Clow blinked a few times before waking up from what seemed to be a dream, though he found himself outside, lying in the snow. He was somewhat cold, but quickly used his Ho skills to warm up. He must have been out there for the entire day, but he didn't even remember getting out there. Shaking his long red hair which now reached his shoulders, he dusted himself off with the snow, getting up, and standing on a grassy patch of land. His Ho had melted it away. Then he looked around.
"Hmm...quiet..."

Sarya clasped Reeve's hands in hers and gazed into his eyes.
"What did she say? Did she have our baby with her?"
Her eyes looked hopeful, excited, frightened all at the same time.

In the forest shadows slowly began to coalesce, pooling upward defying physics as they took the shape of a cloaked figure. He was wearing a porcelain mask, and as he opened his cloak several other masks appeared, floating out as if held up by shadows.
These gelatinous creatures looked towards their master, and with a simple whistle went on their way, pooling across the ground from shadow to shadow on their way to the dojo. Some of their masks were beaked, others were simply oval in shape. All went with intent.

Fenris had been sitting up on the roof, per usual. She had sensed the strange presences from the forest. They were no one from the dojo. Cautiously, she dropped down from the roof and walked closer to the forest. In the middle of the courtyard, she waited for the presences to come closer.

One of the Beaks, bubbled slightly becoming a four legged beast, its arched its back towards the dojo, its body rippled. Several needles shot forward with horrifying speed shredding the underbrush on their way to the dojo. The others continued along their path, skimming through the shadows.

Fenris spotted the needles ripping through the foliage. Quickly, she acted. Her eyes went black as a large black barrier formed in front of the dojo, protecting it and Fenris from the needles.

After a while yellow eyes looked around from the clearing she had found, slowly peeking out when she felt sure no one had seen her leave. She felt strange before she could even take her training to the third level and decided she was better cutting it out for now. She slowly started walking back towards the dojo, feeling bored and deciding to do something that was more common of her old prankster self... although considering she was surrounded by ninja's and all this time it'd have to be something big and hard to notice.
She walked towards the back of the dojo, hopping through the window she left open in her room. She looked around and began to plan.

Reeve's eyes widen as he notes the barrier's presence outside.
"She said we weren't ready t'have him back...because no one knows how our genetic makeup will mix exactly.."

"How is that any reason to keep our child from us? We live in a place where we are all suppose to help take care of each other, right?"
Sarya's eyes reveal her frustration and start to well up. Slowly she walks backward until she plops down on the bed. She stares at the floor hoping for answers.

They were still in the forest and so had no reason to attack the barrier.

"That may be, but that's still no reason to keep our child from us. If she were really that concerned she would help watch over him here while he was with his parents."
Tears stream down her cheeks as she buries her face in Reeve's shoulder.
"I don't want our child to grow up never knowing who we are."

The barrier fell, taking the needles with it, forcing them against the ground. The needles, along with the shadows, would disappear. Her eyes scanned the forest line carefully, not wanting to take the chance to running straight into a trap.
