The nurse knocked on the door and held her breath. "Excuse me, Mr. Tony. I have a message for you."
"You know. I'm really starting to feel sorry for that nurse. She could be hurt by now... or worse." Laura sighed. "Then again... he'll probably kill me. Man I feel like an idiot. I bet the stupid movie is what is making me so sympathetic. . ."

((not much. Cheiko changed her mind about killing Tiffany. Laura escaped the mafia hospital and went for a little voyage. Anthony and Rose are of course, still in the apartment))
"Unnnfhh..." Tony moaned. The knock didn't wake him.

The nurse quietly opened the door and saw him sleeping. "Eh... well I shouldn't wake him." She muttered. She quietly walked over to him and stuck the roses in his hand that was on the floor. She quietly left and gently closed the door behind her. She took a deep breath and returned to her nurse duties.

((if you look back a couple pages, you see Mayhem say that the two were handcuffed to somewhere and wouldn't be able to get into the front))
Tony dropped the roses. He didn't wake up.

((Yeah. I got on your case about it in one post, saying how there was no way that could've happened where there are people in the van watching you and Angel and Tiffany were handcuffed to a hook in the back of the van where it would be impossible to REACH the front of the van, but Bubba took care of it by slamming Angel upside the head and tossing both him and Tiffany into the back again.
Angel and Tiffany are HANDCUFFED TO A HOOK ON THE FLOOR OF THE BACK OF THE VAN. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT.))

Bubba sighed and brought the van to an abrupt halt, surrounded by Kanu's men. "Change of plan," he said with gritted teeth, "Tiffany just needs to be tortured. Beaten. Maimed, possibly. But not..." His voice sounded strained, and it was clear that Bubba was angry. "...killed. Neither of them. Do your worst. This isn't my business anymore. I'm outta here."
Then Bubba stepped out of the van and began to walk away.
