Yea that's completely true.. In the end I'm going to get what I've been striving for all my life. A college education.. hopefully majoring in chemistry or something dealing with baking. All of my life I've been against joining the military, but then I realized it was a great tool to get what I wanted. It just proves the point that sometimes you have to do something you don't want to get where you need to be. In the end it's really not as bad as I thought it would be. Oh yeah, they pay your tuition if you're in the military, don't they? Not a bad deal. Free food (for now), Free housing, Free schooling, Free healthcare, and a steady pay check. You can't really beat that and that was the selling point for me. Even if I did go to college it would've been expensive. There would be no guarantee that what I majored in would get me a job. Atleast this way I can get a degree and if I stay in for 20 years I'll have a retirement paycheck. Yeah, that is a pretty sweet deal. Hopefully you'll never have to hurt anyone to hold up your end of the bargain, though. Well it's a rare thing for a space guy to get deployed. Since we work with satellites and all. If I do deploy I most likely wouldn't have to hurt anyone. Ohh yeah, I suppose you wouldn't be too likely to get into a line of fire. Still, I don't think I could ever choose a career field where it was even a possibility.
Then again, I'm a p***y. xd

I've been considering picking up firearm training once I ding 18, actually. Maybe get a permit even. Not that I'm eager to shoot bitches up, I'm just paranoid and want to eliminate some of the more dumb possibilities to die. Armed robbery, crazy ******** and the likes.
