Dunno. I'm going to try to squeeze life into it:
I'm a music nerd. And I adore making theme songs for my characters. Ko's theme song would be "Scandalous" by Cobra Starship. This would be because...well...that girl is scandalous. Plus, there is a line that says "You're the kind of girl I'd take home to mom if my momma was dead." And that reminds me of Ryu.
I also have fighting songs. Such as Nozomi's current fighting song would be "Miss Love Tantei" by W. The song's rhythm really fits to Nono's movements on the battlefield.
So what about you guys? Do you give your characters theme songs? If so, what are they? If not, what would it sound like? Would it be happy? Depressing? Upbeat? Demonic? That sort of thing.

um, i really don't have any specific song/char match up. not yet, at least. i'll try to play songs that get me in the mood for fighting, so depending on what my chars' style is, i'll either go kind of a more upbeat, punk kinda rock, or a heavy, metal/screamo thing. both work really well for me.
btw, i LOVE music. especially rock. i try to listen to it 24/7. yet, i have no ear for it. can't play at all, either. thats always confused me...whatever. i've always been a big fan of classic rock (70's were the golden age of rock, for sure), but recently i've been getting into some newer bands. mainly jet, foo fighters, and the hives. but, i'll pretty much listen to any rock.

I'm an alternative rock fan. Akira's theme would be "Famous Last Words" by
My Chemical Romance. I never got it with rap music. i can't understand half the things they are saying. I'd rather get screamed at by a metal band.
