"Why wouldn't I?" Jigantro hated answering a question with a question, so he quickly changed his answer, "tea would be fine." Now being dried, he sat down on the couch he slept on before. He eyed the stack of books she moved, but really couldn't understand what it said. "Looks like you've been studying a lot more since I was here last." Figuring out to what might help him know what the hunters were trying to do.

Laying on her bed Desitny stared up at the ceiling and then over to the clock and then back to the ceiling. It went this way for about and hour or so before she finally got up and headed into the kitchen. Despite having put on a pair of sweats and her slippers along with the shirt she had been wearing she could not warm herself up.
Standing in front of the stove she waited impatiently for water to start boiling. The thought of a hot green tea sounded wonderful.
As she stood waiting a white hot pain shot through her. This time it was low in her belly instead of her head. Doubling over as another wave hit she could not even let out a scream before she was groping for something, anything to hold herself up. As she fell to the floor her arm slipped from the edge of the stove and turned the burner up to high. The flames rose around the tea kettle.
Yet another shock hit her as she lay on the ground the only thing that registered in her mind was the smell of smoke. Then she was lost to the darkness of her mind.

Once Jigantro's reply reached her ears, Iana set the second mug down and grabbed another tea bag. Iana then walked into living room to make conversation a bit less strained, in time to hear her guest's comment. She let out a shot chuckle, "I don't think there's a time in my life when I won't be studying something. Sort of what my kind does to keep busy." She paused for a second before finishing that line of thought in a light tone, " I study and you pick pocket."
It was true that there was something new to look into, but she really was always looking into something though usually never as important as this. She leaned against entryway leading to the kitchen, ready for the telltale sign of the water being ready.

((Gah, I give up waiting DX))
Yuuki stared at her grandfather for what seemed like an eternity, her eyes fierce in their gaze. But within them, there was the glimmer of hope, the hope that just maybe, just could connect a little to the one biological family she had.
But he would not move. He did not speak do answer her.
Yuuki shaked her head, her eyes, losing their sparkle for a moment.
"Well, you know how to contact me, grandfather" stressing the last word "I sincerely hope you come tomorrow"
Closing the door silently behind her as she left the office, she sighed.
"Well, that went... better than I had thought. I better get home"
Making her way out to the bottom on the building, she quickly found the dark alley to shoot up into the air from. Except, instead of flying straight home, she stayed there, floating in a type of sitting position, looking out to the city. She hoped that this city would still be here in a year.
Shaking her head once more to clear her thoughts, she darted off in the direction of her apartment.
Landing nimbly on the balcony, she didn't hesitate to move inside and make herself some tea to calm her down. It had already been quickly the interesting day, and there was still a couple more things left to do.
Grabbing her cell phone from the table where she placed it, she dialed one of the only numbers she knew by heart.
"C'mon Destiny... answer your phone..."
((k - I'm just confused of one thing at the moment DX Uh... what time is it? I don't remember if we're at the night of the meeting of still the day before, or even the morning of))

((It is about 4 in the morning before the meeting..)) Destiny's phone rang on the nearby table. She pulled herself through the black hole of her mind back to reality. Lifting her eyelids was harder to do than she had ever remembered. Her phone gave off a shrill ring again. Pulling her further awake. Her belly gnawed at her with unatural pain. Pulling herself off the floor she fell back onto her side.
Another ring.
She pulled herself up enough to drag herself to the table. Grabbing the phone she fell all the way down again. Flipping it open she muttered a small, "Help." before she was no longer speak. She let out a loud scream as the phone fell from her hand and another wave of pain hit her.

Jigantro did't hear what she said after, but maybe it was a good thing he didn't hear her. He didn't even bother asking what she said, he didn't care. He looked back at the books, he knew not of what the titles meant, nor did he want to know what they meant. "Tell me, what exactly is going on at that corporation of yours that has everyone, well everyone who knows of us, into a commotion?" He had a feeling she wouldn't tell the truth, but he would like to hear her answer.

Yuuki's eyes widened as she heard the pain-filled voice over her best friend over the phone. She heard the phone drop onto the ground, and the line go dead.
She stayed frozen for a minute before rushing into action. The one thought in her mind, was that she needed to get to Destiny as fast as she could.
She grabbed her belt and her jacket, before throwing open the windows and jumping out.
Please Destiny, please be ok
It took her a little faster than normal to get to Destiny's apartment due to her speeding across the skies, pushing more and more of her energy into the flying. Yuuki came close to breaking the windows of her friend's apartment.
Her eyes widened once more when she saw her writhing best friend on the ground, her face seemingly contorted in pain.
"DESTINY!" She screamed, rushing over to her.
Quickly, she checked her friends pulse and breathing, to only see how completely erratic they were. Wasting no time, she picked up her friend and brought her over to her bed, thinking that might be more comfortable for her.
"Destiny... is there anything I can do?" Yuuki said in an almost desperate voice.

When she opened her eyes everything was blurred by tears. The pain that shot through her was terrible.
"Yuuki... I... I did something reeeally stupid." She was able to get out through clenched teeth. The pain hit again and each time it stayed longer giveing no time for rest.
"I think I need to get to the hospital!"

"let's not worry about that bit right now ok?" Yuuki siad in a worried voice, "We'll talk about it when you get better, and we're at the hospital. Just hang tight for now, I'll get us there in a jiff."
Yuuki wasted no time in grabbing one of Destiny's coats and throwing it over her shoulders. Thanking the lord for her wind magic, she held Destiny in her arms and sped off into the night from the window.
Following the route she had taken a couple times before, she whizzed down into an alley beside the hospital before rushing into the emergency room. Yuuki ran up to the desk, still holding the gasping Destiny in her arms.
"Please you have to help her!" Yuuki almost-screamed. The look on the nurse's face was more than enough indication that they would get right to work. And they wasted to time. Yuuki followed.
She didn't completely follow everything they were doing, but soon enough Destiny was in a bed, being examined by doctors and nurses, wondering what was wrong, with Yuuki leaning against the wall, hoping the ominous feelings in her mind would soon be gone.

Iana's expression practically skewed in confusion. She never expected such a straight forward question from her guest. This wasn't something she could answer without feeling guilty and ignorantly naive after wards. "You know I can't answer that. You'd have to be part of the corporation to be privy to such 'delicate' information. Why do you want to know anyway?" Right as she finished her own question the high pitched whistle rang through the small apartment, and she obediently went to its call. "I'll be right back," left her before she was before the kettle, lifting it off the now 'off' stove top and poured its contents into the mugs equally before returning to the living room with both mugs and the sugar canister complete with spoons. Setting the sugar down on the cluttered coffee table, she offered Jigantro his tea.

Destiny lay sleeping in the hospital bed. The doctors had to give her high doses of both pain and sleep medications before they could settle her body down enough to acess what was wrong.
A young female doctor carring a folder with Destiny's name on it walked towards Yuuki. Her name tag read Karen Masters OBGYN.
"You are the one who brought her in correct?"
When Yuuki gave a small nod she continued.
"Well none of us have seen anything like this before."
Pulling an x-ray type image out of the folder she held it up to the light.
"From the looks of this image your friend is at least a month pregnant. But the wierd thing is notice the color. Usually it would be alot lighter, meaning live tissue. This is the color that we see from things like forgien objects, dead cells and tissue, basically something that the body needs to rid itself of. Do you have any questions so far?"

Yuuki was still sitting beside her best friend's bedside when the doctor came into the room.
As the doctor lifted the X-Ray image up to the light, even Yuuki could guess what was growing inside her friend. But she could guess what that dead tissue was. Her eyes widened as much as they possibly could and she whirled around to look at Destiny sleeping in the hospital bed.
A vampire baby. She could hardly believe it. What had happened? Was she raped? No... Destiny had said that she did something stupid after all. She couldn't have...?
Yuuki slowly turned herself back towards the doctor. She motioned for her to continue.

Jigantro took the tea and swallowed it in one swig before answering the question. "Like I said before, there has been big talk, especially from those weak hunters I killed earlier." A wry smile crossed his face as he said this. He wondered how long he could push her until she pushed back, but, for some reason, he didn't want to push her. "Eh, I'm pretty bored down there, when can I join?" He didn't know if she would take him seriously, but he was. This was the one thing that would probably put Constance over the edge. "I-" he was interrupted by the cell phone he had stolen earlier, he didn't know anybody's number so he denied the call and put the phone back in his pocket. He didn't say anything else because he forgot what he was going to say.

"Ok." The doctor nodded and continued.
"What it looks like is her body is trying to rid itself of whatever this is but the seemingly dead tissue is resissting even more. That is why she is having such violent painful surges."
Placeing the image back in the folder she tucked it under her arm.
"We have a few options that I would like you to talk to her about, since she has no living family. We can sergically remove it, we can wait and see if her body will expel it by itself, or simply wait and run some more tests. There is also a small chance that it may go away on it's own, her body could simply break it back down and continue as if nothing had happened, but that is a very small chance."

Yuuki continued to listen attentively to the young doctor, but the sense of worry and fear continued tog row in her stomach as she spoke.
It was obvious that the doctor didn't and hopefully would never know what was exactly inside Destiny (though it couldn't be sure the way this was going, Yuuki might have to erase her memory after all this was over), but Yuuki did. A half-vampire half-human child. Such a thing had never existed before, but it was obvious it still carried many prominent vampire characteristics already, and Yuuki was afraid of possibly how prominent those could become during the pregnancy.
Yuuki looked down at her friend again, already she could almost see a small bump in her stomach area. She narrowed her eyes, this was proceeding 30 times faster than it should be. If they didn't do something about it soon, then Destiny would surely be in jeopardy. But, knowing Destiny, would she want to give up her own baby, even though it could cost her her life? Yuuki hoped not, but her best friend was always full of surprises...
"I agree that there is a extremely small chance that her body would expel it on its own, thus immediate action should be taken soon. But, even as her closest friend, I do not believe that I can make a decision to destroy it without first consulting Destiny. I will however, agree for you to run more tests on the tissue before I get her decision."
