ALRIGHT, IT'S DECIDED.
I like this Raigyo Clan. Now I need to decide whether to get a male, or female character. Seems more female inclined than male, lol.

They are noticed by one of the senses and after that they take effect on the mind in a time duration. some genjutsu can work remotely with out actually being seen to start it's effect but those are usually simple visual distortions set to an area to confuse you or Gejtsu based clones rather than the normal ninjutus, they can't hurt you physically or make you feel pain unless you create a custom jutsu where they could, btu even then that pain would be temporary and all traces would leave after the duration of it effect runs out. So Genjutsu are more over a tactical kind of ability to have than combative.

Well, I know all that.
How do you know if it hits or not, or whether someone can justifiably get out of a genjutsu?

If you're talking about the stupid trance genjutsu that are more common to the Sharingan, it'll be on yourself and your opponent to come to an understanding. If you begin a genjutsu with a trigger point on your finger or something, gesture with that finger, and your opponent makes note of it in their next post; it's an obvious connection. Then it also depends on what type of genjutsu, and which senses are used as activation points.

Astra; Hey hey! It's going well for me right now! Got an extension on my paper, and my dumb movie review/sociological analysis of the Pursuit of Happyness has technically been extended to next Tuesday! I'm debating on if I should order some pasta, or just pick up a pizza and drinks soon though. Unhappy tummy. xD
How're you?
