Emma paused. He had he-wait, nope. "Then what else would guide you? Rules are logic, and the heart rejects most logic. Let the heart guide you, not your head."

CrimsonRain_Amaya Amaya sighed looking down at her glove covered hand. Her eyes distant and rather depressed. 'I killed many with these hands,' she thought to herself as she clenched her fist, not sure that being here was such a good idea. Than again, there was no one better in earth magic than she was, but she was also a wanted woman. No one knew what she looked like only that she wore black ninja style gear with a solid black and white mask depicting a yin yang, and her hair was the color of fresh fallen snow. Shaking herself from her depression, she watched students run around laughing happily and doing there usual day to day activities. Lacing her fingers together she began to think deeply about what she was planning to do with her life now that she gave up her old gig to teacher here. She didn't know why she decided to leave her other job, it paid well and no one questioned her. But it was a lonely job, no one knew her nor did anyone try to take the time. They were always too scared of what she could do to them for them to get close. Grant paused and watched her... He had asked her for the time but it looked like she was ignoring him... He smiled, and again approached her until he was twenty feet away. He tossed a gust of wind her way to catch her attention, manipulating the wind around him and directing a light, yet unnatural breeze at her. "Howabout you jump of of your skull for a minute and tell me the time!" He grinned.

.::TsukiShe hides behind her dyed hair... 
Tsuki tensed up a little as Amir put his arm around her, surprised at the sudden contact. Normally, someone doing this to her would have received a punch to the head, or if they were lucky, just a rude shove away. But she could not muster up the gall to do this to Amir. 'Why?'
"O-ok..." was all she could manage to utter under the mental confusion she suffered. She smiled back at the grinning Amir and reached her hand out to touch the beast when, suddenly, the bell rang, startling the dream-struck Tsuki.
In her shock she accidentally shoved the gryphon with her hand, not doing much to the creature. Quickly, she withdrew her hand and flinched away, terrified of what the beast might do to her.
...painting her dripping eyes black. Kohana::.

When Chyna heard the bell ring, it startled her slightly, but she quickly stood and put her notebook away. In her head she was a little let down at the fact she didn't get to touch the Gryphon. There's always tomarrow, she assured herself mentally as she slung her bookbag over her shoulder. She smiled and waved goodbye to Phenia as she pushed through the door, wondering if she might see her around the school sometime.
Chyna now knew that after second period, school was over. She walked slowly down to her dorm on the first floor and set her bookbag down on her bed before heading off to Physical Education to find Akira. She hadn't talked to her for a while, or a while in her case.
When she entered the gym, she was slightly confused as no one was in the room. She then saw the class running -with elemental powers of course- on the track field. She casually stepped over towards the doors and sat down by the track, waiting for Jake to dismiss his students so she could talk to Akira. She frowned lightly. Today wasn't very exciting in her mind. An average day...though she was quite satisfied with her elective choice. She was, infact, happy to see Jake up and teaching, which meant he would be her elemental teacher. She smiled inwardly and let the outside air soak into her. She was content at the moment, though she would be happier if Akira's class would end.

Hearing the bell he looked up towards it and smiled a bit. Though he was sure some students, especially those water-types, did not hear it. Putting two fingers in his mouth he blew out a whistle which pierced through everyone's focus, concentration, and thoughts to catch their attention. "Alright people!...Your assignment is to keep working at stamina building especially around your elemental areas. It'll be good training for those of you striving for the Advanced level. Tomorrow we cover Safety, First-Aid training, and CPR training for the days where we don't have the Nurse's around. You're dismissed!"

The whistle that Jake blew startled her a bit, but it made her smile softly as she heard his announcement. She stood and leaned against the wall. If Akira wanted to come to her, then she would. Chyna thought that maybe she wanted to talk to Jake first, anyway. She let out a light sigh and closed her eyes briefly. When she opened them again most people had left the field and were exiting the gym, while some were still on the track.
She searched for Akira but it was hard to distingiush her because of the uniforms. Her eyes fell upon several individuals who could pass for Akira, though she wasn't sure. She had never seen anyone else with Akira's eye color, so she waited to see her face before going to her. Hopefully Akira would notice her, and come to Chyna, instead of Chyna going to Akira.

Akira slowed to a walk and took a few deep breaths as she slowed her heart rate. She flipped her head over and tied her long hair into a loose pony tail. Akira thought about going over to Jake but she was to afraid. She was nervous about what he would say. Did he hear me when he was asleep? She thought to her self. Thats when Akira noticed Chyna. Yes! Saved by the roommate. Akira sauntered over to her friend with a bright smile lighting up her face. "Hey girl." She said in a friendly tone.

As Ben stood there thinking of a proper comeback the bell rang knocking him out of his thoughts, he looks at her and sighs. "I guess you when this time. Well I have to go meet with the other fire teacher I guess. So, I’ll see ya later.” He gives one more of his goofy smiles before running off to find the other fire teacher.

Emma waved after him, smiling to herself. Such a sweet man, both silly, and intelligent. She then headed towards her fellow Air instructor's room.

Sighing she stood and looked down at her black metal watch, "It is (insert appropriate time)," she spoke trying to figure out why he was asking her for the time when there were so many other people about.

One of the Akiras began to make her way towards Chyna, and she hoped it would be her. When she greeted her she met her deep blue eyes and smiled.
"Hey Akira. I was so relieved when you came to me. I thought that I'd have to wait a while incase you wanted to talk to Jake. Why didn't you? Did you get into a fight or something?"
Her voice was drenched with emotion; both curiosity and confusion. Maybe it was just that Akira didn't feel like talking to Jake, was all. She had spent a lot of her time with him while he wasn't doing his best. She shrugged off her mental puzzlement and focused back on Akira. She seemed relieved as well.... Chyna was utterly deep in wonder.

"You know, i'v seen you around..." He paused "What are you doing here? Are you enrolled as a student or a teacher or what? Security guard?" He grinned at the last one and came a little closer to her. "Or maybe you're not supposed to be here at all?" He wondered, stopping a few feet away from her, his voice lower now that he didnt have to call out at a distance.

Akira shrugged. She looked back at Jake her eyes and face showing a deep longing. A longing to call him hers. "Um. We didn't fight...In fact we haven't even talked since he woke up..." Akira looked down with visible disappointment. "I'm kinda too afraid to talk to him and....I'm afraid of what he'll say...About what I said while he was unconscious...That is if he even heard it..." Akira sighed and then faked a smile the best she could. "But what have you been up to? How are your classes?"

She frowned lightly. Though she felt slightly happier when Akira asked her about her classes.
"Well, in my elemental class we all had to be saved from a flood, and in my elective we got to touch a real Gryphon. Though the bell rang before I got my chance, but there's always tomarrow, right?"
She smiled now. Her spirits had lifted, but she couldn't hel but think that Akira's problem was a silly thing to be afriad of. If Akira wanted to talk to her about it, then great. But if not, it was fine with her. She was slightly confused about why she would be afraid, but she pushed the thought aside and kept her smile on her face, waiting for Akira to comment, if she wanted to.
