{Bobbi .:. Disney Castle .:. Hall of the Cornerstone} Bobbi heaved a silent sigh as the others took her explanation matter-of-factly. She'd been kind of afraid that, maybe, they'd blame her for the way her shard had reacted. But when fuzzy Louis expressed concern that he, and the "real" Louis couldn't possibly be good, the archer bristled a little. No, Louis couldn't be wholly evil. She'd know. Ever since this whole adventure started, her empathic senses have only gotten stronger. And in any case, there was no way the boy who had giggled and teased her so cheerfully and called her nee-san could possibly have a heart pure darkness. Kyle shot down the idea pretty quickly, and voiced some opinions that she shared, but… she couldn't let it lie. However, by the time she got her head wrapped around what she wanted to say, Kyle had asked her a question directly, and she opened her mouth to respond. But then the others started going off on a tangent. …perfect. She concentrated on talking to Kyla's Louis; and only him, though she probably got Kyla in the mix since she had to go through the pictomancer's charm to get to him. . biggrin on't you dare start thinking like that!:. she sent, vehemently, half of her attention on what the others were saying. Tears welled in her eyes as they always did when she vocalized something she felt strongly about, but she fought them down. .:The fact that you even exist, right here, right now, as you are, is proof enough that there is good in Louis; that there is good in you. He is a good person, no matter how deeply down that good might be buried. I've seen it in him, I know it's there!:. Hard on the heels of that message was a memory, shortly after the battle in Hawaii, after Louis had done that dark…whatever it was, when he thought he'd hurt Sayrike*. How distraught he'd been*. How he'd seemed to withdraw* into himself, and her own aborted attempt to offer him comfort. .:So don't you ever doubt that goodness in you, or in him.:.She closed her eyes for a moment, forcing herself to calm down, and took a deep, shaky breath. When she heard Kyle clearing his throat, she opened her eyes and looked up, meeting his gaze and smiling briefly. .:It's fine, I was talking to Kyla's Louis anyway,:. she told the dragoon privately. "As for my shard being able to hear us, that's… a good question. He could hear and see everything that I could during the festival. But right now… I honestly don't know. Shiva's keeping him distracted, I think, but she may have managed to isolate him by now. Heh, ice-olate. Who's the pun master? You need to stop infecting me. But on a serious note, I'd take it to private charms just to be on the safe side. Better safe than sorry."* these are Bobbi's interpretations of the events and in no way, shape, or form represent what actually happened. Hence the links so y'all can see for yourself. 8D

Kyle nodded, and almost instantly, his Louis went invisible to her. Assuming Kyla would do the same, he began to converse over the charms to the other two.
"Okay, so, the plan is based on my previous experience with Louis on the Pearl," he started, looking between the three of them--Joe, Kyla, and Furry-Louis, that is. "I was able to force light energy into his system to flush out the darkness contaminating it. I couldn't access his heart, being that it had natural barriers up, but I could still flood the rest of his body."
"Now, obviously this is a stretch--so the backup plan is still essentially to nuke him, sadly. But what I'm hoping," he continued, tilting his head even as he channeled his thoughts. "Is that, already being in a dive, and the shards themselves being hearts, essentially, then I can purge the shard just as I purged Louis' body."
"I just need to get my hands on him... restrain him in some way. Then with any luck, I can flood the shard with light, burning away any contaminant in the same way the Cornerstone did with me," he said, finishing up and looking at them each, gauging their reactions. "If it works, at best, all is said and done and the shard is purified, or at worst, we separate the shard from the darkness and have to nuke that specifically. If it doesn't work, well, we just deal with it as we deal with anything else."
"Obviously, you two will be down there with Bobbi and I as back up. With any luck, though," he started, now glancing at furry-Louis and angel-Louis. "You two can help. Maybe whatever goodness resides in Bobbi's shard can resonate with the two of you, and you can help pull it out when I'm isolating the darkness."
"Either way, we first need to make sure your shard is in fact purged. Merlin can handle that," he said, looking at Kyla now before glancing at Joe. "What do you say? It's got some risk, but nothing we can't handle if we have to get dirty."

Privately, in his own mind, Joe cursed. Mainly because that meant he'd need to keep a lock on his thoughts even more. Though at least his plan was thought about as not that stupid.
Still, the male stayed seated, shifting to the charms cause it seemed like that's how it was going to play out anyway.
"Sounds fine to me. Might as well do it, make sure everything is safe and whatnot." His train of thought seemed to stop there as he just continued his watching.

Elsa simply nodded as James spoke, continuing to peruse the shelves and glancing back to him every so often to acknowledge that she was paying him attention.
"True, but it does no good to do so," she replied, knowing far too well the issues anxiety could cause. "So rather than worry about why you're here, perhaps think about what you can do while you are? I imagine that might help you progress."

[ Kyla : Disney : Hall of the Cornerstone ]
"...huh?..oh! um..right."
The artist snapped to attention, seeming to realize what Kyle indicated was more then just having Merlin or YenSid stare at her. Swallowing hard, she left the conforting side of the archer and with more then just a little apprehension, the artist stepped forward looking a between Kyle and the two wizards.
"..s.so.. w-what should I do?"
A bitter ol friend, her stammer, returned like a bad cough.
Do they- scan her? Take a peek? Extract him? touch the cornerstone? Zap her with light? Kyla stood there feeling quite on the spot now, feeling she should be able to do something to prove her shard of Louis was indeed intact and not further trouble aeveryone.
"I guess.- when ever you're ready." Best be over with it to they could move on.

[ Kyle ; Yen Sid ; Merlin : Disney : Hall of the Cornerstone ]
"To start, Merlin will have to analyze your heart, much like he did mine earlier," he started, keeping things between himself, Joe, and Kyla. "He'll be looking for any foreign darkness, essentially. If and or when that's cleared up, we'll drop into Bobbi's heart and help her purge her shard."
He turned over to Merlin, who was still standing over by the Cornerstone with Yen Sid, and waved him over. The blue wizard smiled and hurried over, his wand out and ready as he looked at Kyla, his expression warm and comforting.
"This will only take a second, dear," he said as he neared her. "Such a shame I even had to develop magic like this, what with Sora and Riku's issues with Xehanort... anyway, may I?"
After her consent, Merlin simply closed his eyes and began to flick his wand this way and that, over Kyla's head, in front of her chest, in circles as though he were conducting some sort of orchestra. Kyla would have felt the gentlest of sensations envelope her heart, as though a feather were gently grazing skin, and even then, it only lasted for a brief moment. Merlin's arms grew still, he inhaled deeply through his nose, and he finally opened his eyes, smiling.
"Clean as a whistle," he said pleasantly, nodding as he stepped backward to give her some space. "No pesky invaders that I can find, anywho."
"Well, that's settled. Thank you," Kyle said, nodding to Merlin, who nodded back with a smile before walking back to his position next to Yen Sid. The dragoon then look to Bobbi. "Guess that means we're up. Any last questions, anyone?"
[[ Just a small GM to move things along so we don't have to waste time on a simple "yes" post. However, Kyla, if there was something you specifically wanted to ask, you can do so and just say "Before he started", and I can respond likewise. ]]

[Kyla: Disney: Hall of the cornerstone]
"Um.." before he started to wave his magic wand, the girl fidgited with the hem of her skirt, fingers crunching the edges between them.
"...c-could I ask you... while you're 'checking'.. could you tell me how it it's doing in there?" the brutnet asked softly, but the look on the wisened mans face made it clear that she didn't quite ask properly.
"..what I mean is, James, Bobbi and Louis did something for me.. just few minutes ago so... could you please check and see how my heart is doing? Is the condition inside me improving? Thats all I'm asking.."
She couldn't see how far the stain in her body was receading, but the more she was exposed to the corner stone it was making improvements.
The artist wasn't sure how exactly things were for certain, she could only tell by feel. And frankly sdhe felt very fragile truthfully on the inside. Like having just come out of surgery, she felt raw, the lingering sensation of the other vistors was like a nagging thought in both her mind and chest.
Just thnking about it, she swore she could feel the imprint of someone touching the surface of that secret place her heart that everyone has.
It hadn't been very long, and now they were about to go through it all over again so, she had to be sure she was ready and recovered enough to face Bobbi's Louis. For all she knew, he could attack her in a way she wasn't aware of.
"Also, when this is over I'll gladly take that spell of yours before we leave... thank you very much in advance." in case she didn't get to say later.
When it was over Kyla eagerly awaited Merlin response to her previous question.
"..so.. am I good to go sir?"

[ Merlin : Disney : Hall of the Cornerstone ]
Merlin's face scrunched up somewhat at Kyla's inquiry before he began, even after she clarified. Still, though, he nodded before getting to work.
When he finished, and before he walked away, he gave her a small smile, adding in an aside toward her in between his louder responses. "Your heart seems fine. I cannot vouch for its strength or frailty, but there are no inherent cracks in the armor, as it were."
As he stepped back alongside Yen Sid, his brows were initially furrowed in thought--she would take the spell? Why, the most recent spell he'd mentioned was his heart scan, and that had taken years to develop, there was certainly no way he could simply--
--then he realized she was talking about the rejuvenation spell from a few minutes prior. The expression softened and he nodded softly to himself, acknowledging his own understanding as the quartet before him would soon be getting to work.
However, then he was left pondering by her awkward choice of phrasing.
Did she want the spell directly after I finished? Or simply before they left...?
His brows furrowed again, and he couldn't help but stroke his beard, staring at the ground in thought.

{Bobbi .:. Disney Castle .:. Hall of the Cornerstone}
As the Louises disappeared, Bobbi moved over to a nearby wall and leaned against it, arms crossed as she watched her friends talking. It was really, really weird watching a conversation happen without being able to hear the words, or even seeing mouths move. Just slight changes in facial expressions, glancing from one to another, and sometimes to people that weren't even visible. She itched to know what they were saying, but she told her curiosity to go take a long walk off a short cliff.
And then Kyla spoke up and Merlin came over and Bobbi's curiosity came back tenfold, though from what was said aloud and done afterwards she could infer that Merlin was essentially X-raying Kyla's heart. Apparently Doctor Merlin declared Kyla fit to return to active duty, because he smiled at the pictomancer and rejoined Yen Sid by the Cornerstone. When Kyle looked over to her, Bobbi's heart started pounding, and she felt her palms start to sweat as she shoved off from the wall to rejoin the group. She absently rubbed her palms against her tunic, then clenched her hands into fists and crossed her arms again, hands tucked into her armpits.
"Yeah: should I be sitting down for this?" Her tone was jovial, if shaking a bit, though the question was only partially rhetorical. Every other time she'd been in a Dive—well, willfully in a Dive (all two of them)—she'd been sitting first, as had Kyla and Kuro in the most recent one. She tried to smile, but her face felt stiff, and she dropped the expression quickly, inhaling deeply through her nose.
She noticed the tremulous quality to her tone, and she realized she was afraid. She really, really didn't want to return to the demented version of Louis, though she longed with all of her heart to make sure Shiva was okay. The two sane Louises were a breath of fresh air, and she severely wanted the little kid Louis who shipped her with everything ever back, but…
"But?" There shouldn't be a "but!" I don't get scared, I get angry, unless there's snakes. I should be all full of righteous wrath and gung-ho about going in there and eradicating the dark bits of my Louis. So why am I afraid? The images of what he'd been doing in her heart came back to her in flashes, and she felt her muscles tensing. That was why she was afraid; she couldn't handle what he'd become. But it was okay now; she had help. She had people who'd dealt with their dark versions of Louis before. She'd helped Kyla with her own personal darkness. She could do this. They could do this.
Just breathe. Following her own advice, Bobbi breathed in deeply through her nose again, and held the breath until her lungs ached. Then, she let the breath out slowly, and opened eyes she hadn't noticed closing to look at the others. A tremulous smile crossed her face, and she forced her muscles to relax, stood up straight, and met the eyes of each of her friends.
"I'm ready whenever y'all are."

"Yeah, probably. Couldn't hurt to form a meditation circle or something, like what we had before," he said, nodding to Kyla and Joe. "Though probably won't be as intensive, so no need to get others unless you'd like."
"I'll need a bit to meditate and re-align anyway," he said, pulling himself down to sit cross-legged on the marble floor. It was curiously warm to the touch, he noticed; probably an effect of the light. "That's... something else to talk about, I guess."
He laughed a bit, sheepishly scratching his head before sighing and closing his eyes, keeping his hands on his knees as he maintained his breathing.

Joe stayed as he was. He was already sitting on the ground, legs crossed, arms crossed...he was pretty much ready already. He even nodded to confirm that he was, indeed, ready to begin whenever everyone was ready.
He was hoping this wouldn't be too hard, what was about to happen. The quicker, the better. In his opinion, at least.

"Okay. Okay," Bobbi said, blowing a nervous sigh before she sank to the floor, cross-legged. It didn't take her long to settle; she'd spent many, many hours on the floor for whatever reason. She counted her blessings that the marble wasn't cold; she could handle sitting on hard surfaces, but if it was cold and seeping through her clothing she'd be very, very cranky in a few minutes.
It took her a moment of shifting a bit to make sure her ankle bones weren't pressed uncomfortably against the hard marble floor. Once she'd wriggled into a comfortable position, Kyle's words caught up with her.
"Re-align?" she asked, cocking her head to one side. "D'you need a minute for that, or…?"

By the time Bobbi finally settled in, Kyle was just finishing up--so when she asked her question, he sighed--not at her, but in completion. When he opened his eyes, the oak browns of his irises were suddenly bright violets instead. His eyes had looked like that on a few occasions, so the three of them might have recognized the look, but he still gave a sheepish scratch of his head.
"Well, uh... okay, so, remember the heart-explosion thing from earlier? It revealed something else," he said, tilting his head back and forth, trying to decide how to word it. Finally, he gave an exasperated sigh. "Ultima wasn't supposed to be my summon. When she clung to me, she suppressed the original formless spirit. When my heart opened up, it got free, which is how we discovered it."
"Ultima confessed, but rather than part ways with her, or the spirit that still... felt like it wanted to help, Merlin was able to work with the two of them and fuse them. Ultima's body and mind, but the spirit's magic," he explained. "So Light was never meant to be my main element--it's actually Time. I can still tap into it, though, just takes a bit to... well, like I said, realign."
There was silence.
"This universe is kind of weird."

Seeing the violet of Kyle's irises gave Bobbi a bit of a start. She blinked, but managed to not be too distracted by the color change. Her brow creased a little as she nodded, then smoothed as she smiled at the dragoon's last remark, and Joe's immediate reaction to it.
"Personally I think 'weird' is an understatement. 'Downright ******** crazy' is what I'd call it. Or loopy as s**t. Either or."
