There's no such code as XTML though. xD
There's two main categories of code. Software Development and Web Development. Everything to do with operating systems, applications, et cetera is Software Development. Everything to do primarily with the Internet is Web Development.
C++ is a software development language, along with it's related languages, C# and C++. They're both much too advanced at this point in time however, and web languages are much easier to work with.
Basic web languages include HTML, XHTML, DHTML, CSS, and JavaScript. HTML and XHTML are both basically the same. HTML is the basic type of web code which allows you to break some rules and the web page will still show up correct, for the most part. XHTML is the same as HTML, but every rule has to be followed correctly and all of the syntax has to be perfect. That's what I use for my basic web code. DHTML is a combination of HTML and JavaScript in which something can be interacted with. For instance, the "floating" preview images in the Gaia Shops are made with DHTML, since it's an HTML block you can move using JavaScript. CSS is a styling language. Usually in HTML you'll use tags such as and . However with XHTML, you'll define all styles using CSS, and the HTML will be a basic skeleton. JavaScript is a client-side language which adds interactivity to a page, such as objects disappearing and reappearing, moving objects, simple games, et cetera. Client-side means that the code is stored in the web page itself and needs no other resources to work properly. There's also server-side languages, such as PHP (which I work with mostly) which need to "talk" to the server it's hosted on for certain settings and values. It can also connect to a database, which is like a giiiiiant spreadsheet filled with values that can be used to display a certain value towards a certain user, depending on the row and column you select. For example, in Gaia's database, there's a "gold" table somewhere that has my user id stored in it. In the same row with my user id, there's the value of my gold. That way, whenever I vew a page on gaia, it checks the user id, moves a value over towards the gold, and displays it on my screen.

Not photoshopped, but a person who did both actions at once. Or how about a man cutting off his special area after putting needles completely through it and strangling it with rubber bands? Or how about a charred body which was in a suicide explosion? Or a head that was rolling off of a body, entrails still spilling out? I've had to deal with all of this and much much muuuch more where I mod. In a place that moves faster than the chatterbox, where immaturity and assholery is all that's to be found. Seriously. o.o Modding on Gaia compared to where I am now would be a major blessing. XD <-
