The vampire that had been speaking to Nova waved and went back to his table and continued eating. Well, eating roses like any other Kalika would. Nova scratched the back of his head and sighed. While finishing his rose, he turned to his human and smiled. "He was sure full of questions, huh?" he asked and chuckled softly. He put another petal into his mouth and thought. It probably would have been better if he had chosen a female. He did not know Mitsuki when he chose him, except for his name. It most likely would have turned out the same way as his relationship with Mitsuki. Nova sighed and finished the rose, setting down the stem. He glanced at the human beside him and grinned slightly, upset with himself. Of course, he was dying. There was no one else near him. But, it would have made his father so much happier. It would have been easier to just have the son of the leader to become the next in line. Now it would probably take awhile to find someone who wanted to lead the Kalika Clan. Although, most vampires would want to. Nova could just not see how anyone would want to spend their lives working for the clan and never trully having any fun. "I'm done eating, Mitsuki," Nova mumbled and sat back.

Mitsuki finished the rest of his meal and nods, "Alright. Come on.." He stood up and walked over to the bar. "Thanks." He hands the man the money and walks off. He looked over at Nova as they walk down the dark hall way again. "What's wrong? You sound depressed....." He wonders if it was the roses that made him upset. Did they not taste good?

Nova shook his head violently as he walked beside Mitsuki. He was staring at the ground the whole time they were walking, unable to look at his human. "... I'm not depressed. I'm just in deep thought," he answered and stuffed his hands into his pockets. It was something he would need to talk about, but that would happen later. He did not feel like talking about his problems at the moment. Nova sighed and looked back at Mitsuki. "It really has something to do with you and how you're my 'feeding bag'. I suppose I'll talk once we get to your place..." The vampire rubbed his arms, feeling cold for some reason. Was the amount of warm human blood in him already going down? Impossible... He had just eaten. Grumbling softly to himself, the vampire continued walking.

Mitsuki frowned, Sounds serious... This also brought him to think about his relationship with Nova. Was their relationship more than friendship? He shook his head, He hardly knows me....I know a little bit more on him...but still... He notices the other rubbing his arm as if to get some warmth. He wrapped his arms around Nova and held him tight to get some warmth. "Alright." They began to head back to his place.

Nova gasped slightly at being held. He was so deep in thought that he had forgotten that Mitsuki was with him. How could he have fogotten that? Strange how he felt so protective of the human. It could have been just because he wanted no one else taking his human, but he knew it was more. In his own strange way, he loved Mitsuki. Now, he would not openly say that because he was still confused. It was so weird to feel that way towards someone after having almost one hundred years since the last time he had felt such feelings. In fact, he had forgotten what it felt like to love someone in any way, be it family or lover. He shook his head. His father had shown him little love. The vampire had blocked himself from the rest of the world. He had feared the fact he lived longer than most people and wanted no relations with them. They would eventually die off anyway. But, he had put Mitsuki into a situation such as his. The human would live longer than anyone he knew from his school. He may not have known the feeling, but he would cry when Mimi or Maya died. Nova had known that so well. Losing someone you thought you hated, but you truly loved them as you did others. He stopped walking and looked at Mitsuki.

Mitsuki frowned when he saw the other look up at him. He pulled the other into a quiet and deserted area. He looked straight into Nova's eyes, "Okay, what is wrong...you're starting to worry me." He held on to his shoulders with both hands. He could tell that the other's deep thoughts were starting to affect his emotions.

"You've just like me now... Only, without the need for blood," Nova mumbled and looked at the ground. The only thought on his mind now was Mitsuki. It was like a haunting ghost that kept coming around no matter what he tried to do to get rid of it. Whenever he thought of something, it somehow came to Mitsuki in the end. "You'll live as long as I do... You'll have to suffer like me... Watch the people you love die while you stay the same..." He shook his head and sighed. If he were human, he would have most likely been crying uncontrollably. Good thing for him that he was a vampire and he was capable of controlling such things. Nova hugged himself tightly, feeling weak, like a useless weapon tossed to the side. What was a vampire that felt emotions as a human would? They might as well call themselves humans... He trembled slightly and leaned forward ever so slightly. "I think I need to sit down..."

Mitsuki's eyes widen slightly, but not enough to tell. What Nova said was right, he would live longer. People he knew will die, his teachers except Mr. Zuski and his wife, but other people like Mimi and Maya would die as well. His parents and family would be gone as well. The thought on this, but for some reason it didn't affect him. He closed his eyes and opened them once again. His eyes normal again, he lifted Nova up and carried him the rest of the way home. He was silent as they reached the house. He didn't go inside yet, he placed Nova down to open the door. He opened the door and help Nova sit down once inside. He looked at Nova straight in the eyes and asked, "Is that what is bothering you?"

The way back to Mitsuki's house was unbareably uncomfortable. Nova could not stand the silence, and he felt ten times better when Mitsuki finally spoke. He nodded slightly. "Doesn't it bother you?" he asked. He chuckled slightly when he thought of Maya again. Nova had almost forgotten that she too was a vampire. He looked at the human before him and grinned. "I know she is probably not going to like this, but I think I should tell you... Maya's a vampire too. She's from the Bryony clan," he mumbled and rubbed his eyes. He felt tears there, but there were no tears. Looking over his hand, the vampire grumbled. He felt the need to cry, but he could not. Nova looked at Mitsuki again and sighed, never once looking him in the eyes. It would have made him feel weirder. "I'm sorry I made everything all... Depressing."

Mitsuki sighed and shook his head, "It doesn't bother me, right now. Maybe later on when it actually happens maybe. But right now, I don't feel bothered at all." He smiled as he heard the news, "Ah....who knew the quiet one is a vampire....Then there's Mr. Zuski and his wife..." He shook his head and watched the other wipe the tears away. He sighed and leaned forward kissed his forehead, "Just relax and don't worry about such troublesome things. We are living in the now, lets not worry about the future until it comes."

Nova looked at the human, amazed by the fact he was not disturbed at all. It was a fact he would have to live with. When Nova was truly fifteen years old, all those years ago, he had thought the same thing. He wanted nothing more than to live in the here and now. But, as time wore on, he wondered more and more on the future and how to do things right to make peoples' lives better. Unlike other people who would have looked at the past, Nova was one to look at the future. He wanted to know what would happen, how people would react. It was some how a hobby. Nova returned his thoughts to Mitsuki and blushed when he was kissed. "Living in the now is harder than you think when you're as old as me..." he muttered and frowned. "The future is more interesting than the past and the now. Things happen too quickly in the now, and the past is nothing more than gone. What happened is done, and I worry about what is going to happen."

Mitsuki looked away and sighed, "I would expect much...that's what makes me human, yes I'll later figure out and in fact be sadden, but feeling those feelings right now will not make anything better. It's life. People live and people die, worrying about that and becoming sad over people who are living now won't help the future come any sooner. I rather enjoy the time I have with the people I'm living with now, then be sadden over something like that......I can understand that you lived so long and have a right to feel the way you do. But I haven't and I'm not about to worry about it. I have to have faith and be strong." He looked up at the ceiling and sighed, "So don't worry about me."

Nova looked at Mitsuki and grinned. He was glad the human would not worry about it the way he had. Maybe he was just weird and felt things in strange ways. He wondered how many other vampires might have felt the same way. Nova hugged his human and looked at the wall. "Okay... I'll try not to worry too much," he said. It was nice to have someone there to actually talk to him that way. The only person he had was his father, and even that man rarely spoke to him unless it was about him finding a feeding bag. Nova sat back down on the couch and snuggled into Mitsuki's side.

"Alright. Onwards we go. . . "
He jumped to the next one, standing there perfectly still for a second before walking onto the next. He got to the end of the line before hopping down and beginning to walk casually to the park. Nothing to do but stare at the buildings, Icarus and the moon. It was a change of pace; now he had someone to stare at! He smirked lightly then nodded.
"You're right! Nothing's the same at night. There are more dangers out there. . ."

Icarus followed Armand and watched him as he went to pole to pole until they ended and the vampire jumped down onto the sidewalk. "True, it is more dangerous at night but the day can be just as dangerous." The boy mumbled, he enjoyd watching Armand as he walked but he tried not to because he though it was strange.
