I've always hated valentine's day. Even when in a relationship I hated it and tried to ignore it because it's purely a "buy me something" holiday. Sure it kinda bugs me I'm single this year but no more than being single bugs me any of day of the year. Everyone else being bummed about the holiday is contagious though.

So, I just woke up from a nightmare about 15 minutes ago. I don't remember much about what happened. The only thing I do remember was that someone I cared for started choking me. I grabbed his wrists and tried to speak, but I couldn't talk. All I could do was grasp for air and cry. Next thing I knew, I woke up staring at the wall in a cold sweat with tears streaming down my face. I tried to take a few deep breaths, but my jaw wouldn't move. I couldn't move anything for the next few minutes. All I could do was cry. I was hoping to sleep in for another hour or so, but now I don't want to sleep...
