I try to shy away from the sharp instruments and firearms...they tend to leave marks...
I want to see that...no money for it though....looks like it waits till it hits DVD and then its off to blockbuster.

Has anyone here seen Advent Children yet?
There are advantages to being a member of the anime club.
And if you're going to watch it, watch it in Japanese with subtitles. I'm even picking up a few words that way.

*Nani The bad thing to "learning by anime" is that you don't learn how to write it. ^^; *spent a month in Japan* You also don't learn any sort of grammar, plus generally you'd only "learn" informal Japanese, which is bad.

Eh, I'm not trying to learn the language. I've just picked up a few basic words. If I want to learn the actual language, I'll take a course.

I used to be a subtitle only person with watching my anime, but anytime I watch some of them now (save Sailormoon, I can't STAND the english dub) I stray from that. Some like Ghost In The Shell, Bubblegum Crisis and Evangelion I rather like the dub voices and things.
Anybody know if that live action Evangelion movie is ever actually getting made?
Heh, I took a two week Japanese course many moons back... I remember one sentence and I think it is "Where is my pen?"

I believe it was being made in Japan.
Moren- Still, though, be careful with which words you think you're learning. Some words mean different things depending on connotation. ^^; *is also in Japanese 3*

Guess who is actually still alive?! ME! Ha. Hey everybody. I've been off in La-La land lately with school stressing me out and when I came on and saw messages about the guild being revamped, I figured I might as well come on over and check it out and get myself into the swing of things. =]
