"I like sleeping," Idhril pouted. "It's not my fault."

"I think it may have something to do with being bored," Elnara suggested. "After all, she's not in school, she really doesn't have much to do at home when everyone else is at school."

"Oh, there's lots that I can do," Idhril assured Lore with a sweet smile. "I can draw and colour and look at books and play with my dollies and play with Mama's things ..."

Elnara blinked. "That explains a few things," she murmured. "Ah well. I've started teaching her the harp, a bit, but she doesn't practice much when I'm not around, I think. She prefers to have me listen and tell her when she makes mistakes, and how to fix them."

They started down the stairs.

Lin went back glad to find no one had closed the door yet, otherwise she would be most annoyed in her own way. Her arms felt like lead and she only realized why it felt like that when it occured to her she had dragged her stuffed bunny all the way and back again, and to be fair a doll bunny was nearly as big as her. She wondered why Ruel couldn't hear her Angie bunny thump on the ground as she walked in with a thump thump thump of her white angel rabbit.

"Good morning!" Earendil called out brightly as Lin entered the room. "Sleep all right?" With his foot, he pushed out the chair beside him, then put his hand out so that he could give Lin a leg up.

The others at the table all smiled and called out greetings as well.

Lore tried not to laugh, it was kind of amusing partly because it was as if Idhril was trying to do what Elnara did and the fact that Idhril was probably the closest looking to Elnara just made that image pop into his mind.

"Perhaps you need some other things to keep you occupied..." Lore commented with amusement, "I should think on that."

Earendil looked skeptical as he lifted her up and set her on the table next to him. "You look more like you could use a nap than a sit," he commented. "Were you stalking Ada again?"

He frowned. "That's not such a good idea at the moment, I'm afraid. He obviously didn't catch you, you didn't end up with a guard ... but if he had, it would not have gone over well." He sighed. "Do us all - and yourself - a favour. Don't try stalking him while my aunt is here, he's in a very foul mood and I don't want you to suffer for it."

Though, Lore thought that most things had to be done in the supervision of an adult. He should think of some things too, though he wasn't sure of what quite yet.

"Well, I guess it's something to think on while we're here."
