Ryou stirred after a while, sitting up. He was silent, then reached out and ran a hand along Kira's hair. He was silent, holding his breath, trying to hear if anybody else was awake.

A soft mumbled exscaped sylvias lips.She was half asleep her eyes closed.
Missing the warmth of ryou's body kira moved closer cuddling to him.

Ryou patted Kira's shoulder and slipped quietly from the bed, leaving the room. He felt like a small child in the hallway, trying to find his way in a large place, but quickly used the Millennium Eye to 'see' around him. He avoided passing people, and went down around the 200s. He paused in front of Kat's room, trying to decide if he should go in or not. When he pretended to sleep just then, he had used the Millennium Eye to restore his memory to what it would be if nobody had messed with it at all. He remembered Kat, remembered everything that had happened with Marik.

Kat was in her room flipping threw channels.She was munching on popcorn that a nurse had brought her.She'd rather have pickles for some odd reason but the nurse said there would be some in her lunch so she just had to wait.

Ryou heard the television, and decided to try and talk to her again. He knocked on the door, softly at first but then louder in case she couldn't hear him over the television.

Kat did here the knock and muted the T.V "come in." she said hoping it was her lunch...or someone with chocolate.

Ryou entered silently. "Hello, Kat..." He greeted, standing by the door.

Kat was quiet for a moment before a lightbulb lit up in her head "you rember dont you?" she said.

Ryou nodded silently. "Yes... Just after we got out of there, Bakura messed with my mind. I undid what he had done just now."

Ryou bit his bottom lip, knowing that if he could, he would probably have tears in his eyes at what he was going to say next. "I'm sure you've heard... I'm engaged to Kira now. I told you about Kira, right?" He paused to take a few breaths. "But... I can't help but still love you, Kat. I know that sounds stupid, being engaged to someone and loving someone else, but..." He trailed off, running a hand through his hair.

Ryou went over to the side of the bed and cupped Kat's cheek. "Nobody deserves what happened. And believe me, Kat, you are worth it. I don't want to just forget about you."
