Alaska, United States of America.
As he was healed, Ranu screamed out in agony. Cleal over the years, it'd been forgotten he was allergic to healing spells. He felt his radiation creep back as the healing magic Auron would have used to get it came back. He rolled onto his side, still screaming, but softer, more a whimper.

Storm jumped at the screaming. She once again ignored Auron, and crouched over Ranu. Storm gave him a once over, and realized that this was something else entirely. She'd never healed Ranu, not directly, and never knew of his allergy.
Storm bent over him, and spoke quiet clearly, softly and soothingly into his ear. She'd found that many pains were psychological as much as physical.
"You're stronger then this, Ranu, you know you are. We're going to get past this together, okay? Listen to my voice. One...two...three...four...five..."
Storm kept counting soothingly.

Kibo held his hand into the air, and a tiny pink spirit orb floated from his hand.
Kibo: Anita, go find where Storm and Auron went to. Knowing those two, they're probably clinging to life right now.
He chuckled, turning back t the remaining group of Aubry and Johnathan.
Kibo: Alright, nuclear attack in Alaska. Friggin peachy. Oh well, It won't take much snooping to discover that that was an American nuclear weapon. And the security feed...
He tapped his forehead, where a spirit had just planted the "security footage" of the nuclear testing site.
Kibo: Won't take too much to translate this to Aubry's mind, and then it's a breeze to put it to video. Plus, I have personal video of all of those "appearances" Michael cut and copied into his propaganda film, so that'll take care of that. Not to mention from what I've been transmitted from the site, it's physically impossible for a nuclear warhead of that size to travel from Spain, especially with their agreement in NATO's plan to abolish nuclear arms. Don't worry, Michael doesn't know what the hell he's doing.

A voice ripped into Ranu's head. He whimpered, but the softness in it relaxed him. He convulsed a moment as his screaming stopped, but a small trickle of blood told he'd bit his tongue. He slowly stopped panting. Not because it hurt less but because he'd drawn himself into the abyss where his power was usually housed. It was empty. If he was touched, they'd get drawn in too, their mind sitting in there with him.

Storm noted the blood. She pulled the corner of her sleeve over her hand, and went to wipe away the blood...and then the drow found herself suddenly in a big, black empty place. With a floor. Storm whirled in a circle, her footsteps echoing oddly.
"Well...this is different..."

auron smiles as he holds his right arm out, capturing the small spirit orb in his hand "good to see you again, Anita" he says, releasing the orb and chuckling "tell kibo that Storm and Ranu are fine, they are just resting at my chateau here in America, they aren't far from Tortuga" he says, sitting in a chair nearby and locking his hands together in front of his face "now, all that's left is to wait for these two to wake up, and then we can set the plan in motion"

A voice rang out as the dark abyss spiralled softly, forming into an image of the Pearl. It had been designed to sooth Storm. "Why are you here, Storm?" Ranu's voice asked. What stepped from the ships wheel looked like Ranu but seemed.. Blank.

Storm turned back to face the ship. She frowned, and folded her arms across her chest, under her breasts.
"I don't really know. Why don't you tell me? One minuet I was sitting in Auron's castle (how can he afford one, anyway?) and then the next, I'm here."

Two helicopters appeared on the horizon, flying towards the castle. Armed police followed in boats on the sea and in squad cars on land. Now that the enemy was on American soil, Michael's troops were quickly moving into place.
