"We could do...both?" Maia couldn't decide. "What do you want to do though?" she asked. "If we go somewhere tropical?"

Toby shrugged. "It depends on the place. Once we decide where, we can start planning stuff to do. As long as I'm with you, love, I'm happy."

Maia smiled and stroked Toby's hair. She set her empty mug on the coffee table. "Ready to try sleep?" She asked.

"do you think it's gonna work?" Toby asked, his eyes clearly heavy. Hopefully it would. Hopefully in his arms Maia could get some rest.

"I think so," Maia smiled sleepily. "Let's try." She stood and offered him her hand.

Toby took the hand, deciding to just leave the mugs on the table. He could clean them in the morning. It was time to take advantage of this new sleepiness. The two headed upstairs and, when they pulled up the covers, Toby wrapped his arms around Maia and nuzzled into her. Ah, sleep, yes...

Dari knew that his lover was no morning person. He himself saw no difference between times to wake up, but humans did. A lot. For this reason, Dari had packed a sort of camping-kit for coffee. He had sneaked out of the tent, started a fire, and begun boiling the water. He also had a cheesecloth filter filled with a local's cafe's high-brand coffee. It'd be strong, but it'd be coffee.

Cody started to shift, the smell of the fire waking him up. He sat up groggily and rubbed at his eyes. He noticed Dari wasn't beside him and jumped slightly.
He crawled out of the tent. "Love?"

"Good morning!" Dari chimed as he put the cheese cloth into the pot. "I was making coffee for you. I'm sorry if I woke you." He abandoned the equipment over the fire to crawl over and give Cody a morning kiss.

"Good morning," Cody said. He seemed to perk at the mention of coffee. Coffee on a camping trip?! What a blessing that was. He returned the kiss, giving Dari a smile.
"Want to go hiking later?" he asked.

"Sure," Dari said with a smile, "I'd like to go up to the lookout point and take some pictures." He wrapped his arms around Cody and kissed his ear. "Do you think we could take some of these flowers and plant them inside?"

"We can do that," Cody agreed with a smile. He'd been hoping to take Dari up there, anyway. It was beautiful. He looked to the flowers. "I think we could," he said. "As long as They get enough sunlight there's no reason why they wouldn't do well."

"I could put them out in the back yard at home if they didn't do well inside," Dari said. He reached out and touched a few nearby blooms. He turned back to the coffee then and pulled out the filter with a naked stick, plopping it down in the dirt, and poured them each a mug.
"It's going to be very hot," he warned, offering one out to Cody.

Cody took the mug and waited for it to cool. He gave Dari a grateful smile, though. He really did appreciate the coffee.
"We should go camping more often."

Dari nodded. Camping was special to Cody. He knew that. He also knew that they could only really have this privacy here or at Cody's apartment. He stared off into the distance a moment. Wasn't there so much more to do?
"Can I draw you today?" He turned back and took his first sip. Very hot, but not scalding.
