She was unsettled by the glased over look neko gave her. But she quickly tucked and rolled under Neko's attack then swung her sword at his arm.

-=Neko slid his hand up the jo again, and dropped to one knee, moving the jo to intercept the sword. The sword cut into the wood, and should've cut the stick on half, but the sword only became lodged in the weapon while an eerie green-black chakra emanated from it, seeming to move and wrap around the sword, up towards Lina's arm=-

Lina looked in shock, but shook herself out of it. Turning the hilt of the blade and pulling out a machete. She then jumped back and polarised her feet to a tree. "I wouldn't hold that much longer if I were you" she said as the blade began to release chakara at an alarming rate.

The cat continues to watch Reeve from the shadows as he made his way toward the dojo.

Reeve looks over his shoulder, giving an angry sigh.

-=Neko let go of one end of the staff and pointed it at Lina. The green-black chakra surged from the tip of the jo, to Neko's shoulder before surging towards Lina, flinging her own weapon back at her with no movement whatsoever, not a scratch left in the staff=-

Lina dodged the blade, sending a shock strong enough to burn out the exploding scrolls then stared at Neko. More specificly she stared at the strange chakra. She quickly thought up a trick. "Burn bright not hot" she began muttering to herself, bulding up a large amount of energy. Then threw it at neko. It dispersed extremely quick, causing a flash of light and a large amount of static energy to spread out around them.

Ah! Damn it!
-=Neko closed his eyes and grimaced for a moment, his hair starting to stand up a bit. he opened his eyes and wasn't able to see just yet, so his eyes weren't focused on anything at all. he stared at the ground and waited, bringing his left hand onto the jo, to hold it like a sword again=-

Lina looked around then threw a small jolt of energy towards his left while she dashed to the right.

-=Neko began to attack to the left until he heard the soft crackle of grass underfoot to his right. He slung his right arm out, staff in hand, and turned to face her shortly after, still mostly blinded.the staff did something funny as it was swung. it bent, and extended, like it was elastic. It chased after Lina, green chakra surrounding it as it moved to wrap around her from behind, moving very quickly=-

Lina pulled back a few feet and began circling neko, speeding up, dropping Kunai every few feet. Avoiding the staff as best as she could

The cat slowly disappeared again, letting out a soft meow before he had completely vanished.

-=Neko let her circle a few times, the staff spiraling around him. He then quickly changed directions as the end of the staff split into thousands of threads and spread out to become nearly inescapable. If it made contact, it would wrap quickly around Lina to entrap her, in something like a wooden cocoon=-

Lina watched the staff and created multiple weak barriors around her in an attempt to lighten the damage. She began muttering words under her breath, showing no other signs of resistance.

((...I'm just...just thrilled. There's still activity here.
I can't apologize enough for having been away for so long. This semester was just...impossible. Finals will be over in a week and hopefully...hopefully I can go back to being my usual active self around here.))
