((And by the way, Selphie: you look really awesome. ><))

Asako looked up in surprise as Kuragari rose from her seat and moved to sit next to Asako herself. I thought... she began tentatively, I thought she... then she saw the look on the vampire's face, and just smiled.

It was a look of uncertainty, like she didn't know if she was wanted here or not. Asako had felt like that, more than a century and a half ago--and though since then she had gained a lot of confidence, she still remembered what it was like to be the odd one out.

She turned a matching grin to Kuragari, banishing all questioning thoughts from her mind: no matter what vibe she had gotten from the vampire earlier, it was quite clear now that she wanted to be friendly. And if there was one thing Asako was good at, it was being friendly.

"Hey, Kuragari-chan," she said, adding on the honorific to show that she was truly friendly. "Why don't you join us! I was just asking this girl here her name. Since we're both her senpai, we have to set good examples in this class, ne?" she added with a laugh.

I hope she understands... Asako thought. If she's willing to reach out to me, then I'm more than willing to be friends with her. I know how tough it can be when you're strange and unwanted...

Getting up Kuragari sat right next to Asako and nodding towards the new girl said, "I'm Kuragari of the Black Clan, nice to meet you." She felt weird saying it and knew she probably sounded unsure but she was a little scared.

"Hello, Deary." Miss Sheatiel knew she would have to n** this one in the bud.
"May I see your note?" She asked innocent enough. Her voice ripped shadar from the note as he finished reading it.
The well trained reflexs acted of their own accord.
Shadar winced almost as if in pain. The black bird snatched the paper and flew out the door. Pointing his left index finger at the escaping bird, he whispered the spell, Perio.
The bird was confined into what looked like a black sphere when it was actully shrunk and more compact. The note was squished and impossible to get out.
"I'm Sorry."
Miss Sheatiel didn't look so unhappy.
"Alright for homework, you and your friend will have to bring in a peice of the Singing Seaweed." Miss Sheatil stomped off to her desk to write the homework down for her student.
Shadar stood unphazed by the teacher instead he narrowed his eyes. He turned and sat in a near by seat.

"Um...Hi! I'm Sari." Sari replied a bit uncertain. She wasn't used to people coming up and introducing themselves. "And this is Faithful." She added gesturing to the black cat with purple eyes sitting on her shoulder. "It's nice to meet you Asako and you too Kuragari." She ended with a smile.

((btw, Sari's eyes are the exact same shade of purple as her cat's. Couldn't find any way to work that into my post biggrin ))

Kuragari nodded towards the cat and sat back in her seat as the teacher called out, "For the first improve I need a few voluntiers."

Kuragari carefully raised her hand, 'ok time to be alittle bit more social.'

"Alright Kuragari come on up, anymore voluntiers?"

((Aha, Kurimuson, you stole Myr-sensei from me~! I was going to do something with the class as soon as I got back from my errands! xD))

Asako grinned at Sari. "It's great to meet you Sari!" she said, trying her best to make the girl (she was undoubtedly new) feel welcome in the class. No scared Freshies on her watch--no matter that she herself could be counted as a Freshie. Ah, well...

She was about to say something more, along the lines of 'welcome to the school' or something of the like, when Mr. Myr asked for some volunteers. When was even more surprising was that, beside her, Kuragari raised her hand.

Asako grinned, excitement filling her golden eyes. Time to make up for yesterday, she thought, and raised her hand high. She looked at the vampire with a grin on her face. Now I'll be able to show off my greatest talent--acting!

Mr. Myr looked delighted when Asako raised her hand--obviously he still hadn't gotten over yesterday. "Come on, anyone else?" he thought. "I need at least one more person!"

Asako turned to encourage Sari. "Come on, Sari-chan~!" she said, pronouncing the 'a' as a long vowel in her excitement. "You should raise your hand, too!"

Jusaku sighed. Damn it, I should have waited., he thought. He saw though the eyes of the paper bird that he was caught, and had extra homework too. He snapped out of the bird's point of view and began reading again. He looked up at the teacher as he was talking about safety with diagrams on the board. He was growing tired of this. He wanted to actually start. His thick skin would protect him. He looked forward to the next class, runes.

(sorry if you want you can decided on the improve)

Kuragari nodded her agreement with Asako and tried to smile but it came out kinda creepy so she stopped. 'Alright I'm not ready for that yet.'

((OMG! sorry i haven't posted in forever! Call of duty 4 is even MORE consuming than halo!))

vincent raised an eyebrow at her response. wow, i never thought about it that way he wrote back, setting it on her desk. "emotions in this school might cloud my ultimate goal. i need to keep focused." he thought, throwing a hateful glare towards acarian.

((thank you, promised! ^_^))

Anne smiled as she read the note. She raised her head, and directed the warm smile at Vincent. He seemed a nice boy, and she was glad she had met him. As the girl looked at him, however, she saw his spiteful look and followed it to Akerian. Puzzled, she wondered what was the deal. But she didn't really worry; High school is always a place where stress and tension between students is normal. And by what she had met of Akerian, and by what she had heard about him, it didn't stun her all that much that he had created a few enemies.

Looking away, her gaze swept through the class, and she saw a familiar head. Jake was sitting a few desks ahead, looking slightly ashen. Now that she saw him, the girl realized he hadn't been in the Languages class. Taking off a small bit of paper, she wrote "Hi there! Is everything ok?", rolled the paper to a little ball, and floated it under the tables, unseen, until his desk, where she made it lift and unroll in front of him.

Sari grinned at how excited Asako was and raised her hand. She wasn't used to people wanting her to do things with them and she wasn't about to refuse to do something someone asked her to do. She walked up to the stage, Faithful still on her shoulder, and waited for further instructions from the teacher.

Asako did a mental dance as Sari also raised her hand. She's a really nice
girl,
she thought with a smile. And, though I don't know how it happened, Kuragari seems to have lightened up a bit--which is always good. Today is so much better than yesterday, to be sure!

Happily, the kitsune followed the new girl up to the stage and looked at the teacher expectantly. She also waved excitedly at Kuragari to follow her up, grinning as the eyes of the rest of the class fell on them. This is good... she thought, her self-centered-ness taking over briefly. I really let myself down yesterday, but now I'll be able to show off my true talent!

Mr. Myr waited until Kuragari had also walked up, then spoke. "Since this is Kuragari's second time up here, why don't we let her pick the scene?" he turned expectantly to the vampire girl. "Well, Kuragari? Give us a good one!" and he smiled.
PostPosted: Sun Jan 06, 2008 10:01 am

"Umm," Kuragari looked alittle startled at picking the scene but nodded and said, "how about a normal scene anyone from the human world has scene. A girl goes up to another girl and her friend saying that the girl stole her boyfriend." Kuragari felt kinda dumb with the idea but she was to scared to come up with something better.

Asako grinned. "Sounds good to me. I'll be the 'boyfriend stealer'." she said, and looked at Sari. She had seen Kuragari act, and she had been pretty good...up until she had gone crazy psycho on the other girl, but Sari was new, and the kitsune had no idea how much ability she had.

Come to think of it... she thought slowly. I should probably be worried about Kuragari, considering what happened yesterday...but I get the feeling that she wouldn't do that to someone she likes...and she seems to be pretty okay with me. Besides...she girl was kinda asking for it.

She positioned herself at the other end of the stage and waited a heartbeat for Sari and Kuragari to work things out amongst themselves. Then, with a confident swagger, she walked over to them. "Hey, Julie." she said with a sneer in her voice. "How's it going?"

((Feel free to backtrack a bit, but I just want to keep things moving--I'm gonna be offline in a couple of days due to exams. ^^;; ))
