Azurite was startled by the voice and sat up. He looked as she greeted him feeling afraid to say anything then looked around hoping he wasn't in a cell even though he was very familiar with the darkness.

"Rest assured, you are a guest. I specifically requested that you be brought here, to allow you to recover. But now I see you are not pure dark... so the black mist will try to make you such if you sleep." Clapping her hands together, once, Xetrina moved the coral palace to the Material Plane, causing the black mist to vanish, though the room maintained it's dark feel. "This room is attuned to darkness. If you wish to rest here, you may. If you wish to leave, you may. If you wish to wander the palace, you may, as long as you obey the spirits that guard it."

Azurite was beginning to relax and shyly said "I'll just rest for abit longer... if that's okay..." then looked down feeling useless.

"Don't feel bad. It warms my heart to know there are others out there that can wield darkness, without being controlled by it." Xetrina said as she headed for the door. "Remember, you're my guest. As long as you do not use powers that go against an area's attunement, you'll be fine. And just so you know, elemental spirits tend to hang around areas attuned to their elements, so you can use that to tell where you are. Also, if you want, you can donate blood to the palace, but that's your choice. It's mostly whole eaters that wind up donating. It comes in handy when I need to be one with the night." With that last statement, her eyes glowed, and she stepped out.

He laid back down as she stepped out and thought but... my blood is as useless as myself... my blood is cold... my power to control the darkness... shouldn't even belong to me...

Returning to the royal chambers, Xetrina sat down in a small chair. "Nihj, dear... I think I may need to raise the Palace soon." She said. Nihj sat up from the bed they shared from time to time. "The Palace? You have another?" He asked politely. "Yes. I've had access to it for some time, but never bothered with it, due to the large amount of power I would need. It could take me several days to raise it, and it would set the world temporarily off balance several times." She looked down at the floor, wondering if she really should raise the palace. "Don't worry about it for now. Just come to bed. You haven't slept in days."

"I'm useless... I'm nothing.... but a weapon..." Azurite whispered to himself as he slowly fell asleep having a different dream which was a nightmare about his childhood hell.

Akia had been traveling for hours and looked around in confusion..."I knew it...I'm lost again...where am I now?" she sighed in disappointment..."When will I ever not get lost..." She then stopped, gazing at the city towering before her..."I wonder what this place is called...hope they can help me out..." she said to herself and looked around for some kind of sign and saw a crooked sign barely standing from the ground with rigged letters spelling..."M-Mid-gar?" she tried to pernounce with confusion..."Never heard of this place..." she said disappointedly..."Yep...I'm totally lost.." she sighed again and decided to enter the city...hoping someone could help her out...and maybe find somewhere to rest...she was quite weary...Kioni her pet phoenix let out a alarmed squak on her right shoulder, Akia looked to Kioni, her staff in her left hand, "What's wrong Kioni?" she said, trying to comfort him, petting his fiery red and orange feathers with her open right hand...

Azurite woke up after his rest and decided that he wanted to have a look around Midgar so he left a note on the bad after he made my bed and headed down to the first floor then out the door. He walked out of the palace as he looked around then went into a less crowded area where the entrance he came from was seeing a girl walking into Midgar.

Akia couldn't get Kioni to stop crying out in alarm...wondering what was wrong...she looked around...wondering if Kioni had spotted someone, she thought she could see someone in the distance...but wasn't sure...the sun's light was in the way of her eyesight, so she called out nervously..."H-Hello?! Is anyone there?" and the whole while Kioni kept flapping restlessly on her shoulders, crying out, she turned to him again..."Kioni....shh...be quite...there's nothing to be afraid of..." she once again tried to reasure the phoenix, petting its down on its chest with her right hand.

When he saw that the girl who came in through the entrance calling out to someone he was the only one around so he shyly said "Hello..? I'm here..." as Azurite slowly walked forward watching out for the bird on her shoulders. When he walked up to her he looked up and hesitated for abit then asked "Who are you?"

Akia still had the sun in her eyes and couldn't see...but she heard a voice and looked down almost walking into the young boy..."O-Oh...H-Hello there...O-Oh!...I-I'm Akia...Akia Dubenbauch...what's your name?" she said in startlement and surprise...Kioni kept squaking and she turned to him "Kioni! Stop it!" she said in a sudden and surprisingly harsh tone at the bird, the bird stopped, making one last little cryish small squak...and then sat quitely on her shoulder, eyeing the boy with one of its golden eyes..."S-Sorry about that...he's quite restless and protective at times..." she said slightly embarrassed, and used her right hand as a visor to get a better look at the young boy, he had blue hair and wore clothing she did not recognize...he seemed a little ill too...

"I'm Azurite..." he said shyly then watched as the girl tried to tame the bird then began to speak again and said "It's okay... I didn't know I was a threat..." as he continued to look up to her with tired eyes. "I don't know too much about this area but I think I might be able to get you into the palace and ask Xetrina if you can stay there if you don't have a place to stay..." he said then noticed the hat tilted back abit as she used her hand as a visor so he causiously brought to hands up to her head and tilted her hat forward abit by holding boths sides of the hat so the sun would get into her eyes then brought his arms back down to his side and said "That should be better..."

"T-Thanks..." Akia blushed as he tilted her hat and as Kioni gave off a hiss..."Kioni...it's okay, he was just trying to help...." Kioni looked at his companion and then looked away..."Sorry...he is very protective...and doesn't get along with others..." she said once again embarrassed and then replied, "Yes...I do need a place to stay...I'm quite tired from my travel, please lead the way...A-A-zur-rite...?" she tried to pronounce...hoping she didn't pronounce his name wrong...

Azurite kinda flinched once the bird hissed at him but tried to stay calm trying not to startle it. Then he turned around as he walked saying "The palace is not too far, follow me" then led the way with his head lowered abit and hair kinda in the way so the sun would get into his eyes.
