She watched closely as beams began to shoot up out of the ground around her. She was pleasantly surprised to see them forming well. While she was still feeding chakra to them through the ground she decided to try making the defenseive dome on this attempt as well. This didn't go quite as well for her. The beams didn't seem to want to meet up correctly and finally it just fell apart around her and the wooden beams disappeared.

"Not bad for your first attempt. Just conentrate a bit more chakra into it and I think you'll get it." said the First encouragingly. dEx nodded to him and closed her eyes as she focused on her chakra again. Then she quickly went through the hand seals that he had shown her. "Moku Shouheki no Jutsu!" she called out as she thrusted her hands downward to the ground to perform the technique.

She watched as the wooden beams formed around her again. This time she focused closely and had the beams come together again. dEx smiled as the beams seemed to connect correctly this time. Soon she had a wooden dome surrounding her completely. dEx stopped the technique and the wooden beams disappeared. "That's good for now. You can work on it on your own later to increase the speed of it." said the First kindly.

dEx smiled at him as he walked over to her. "Now it is time for the last technique that I'm going to show you. This is a trapping ninjutsu called Shichuurou no Jutsu." explained the First Hokage. dEx thought that another trapping technique would definitely come in handy. "Is it similiar to the Dense Woodland skill?" she asked before the Hokage began to explain the technique in more detail.

The First Hokage shook his head in response. "Not really. The Dense Woodland still is good for trapping an opponent that is hiding or difficult to get to. The technique that I'm about to teach you is best used to trap your opponent when they are out in the open." replied the First. dEx nodded to him as she wondered what kind of technique it was. She couldn't wait to begin working on it.

"This wood release skill is called Shichuurou no Jutsu. Basically after you form the hand seals you will bring beams of wood out from the ground like you did for the last technique. Only this time you will have the beams combine to form a prision to trap your opponent in." explained the First. Then he began to slowly show her the hand seals for the technique. dEx watched closely until she had them memorized.

Once dEx had the hand seals worked out the First prepared to demonstrate the technique to her. He focused his chakra carefully while she watched him. Then he formed the hand seals quickly. "Shichuurou no Jutsu!" he called out as he quickly put his hand down onto the ground. As his chakra flowed into the ground wooden beams began to rise up from it around dEx.

She looked around at the beams as they rose around her. They looked like they were formed the same way as they were in the defensive technique. The main difference here would be how the beams were combined. That meant that this technique would be able to hold up to fairly strong attacks as well. She would have to make certain that she kept that in mind.

Not only would it be better for holding her opponent in, but also for keeping someone out. The wooden beams began to come around her and soon they formed a prison of wood around her. This made her think a bit of the Indestructible Prision technique that she had learned with Enma. Then the First Hokage stopped the technique and the wood fell away and disappeared.

dEx nodded to the Hokage and smiled. She began to very carefully focus her chakra. Again she would focus first on creating the beams and then on getting them form the prison. dEx began to work her way through the hand seals. They were a bit tricky so she went through carefully and slowly. "Shichuurou no Jutsu!" she called out. Then she crouched down and put her hands to the ground.

As her chakra flowed into the ground she focused on forming the wooden beams. Then she watched as the beams began to grow up around the First Hokage. Then she kept her chakra connected to the beams and she began to move them. Soon she had them connecting to form the prison piece by piece. Finally, she completed the prison around the Hokage and he smiled at her.

"Good. Speed will come with practice." he said as she stopped the technique and the wood fell away around him. Then the First walked over to her again. "I think that is all we can do for you right now. You've grown sufficiently stronger. Now we will work on trying to get you your life back. Go ahead and get some rest. You'll need your strength." said the First with a smile.

When Kumo opened his eyes, all he saw was a seemingly endless white plain. "So this...Is the afterlife?" he asked himself with a light sigh. "So I must be dead...No, I still feel alive..." he mumbled, but shrugged off the feeling.
"Another nin wanders into death...No...Your still alive," A voice murmurred as a large, dark form approached the Sound nin. "Spirit, I am the Sandaime Kazekage, and I wish to grant my knowledge to you."

Kumo blinked, observing the man for several moments, before sighing lightly. "Why give me this knowledge if I may ask?" he quiestioned, trying not to seem rude.
The Kazekage sighed. "In the Living Realm, my body has become nothing but a puppet to another nin...I find it in a way, disgusting. So I wish to pass it on to a living one, who may carry out my skills, not as a puppet, but as a pupil of my own."

The Spider-Nin nodded. That seemed understandable. "And what exactly is your knowledge?" he asked moments later as he turned his gaze back to the man.
The Kazekage grinned. "One of the most feared abilities in Hidden Sand," he whispered before creating several handseals. He opened his mouth and much to Kumo's amazement, a flow of black sand slowly began to pour from the man's maw.
