If your character happens to be someone intune with their own spirit
i.e. a dedicated martial artist.. or a shaolin monk or zen monk.. deeply involved in meditation.. or something of the sort..
Write it off as some sort of psychological state of mind. Separating yourself from your physical existence and all that.
Then any sort of plane wouldn't matter to you.. as you could simply focus... and be aware of your existence on other planes of reality/existence.
Thus.. if someone decided to jump planes on you.. you could be right there ready to fight them.

Imperfect-Chaos Dr.Nightz It doesn't matter what your weapon is made of. If you say it's indestructible, then your enemy can't destroy it. Unless they list weapon-destroying as a major ability. So saying your weapon is made of adamantium, is cosmetic. I know you can say your weapon is unbreakable, but that's not how I do things. If my weapon is broken I get it fixed later. But I was still thinking about it. Saying your weapon is made of a material that they haven't properly created yet and might not be the way they want once they do is pretty risky. +nod+ I admit, I get too absorbed in my cynisim sometimes. I decided that for my weapon to work, it'd have to be made of some rediculously strong stuff. So I used marvel comics psudoscience to explain it.

I only ask because even if it were possible you would have to come up with some advance theory as to how you allow such an ability to manifest itself and work in it's purpose.-Xx}} This is an ability of one of my characters. And no, I do not really have to put forth any theory that explains why it works as that would just ruin the magic of it. I can however say that the universe my character comes from is a very materialistic one where there is no concept of a soul or other planes of existance. Thus due to his nature of coming from a world without any of the planar mechanics he can resist it unless it is physically manifested. So while my character may not know what is causing fire balls he sure as hell know's to get out of the way. {{xX-I see your point and how that could work. But as long as you do hold physical shape then even if you reach out beyond the bounds of psionics abilities that still does not prevent it from any physical shape or form that psionics is trying to prevent. So even if you can survive is your character even going to be able to fight against this form of countering?-Xx}}

Anyway how does one negate the forces of psionics of the sort?-Xx}} Simple negation, it's a very easy thing to do. Pseudopsionics (to be distinguished from non-DURR psionics) is a very inefficient piece of s**t, meaning that if a pseudopsionicist is trying to open a door and a mage is trying to shut the door, the door will close and stay closed, because even if a pseudopsionicist can do more than a mage, a mage can do more than a pseudopsionicist with an equal amount of power usage, meaning the pseudopsionicist will inevitably run out of power first in a direct battle. Same goes for normal psionics, actually, telekinesis has functional limits and magic is likely to exceed those; however, telepathy and mental attacks require specific counterspells and likely would be a lot harder for a mage to deal with. You just made all of that up. JUST now. LMFAO!!! You, sir, gain 5,000 :Flex: points and a free ticket to the theme park- :Flextopia:.
