...." he laughed a bit as he shifted the spear by Sayuri. It began to spin horizontally, and at a rapid pace. It got closer and closer to her...
Hinata would soon have even more difficulty with Oujou's spear. He used his ability while in the form of the spear, and deflected the kidou based attacks, making one of them explode at his base, covering him in smoke, and the other at Rei's feet, most likely blinding her in a cloud of smoke.
"Hadou Number Four....Byakurai." Alder chanted, as he fired a bolt in front of Sayuri, encasing her in dust as well. He shifted his hand, and all the spears that were attacking came back to him without even hitting their opponents. They formed the familiar circle around him, even the two in the ground coming back. Alder gripped two of the spears, and made them pull him into the air. As soon as he was out of obvious sight, he sent one of the two back down, and sat on the last one like a bench, watching the two from high in the sky.
Once the dust cleared, the two would see that Alder had gone....yet, his spears remained, motionless.
(Please, don't look up. It's better that you guys don't notice him up there at all.)

((OK. So Evil and I really wanted to finish our spar, so for the sake of continuity we're going to ignore all the recent posts and make it look like the fight is over by now.
I hope you guys have no objections to this and work around it.
So, basically for now it's as if we have two distinct story-lines in this thread : Mine and Evil's, and everyone else's. Sorry guys! sweatdrop ))
It's common knowledge that animals in the wild, prey or hunter-alike, resort to several tactics in order to kill or avoid being killed. Some are basic. Others are quite complex. Ambush the weakest member of the pack for an easy kill - now that's common knowledge.
Of course, Evil had already done that - her full belly presenting itself as evidence. She was after something else now, besides an easy kill. From his elevated position, Mock could not only see what was happening at the distance but, thanks to his sand-table, he could also monitor with great precision the events as they were unfolding. Evil and her pack, were going for the Generals.
Let us fight fire with fire. The Captain said to himself, as his left eye acquired an amber glister, and a similar colored surge of energy was instantly discharged through some of the chains. Thirteen of them, to be accurate.
The vermilion demons seemed to be caught on fire, as the energies emanated from Mock reached them through their chains.
The moment Evil rose her paw into the air and began gathering flames in it, the army shifted it's formations to prepare for the (evident) incoming blow. The Cavalry lead by Cagnazzo and Rubicante, sped up and outran (through the flanks) the main force, thus position themselves in front of all the army in a double wall formation. All the thirteen Generals quickly left their "posts" and flew towards this new barrier wall of "hell hounds".
The Generals swiftly reached their intended positions, hovering above the wall of vicious dark beasts and also in a line. Only three of them - Libicocco, Ciriatto, and Calcabrina - were left behind to assist the bulk of the army, thus leaving their former regiments to linger in the far back (they were previously leading the strange octopus-like and amorphous creatures).
All the winged demons and crows were gathering behind the front lines of "hell hounds" and above the main army, spiraling in circles now. In the back of this main army, entirely composed of skeleton warriors, was the last unit of "hell hounds" being mounted by trident-wielding Demons.
The Fiery Tsunami advanced towards the army with uncanny speed. A curtain of fire was suddenly released from the open palms of every General. KaijinKami... Mamorigami... Mock muttered, far away on his throne. The curtain of fire was thin, but that "fire" was only for show. Its true nature was that of a searing Reiryoku barrier, meant to protect from any kind of energy blow, particularly the ones sharing the same elemental attribute as the barrier.
As the dark ominous fires crashed upon the large hemispherical barrier, much like tempestuous waves against rocky shores, most of it was being thrown away back at the caster or to the sides - before fading in the air a few seconds after - while some pierced through the barrier here and there, actually cracking it and making way for more black fire to follow.
MockaDash knew that he was no match for Evil in terms of "fire power" (( fire power... lol... X3 couldn't resist! )), but what he said earlier was not to be taken literally. The "Black Fire" that was able to pierce through the Generals' barrier struck the "hell hounds" first, and only the remnant fire reached the skeleton army behind. But by the time these "leftovers" reached the army, a second similar - though weaker - barrier, conjured by the three Generals that had purposely stayed behind with this intention, completely nullified it.
The already decomposing bodies of the "hell hounds" that fell victim to Evil's flames, were even more torn and shred apart. Still, they were part of an Undead army after all, so one less limb was only going to slow them down, not stop them. More than half of the beasts had one or two limbs completely destroyed, and a portion of these were even missing half of their body, so they would have to drag around on the ground. But actually about a third of them were completely incinerated and reduced to ashes. These ones, would never get up again, and their chains were also reduced to nothing.
Without even a moment of hesitation, the army charged at the pack of dark-fiery wolves. Most of the "hell hounds" were now dragging behind as the skeleton army outran them, but their ranks were quickly being filled by the ones left behind as surrogates, and the Demons armed with tridents were now leading the full army of more than a thousand soldiers. The flying creatures in this army (unnaturally large putrid crows and horned Demons) were closely following them, right above their heads. Of course that some of those soldiers were still far behind, namely the odd-shaped creatures, that were only now reaching the Generals that opted not to charge alongside the army.
Indeed, the Generals stood by, backed up by half of the other flying Demons who also stayed behind, as the engaging forces were trying to surround the enemy pack and pin them.
Fire with Fire...

((Wow, the Captain's here.... Kinda awesome))
This is so stupid..... Rei cursed under her breath and shut her eyes tight. Before the kido spell blew up in her face, the female shinigami had a split second to see that the younger shinigami's also in trouble. Wishing that her plan would work or at least buy them some time, Rei yelled to Sayuri as loud as she was able to without disgracing herself (Oops, too late....) "Close your eyes, Yamazaki!" No time for formality! "Sight will only confuse you; sense the spiritual pressure of the zanpaktou!" Rei had training with dust and smoke before, when she was still among the living. The most you can do in a billow of the dirty thing is to abandone your sight and open all of the other senses a bit wider than usual. In this case, a lot. How ironic it is, to think that the hell she experienced before would reveal itself to be useful now. The world around her turned black as her silver eyes closed, and Rei frowned in concentration as she realized the few small sources of spiritual pressure, Alder's spears, and a much bigger one emitting off a tone of energy and perhaps even anxiety, Sayuri. Target located. Rei ran toward the body of Sayuri's energy, watchful of the spears at the same time and hoping that she won't find the younger girl suffer as much injuries as herself.

( Aw Darn, Evil got some nifty powers and got better control of her bankai way after this started...*grumbles* I'll keep going with this line of thought though since I like her this way too. XD ) ~* Evil Wolf*~Evil's new flaming eyes blinked stupidly at the events that were going on. She was still grinning wickedly in the slow way of hers, her head cocked to one side and her ears straight forward. Her wolves crashed against Mock's own units, heedlessly taking any and all damage that was thrown at them. Being made of only her Black Flames and Reitsu, she could regenerate them over and over as much as she wished. Much like her Black Fire wave from before, they moved like a flood over his troops, still aiming for the generals which were located in the back. While the bulk of her force spear headed directly in the middle of the opposing armies, two branches veered off to attack the flanks and work their way around the opposing side. Evil in the meantime, was still standing back. She was fidgeting now and was swinging her head from side to side. Every so often she'd look up at Mock, sneering at him from her position. Every once in awhile she'd hunch over slightly and release a fresh mass of Black Flame wolves, which would run off to join their fellows who were continually being struck down. Occasionally she'd even stomp her massive paws against the ground, sending earthquake like tremors at the clashing armies, damaging her own wolves as well as Mock's in the process. ~* Captain of Squad 10*~

As both forces clashed, sparks were literally sent flying (as well as bones and other body parts). Evil probably wouldn't know this, but MockaDash was doing nothing more than a gamble. Mock's soldiers could only be destroyed by complete annihilation, since they wouldn't stop no matter the amount of damage they would take. But once a soldier "died", it could not be brought back for the duration of the Bankai - they were as if material components to the release. Evil's "soldiers" were constantly being destroyed, but only to be replaced by new ones made up at the expense of her "pool" of Reiryoku - her potential energy - since no matter how strong you are or how much stamina you might have, they're bound to end at some point.
Evil was not only using her Bankai (which surely, due to her proficiency with it and despite being in a somewhat "berserk mode", could be used efficiently by her and without spending excessive energy) as she was digesting - or at least preventing from escaping from her stomach - another Shinigami. In here resided the gamble (or at least part of it), for Mock was simply wearing down Evil, at the expense of his hellish army.
Both "armies" were engaged in a vicious pitched battle, though the wolves were aiming to move through the army, rather than defeat it in that spot. The skeletons had taken the greatest blow, and almost half of them had been defeated and their chains (linking to Mock's throne) shattered. Also, those "hell hounds" that had withstood the previous "fire tsunami" and took serious damage, were falling one by one. The Demons mounting the other "hell hounds" where still all "intact" - as well as their "steeds" - since being armed with tridents allied to the speed and reflexes provided by the hounds, enabled these soldiers the ability to attack from a flank and immediately retreat. Same could be said of the crows and flying Demons, for they were experts in diving in for the strike, and going up again. Many of the crows however, did burn completely, just by repeatedly getting into contact with the black flames that made up the wolves.
The wolves were now approaching the Generals, that stood in a straight line side-by-side to each other, hovering about 1 meter above ground-level. The army that was escorting them (the remaining flying Demons and all the weird creatures) were positioned behind the wall of thirteen Generals.
Their chains were once again glowing amber.

After her desperate attack, Sayuri turned her attention to the spear that was next to her. Carefully, Sayuri backed away from the danger that the spear posed, but began to focus on Alder after it made no movements. As soon as she had foolishly ignored the spear it began to spin quickly towards her. She backed away quickly, but as soon as she backed away, Alder shot a byakurai towards her. Alder's byakurai hit in front of Sayuri, whipping up all the dirt around her and blinding her with the dust. For a moment Sayuri was filled with terror. If that spear comes for me now, I'll be in trouble! As Sayuri began to panic due to the low visability she heard Rei yell out. "Close your eyes, Yamazaki! Sight will only confuse you; sense the spiritual pressure of the zanpaktou!" She's right! What I'm doing now will get me no where! Placing her trust in Rei, Sayuri shut her eyes and searched for the zanpakuto's spirtual pressure.

~* Evil Wolf*~Evil refused to move from her position, dimly knowing she would be wasting needed energy if she did. The Black Flames coating her body crackled loudly, creating odd shapes as it writhed around itself. She grunts quietly, the sound strange with her flaming body. She was still comfortably full from her Shinigami snack, which incidentally, he was still alive in there since she'd stopped her digestive process. Now her attention was more focused on the fight instead of filling her belly, which was unlucky for Mock. She lowers her head slightly, the throat of her flaming body bulging as she briefly charged an attack. Within a second or two she opened her jaws and fired, blasting a good sized beam directly on his army and her own. While it wasn't as powerful as she could have made it, it would still hopefully do a good amount of damage. She'd been aiming to catch him off guard with his odd shield and decimate a good chunk of his army before he could react. Her Flames waver slightly after the attack, dimming before flaring up again as she releases another wave of wolves from her body. Inside her protective coating she's panting slightly, her ears drooping as her eyes get wider, foam flecking her muzzle. She was starting to get a little tired, since she'd originally intended to nap after eating anyway and had been deprived that. Her Wolves made an awful ruckus as they charged Mock's army yet again, howling and snarling for all they were worth. They were acting like the barbarian armies of old, painting their bodies and screaming as they charged the opposing force to try and unnerve them. Evil wasn't consciously making this connection in her animalistic state, but she did like the sound of her Fire Pack as they descended on their prey. ~* Captain of Squad 10*~

The 13th Captain, was still drenched in blood from head to toes. His own blood. But not blood loss due to his wounds, but from that which rained from the skies. ((Do you still remember? Ages ago... X3 )) Being a bloodkinetic, Mock could expand his "blood pool" and manipulate it at will. The man, quietly sitting on the throne, passive to the fierce battle taking place below, was covered in deep crimson. This gave him that much of a lurid presence.
She has forgotten all about it, haven't she? He said with that creepier and husky tone of voice, seemingly amusing himself in the process as if half of his brain was having a dialogue with the other half. When it rains, water sinks into the earth... What made her think that blood would be any different?
Paying no heed whatsoever to Evil's attack, Mock allowed the portion of his army engaged in deadlock with the wolves, to be burned by her beam of flames. Meanwhile, the rest of his army that was kept in reserve (Generals included), was taking this opportunity to move on and replenish the ranks. The army of wolves pitched against skeletons and Demons had been reduced to half by Evil's attack. Both sides were reduced, and also both sides were already sending reinforcements.
A strange thing happened then. The contingent that was going to reinforce the main army, stopped before reaching it, as the new wolves that Evil spawned was just about to do so. The flying Demons engaged in fierce battle suddenly flew as high as they could in the shortest amount of time possible, and so did the "knights" riding "hell hounds" withdrew to the rear. The skeletons though, stood their ground, and made sure that the fiery wolves would not be able to pass through them.
This was all done in perfect sync, as to make it impossible for Evil to know what was about to happen (and possibly command her wolves to retreat) before it was already taking place. Mock was in total control of his army and its actions, so it was possible for him to mentally give elaborate instructions to all of them in real time. It was like moving an arm for him - When you move an arm, your brain has to process several information and pass it down to several different muscles at the same time and do it with incredible precision and speed, the person moving his arm however, only has to will it. - Likewise, Mock only had to will his armies out of the way, or want them to stand their ground, and before he could even realize it, they were already acting according to any of his immediate thoughts.
At the exact same time that the flying beasts flew high, the hounds ran away, the wolves clashed against broken bone and raw meat, the Generals that stood at a close - yet safe - distance from the fight rose their right arms, a roaring explosion (like none other up to this point) was released upon the battlefield. It didn't came from above or from below, neither from any side imaginable, but from all of them at the same time! The entire area surrounding the gruesome battle taking place, turned into a smoldering cauldron of flames and explosions.
There was a thundering roar followed by a sonic boom, and then... there was silence. Nothing remained.
What caused the explosion, was that same old mixture of his blood-based powers with his fire-based ones. The nature of those two elements do not oppose each other, but the nature of their energies (the first is dark and offensive while the second is light and defensive) do. The blood that was inside the scorched Malebolge earth had risen to the air, violently gushing from within the soil. At the same time - right about when the Generals rose their hands - KaijinKami's "ash" was already spread across that area, and was now forced to explode, getting into contact with the blood now turned to Reiryoku, and producing the fabled chain reaction that almost tenfolded the initial fire/ash blast.
This has taken some toll on Mock's stamina. But it's not like he had a full stomach or wanted to take a nap or anything. Plus, he was quite comfortable in that throne of his.
What do you think she'll do now? Spawn some more of those wolves? He said to his other self and they both laughed hysterically.
His remaining armies - now commanded by the Generals - were fully advancing towards the giant flame wolf that was the Captain-Commander.
(( I took a lot of time - and post space - to explain every detail, but don't forget that all of it is happening at the same time IC. Also, in case you're wondering, the skeletons have all been wiped out by now. And I hope you don't mind when I put in there that your wolves were wiped out as well. I was just basing that in previous posts and in what you've shown of their power. Feel free to make any corrections on your post.
Your move! XP ))

(( Neh, Evil is going to have to go into the fray now. XD *is wanting to use her sexy angel guard* Damnit....)) ~* Evil Wolf*~Evil snarled in her fiery body when the explosion shook the entire area. She skidded backwards a good hundred feet, her flames condescending around her to provide for a better defense. Her canon fodder wolves were whiffed out of existence by his attack as if they were nothing but candles to be extinguished. Her now lone form shivered in it's appearance, the flames looking like they'd died down considerably. There was a prolonged moment of silence as well from her, with only the brief crackling of flames and the stomp of the approaching armies boots/claws/noisy feet as they marched towards her with no resistance. Evil was wheezing now, a small trickle of her own blood coming from one ear. She was tired and just wanted to lie down and sleep now, just leave this battle be and do what she liked now that her animal side was unbridled. She gave a soft whine, which was inaudible to anyone but her, and fidgeted. But then her survival mode kicked in and she saw she'd have to beat down this man if she wanted to be able to do these things. Let me out! I'll tear his armies to shreds! Beast bellowed, causing quite the racket in her skull. Let's have some fun, come on we can decimate them! Why are you just sitting here?! Egged on her Zaigou spirit, demanding yet more bloodshed beneath her claws and fangs. Evil...Wake up now...Stop this... Mumbles her zanpakto spirit, fearing for whatever remained of Evil's sanity. The sudden clamor of voices inside her mind confused the slow wolf, making her step back and shake her fiery head. Even while all this internal dialogue was going on, a much raspier voice was echoing in her head. One more primal than all of them, which was quite a feat considering the form she was in. It demanded she devour, that she do what it said unless she wanted to go completely mad. This voice Evil listened too, her animal mind clamping down on it's message. Suddenly she looked up, her Flames roaring into existence even hotter than before. The ground was literally turned into glass beneath her paws, the heat was so intense. With a snarl she bounded forward, knowing she wanted to tear up his armies herself and damn the consequences. She landed squarely in his main attacking force, swiping at them with her roaring flames of paws and snapping a good many of them up in her jaws, crushing them before feeling them disintegrate from the heat of her flames. ~* Captain of Squad 10*~

The dust still hadn't cleared, so neither Alder nor Oujou could see in the mist. The spears that Alder had placed on the ground took advantage of the now softened soil once again, and stabbed into the ground, making it appear as if Alder left entirely. However, one of the spears stuck up from the ground just a little bit, to make it visible.
The hope here was that, if Rei and Sayuri investigate this spear, that they'll be caught in the center of a four spear attack. The spear that was sticking up was in the dead center of a square shape, formed from the other spears still down below.

Her eyes still closed, Rei ran through the cloud of dust, blind excpet for her sixth sense as guide. Where is Yamazaki- san? Her dark, slim brows tightened as she pinpointed Sayuri's exact location. Rei ran toward her, knowing that one of Alder's spears must be close by. Come on, just stay still a bit longer! A sudden wave of Sayuri's spiritual pressure hit her, and Rei couldn't help but smile with relief. "Yamazaki- san...." Rei said quietly when she felt that she was close enough to the young shinigami. "Don't be alarmed, but it seemed that only Alder's spears remain in this battlefield." Where is he anyways? "So we should deal with this zanpaktou first." Waiting for Sayuri's reply, Rei raised the hand binded by the kido spell in defense ever so slightly, her silver eyes once again closed. Two spears close by and four others formed in a in square in front? Rei wondered to herself as to the meaning of this whole thing; it can all be a trap Alder set up. But once again, where is that male shinigami?

Sayuri, shutting her eyes against the dust, focused on the task at hand. She could feel Alder's zanpakuto's spiritual pressure, but something was wrong. She could tell that two of the spears were fairly close by, which did not suprise her, but four of the spears formed a square. What is he planning? Sayuri thought, a hint of annoyance in her thought. What will he do with that formation? As Sayuri concentrated more on the strange formation she thought about Rei. Rei? Is Rei alright? Sayuri thought, dread in her heart. She didn't doubt Rei, but Rei took more attacks that she did. If she's not alright I don't know what I'll do! Suddenly Sayuri felt a wave of Rei's spiritual pressure come over her. After sighing a breath of relief, Sayuri heard Rei whisper to her."Yamazaki- san....Don't be alarmed, but it seemed that only Alder's spears remain in this battlefield. So we should deal with this zanpaktou first." "Right!" Sayuri said lowly. Carefully Sayuri bent down and prepared to attack.
