Pen took a deep breath and rubbed her beyond sore shoulder. Though with the addition of Lana gave her new confidence in the mission itself she couldn't let it go to her head.
Still sitting on a crate she lowered her head and stared to the ground. With a serious and rather emotionless tone she spoke up eyes fixated on the earth beneath them.
"Where to now, Commander."

Waffle and Sabe walked back to the group, seeing that Lana was willing to work with them now that she was back to her senses. Sabe was secretly wondering how the other Blackheart members will fight them. Then he remembered that Skotti was with the brainwashed Blackhearts too, and he shuddered with a nervous look on his face. Waffle's eyes shifted to him. "You okay, Sabe? You don't look too good all of a sudden." she asked. "...yeah. I'm fine." he lied, trying to drop his concern to make the statement a little more believable. Waffle didn't buy into it, but didn't call him out on it. "Alright." she said back with a little sincerity.

Lana spoke up "I would go to where they keep the main generator first, we are actually not far away, it's just north from here. Once there, I could plant some C4 and destroy it, that way the magic and magnetic feilds will go down." she said.

(******** this; time skip courtesy of a wizard. I don't have all night long. Parents are forcing me off the computer earlier than 9PM for whatever reason their pea-brains can think of.)
A few minutes later, Waffle and Sabe found themselves following the rest of the group, off to the generator north of the warehouse. One of the two could tell that there was still a divide between Pen and Luciano. They would have to put their squabble aside when facing more Blackheart members. It was only a distraction from their mission.

((Wait, Waffle, did you time skip to the location? Orr?- Because I'm under the impression that we're now at the spot we're supposed to be. lol))
Once there, Luciano made sure his guns were loaded. He said quietly to the group, "Alright, Spread out and then regroup," he pointed to the Map they had, "Here. At this location." Luciano gave the group a nod, signaling them to go ahead. Luciano patted Michelle and Koji on their backs, signifying that they were with him, and then he pulled forward with his gun drawn.

The gang walked through a calm clearing of the forest, the sun shining through the trees around. The wind blew gently and the branches swayed as the clouds cast shadows on the ground.
A whisper came through everybody's ears "Do you feel safe? hehehehehe".

Having received the same old orders, Waffle and Sabe set out. This time they were slightly more careful, wary of any more blinding lights or tanks or anything else that would prove to be a hazard. Things seemed to be okay until they heard whispers. Sabe looked around as if a ghost was out and about, then got suspicious. Already?

Luciano recognized this tactic, as did Michelle. Luciano radioed in to the group, "Everyone, keep together back to back. I request Radio silence. Everyone turn off your radios. Now." Luciano set his on the group, Luciano turned to Michelle and Koji, "Back to back." Luciano and Michelle grabbed Koji and the three of them stood back to back. Luciano would turn the three of them in multiple directions to cover one another.

Imitating what Luciano and his group did, Waffle ended up forming a group of three with Pen and Aly. Sabe was left on his own until someone pulled him into their group to form one of four. All of them had their radios off, and Waffle had her hand on the gun in her belt.

The whisper rang out again "how cute... and futile..." it said.
A blur of color suddenly whipped through the trees, hopping from tree to tree. The blur stopped in a tree near the gang and a very familiar, tattooed, face hopped down from tree.
"I... am the shade" she spoke softly as she spun her crossbow on her finger. "the gentle shadows cast on the ground offer protection from the harsh sun, but these shadows are only a guise for the danger the might lurk within them she said, smiling.

"Why couldn't she have been called cuddles or something less...sinister-ish." Aly muttered to herself as she back pressed against Pen's and Waffle's, eyes scanning the tree tops above. "Although shade doesn't seem that bad, at least it isn't stereotypical like "Shadow" or 'Night'."
Her eyes caught a flicker of movement but she wasn't sure if that was a leaf or Shadow wanna-be. Well she doing one hell of a job. Wait! Is the magic field down or is it on...Arg it would be a crappy way to go knowing you could have, but hadn't known.

Luciano growled to the group, "Everyone keep your backs together. . . Do not let her catch you off guard- She will kill you." he said, keeping his gun drawn. From what he recalled from their last battle, she relied solely on stealth. She needed to be hidden in order to attack. She also relied on mind-tricks- Using your weaknesses against you. . .
Luciano clenched his jaw, he wasn't going to let History repeat itself. He killed her once, he could easily do it again. . he still had that scar on his leg from the poisoned bolt she had shot at him.

"Sorry to tell you Aly," Pen spoke soft, lower tone as she kept her eyes on the Shade. "But I wouldn't judge the codename Shadow just yet."
The way Lila spoke gave Pen a chill down her spine. A sliver of sweat ran down from Pen's forehead as she stood in wait of Lila's next move. Trying to get to Lila was going to be near impossible; as learned with Lana. The woman that confronted them was the Shade, every bit of her. To try to bring out Lila was going to be near suicidal and the slowest route. What scared Pen the most though is that out of all the missions they had, she never saw The Shade in combat. If she fights the same as she deals with men, then we are in huge trouble.
Pen griped her bladed knuckles, ignoring the stab of pain that ran down her arms. Getting into her normal stance still back to back with Waffle and Aly; Pen addressed the Shade.
"Having fun Lila?"

The shade laughed and lifted her fingers up. Upon them dangled three grenade pins, the sun glinting off of them.
"tons..." she said as the three grenades exploded, covering the gang in a poison cloud.
