He lets his gaze linger on the cat, every bit a portent of bad news in his experience.

Mai looked over and saw Seph sensei and smiled, and then walked over to him. She hugged him , being she hadn't seen him in a while, but didn't say anything. For some strange reason, everything seemed akward, but she was back for good now, she hoped.

Seph froze, his fast-twitch muscles tensed for action. It took him a fraction of a second to realize who was embracing him. He closed his eyes and forced his body to relax. "Hello, Mai." His voice was flat. It seemed all the emotion had left his body and mind.

She looked up at him noticing this and frowned. Her eyes were red when she looked up at him, strangely ominous and the way she said nothing in response or saying hello was also extremly strange for someone like Mai. The question was, hadn't it been sealed away........ and where was her little fox friend......?

Still making his way toward the Academy, Tutsumi took a small rest under a cool tree to take a gaze up toward the stars. He missed those he called friends...those he called family...either by blood, marriage or even friendship alone. His body had grown weaker with time, as did his energy.
He reached into a nap sack and pulled out a package of strawberry waffers, opened it carefully so that crumbs wouldn't attract ants or other insects, and began to munch down on the snack.

Not taking any notice or even seeing Tutsumi, the large bird continued to fly, Melony couldn't see him, but he could easily see them. The bird made a screeching noise as it dove into the trees to avoid view once again from others....

As he continues to look up, he notices Mel's bird fly by, with what seems to be Mel attached to it. Raising an eyebrow, he swiftly follows after the two of them.

The bird realized there was someone following them and shot back into the air and curved off to another part trying to avoid him, flying faster.
"we are being followed....... are you prepared to fight"
The bird asked and Melony nodded yes. Melony's hand filled with a strange glow and she waited, trying to find the person who was following.
"Where is this person?"

Noticing the sudden change in speed and movement, he lowered his energy signature and continued on; it would seem as if a squirrel was following them.

The bird lost the signiture it had recognized and dove into the trees and landed on the ground to relax and take a break. Melony sat there and sighed looking off into the distance.
"You need to give me a break, we've been flying from the dojo and back for hours....."
The bird stated and relaxed
Melony sighed and nodded, and leaned against a tree, standing up and thinking to herself.

From behind the tree, Tutsumi slowly stepped out; with both hands up. He gave Mel a raised eyebrow before nodding to the bird slightly.
"And...why were you two flying out for hours?"

She gulped and saw Tut-kun......
"tut.... kun......."
She said nervously and ran for the bird to fly out again not wanting to answer that question.

He quickly dashed in front of the bird, preventing it from just flying off, and then looked toward Mel's eyes.
"What has gotten you so upset?"

"fen has been missing, I was searching for her, and you aren't goign to stop me......."
She growled and looked away from him, still standing on the ground, the bird watching both of them, too tired to fly anymore from exhaustion.

"...Again? By damn, they really like stealing her away...anyway, I think your bird is a bit too tired to continue flying. Maybe you should hoof it for the rest of the way...or just rest up and continue on once you both have your strength saved up."
