I remember in 6th grade when two of my flute friends had a Star Wars duel with their instruments. xD That was fun to watch.

the cheerleaders where throwing mini footballs into the stands and one landed in our sousaphone. the funny thing is we never found it.

One time I took the mouthpiece off my clarinet and buzzed into it like it was a brass instrument and it worked. I moved my fingers up and down the keys and it actually hit different notes... They weren't pretty sounding notes but they were different... lol

i play tuba and yhe case has had 5 kids in it throu out its life! lol

Hmm...a couple things.
Last year, my friend's bari sax just went and ate the arm of one of our french hrons.

No pics, for the band director got pissed at us.
And my flute is now a baseball bat.

Take one cymbal, put it the other sideways so the edge of one is in the dent of the other, and turn them in circles as you push down on them. It makes this strange metal-churning sound, and will annoy the poo out of the pit. It's great. xD

I played bass drum last year . . . well after a competition, me and a quintist traded. I'm only 5' . . . that was torcher. Another time, the 1 other bass drummer pushed me over, making me fall over on my back with the bass drum on. I couldn't get up =_='
This year, I'm the only bass guitar player. Well, a drummer decided to use my bass as a baseball bat. He broke all four strings. And of coarse, it was right before practice too stare But, now that I play bass guitar for marching band, I'm the only 1 in my section and pit, it's great not having any1 to torcher me =D

Sax basketball.
Find a golf ball (or similar-sized object) on the practice field and pick it up. Make sure your band director, assistant band director, marching coordinator, percussion instructor, dance instructor, band captain, field commanders, section leaders, or people otherwise of higher authority than you are not looking, then take aim and try to throw it into the bell of one of your fellow saxophone players.
WARNINGS: May cause scratches or dents to the instrument. Do not attempt with new, professional, or dearly beloved horns.

The Mellophone dance!
1) Place mellophone in right hand
2) Pivot to the right, pelvic thrust two counts
3) Pivot to the left, pelvic thrust two couts
4) Repeat steps 2 and 3.

one girl in my dubble reed class shoved her reed up her nose to get a laugh when she couldn't get it out we all laughed even harder.when the teacher walked in she had to rus her to the nurse. her nose was swolen the rest of the day so she didn't have to play for two weeks.
