Melony woke up later that day, and only fell back asleep. When she did, finally wake up, there was not much noise. While she brushed her teeth and prepared for the day, she began thinking of Reeve, and Neko, who she hated, and then her sister , who was missing, and her brother who seemed to be the only one left there for her........... it frightened her. She walked slowly into the main room, seeing Seph and Tutsumi and someone she didn't remember, or.... didn't know, she wasn't really sure. She stayed a bit in the distance though , sitting on a couch, minding her own business. She curled up sitting there, like Fen fen used to, as she went into thought about her and then sat normally when she was finished looking at the ground, unable to find her own comfort zone in herself right now.

"Aye, the same could be said here. But, back on the previous topic, if we push aside the fact of it boosting our egos...we both did learn a lot from those fights. I remember calling you out on using two particular attacks in every fight, since then I haven't seen you use them again."
Tutsumi chuckled lightly, turning his head toward Seph and giving him a smile.
"But I think there's a much larger issue going around now a days. Inactivity."
Turning back to the forest, he slumped slightly and pouted.
"Even regular members are noticing...and that's not good."

"They haven't been necessary." He said simply. He flicked the cigarette away and it burst to flames, the remaining ash being carried away with the breeze. "It's not up to us what the members do here. They may come and go as they please. Likewise, the Sensei's aren't paid, so we can't really tell them when to stay and when to go. For good or other." His voice was neutral, mainly because he'd been taking advantage of that, himself. "It was unavoidable."

"Cigarettes, Sephiroth?"
It had been a long time since she'd come through the front door, but Nyl could still do so silently.
"I expect a certain affinity for fire from you...but not this."

It'd been a good time since he'd heard that voice. The tone of her voice, though, sobered the occasion. He nodded slowly, releasing an inaudible sigh. "Cigarettes." He paused, then stood up, turning to face her. "I was always told I was too predictable."

Nyl was smiling, just barely. It felt good to be here and as soon as she was sure things were in order, she was either going to bed or into the kitchen.
"You're going to tell me you abandon that silliness when you're back in the medwing." While she was still smiling, it was far from a request. "And then you're going to tell me why you're doing it in the first place."

He blinked. "I don't smoke inside, if that's what you mean." He walked up the steps, nodding a goodbye to Tut before he stepped inside. "And why..?" He frowned. "Because I've learned something I knew was probably true, but refused to acknowledge."

"That smoking will kill you?"
She wanted to be a great deal more friendly, but that would have been, so to speak, unlike her when dealing with Seph.

"We all die at some point, Nyl. Besides, it's not like I'm an operatic tenor." He smiled weakly before he reached up to the cloth that was wrapped around his arm, untied it, and tossed it to her. Unrolled, it was a small, dirty and tattered tank top. The bloodstains on it were plentiful and old. "The blood on that shirt was Hwen's."

Nyl caught the bloody shirt. She knew whose it was before Seph said it, but as she stood there looking at it, raising one eyebrow at the stains, she shook her head.
"Hwen is just as competent as I am. ...Moreso, even. She can do things I can't." She looked up at met Seph's eyes. "This means little."

"I thought so, too, until I found traces of stomach acid. There's a lot of blood on that shirt. A wound to the stomach.." He paused, then sighed. "I know she was skilled at Ijutsu, but a gash deep enough to spill stomach acid.." He pocketed his hands. "You're right, it's hardly proof. But until I saw that.. I assumed she was fine."

"I trust my Shojiki with my life." There was a seriousness in Nyl's voice that hadn't been there before she'd left. "I'm a fool if I don't trust her with her own." She looked at the shirt again. "It's part of this life, being in danger. And this is old. She could very well be fine now."

"I don't know either of those answers. Contrary to the rumors you spread, I don't know everything, Seph." Nyl sat down on a couch. "If she's coming back here, then she will. If not...then she won't. But there's no...no proof of anything."
