Halloween: Why would I ever bother? I got better s**t to do than click, wait, and click again. Like fantasize over the idea of colonizing Antarctica, creating a self-sufficient communist nation (so no poverty or bullshit from the UN!), kidnapping millions of retards/bigots/social conservatives/etc from the rest of the world and killing them for kicks as well as improving everyone's quality of life.
Either that or think of good plot and/or webcomic material, but y'know...

The event: I don't know, I'm actually having loads of fun (now that I know how it works). Plus, the Wolf skins are pretty sexy! D; But I didn't get the one I was hoping for!

@Styk: Oh come on, don't give me that s**t. People are free to spout their opinions until they use said opinions to hurt other people and make them miserable. By then, they are no longer protected by free speech and are fair game. As for what the Supreme Court says on bigots, they can go lick my balls - they know the WBC is a hate group yet the so-called highest 'justice-upholding' court gives them the greenlight to spread hate and trolling.

So my mom woke me up this morning to tell me that my great grandparents have been doing poor in health lately (apparently they haven't been able to wake my grandpa up in the morning, he's completely un responsive and he's been blacking out and falling down hurting himself.. and my grandma's been self-medicating for her health problems and they think she might be mixing things she shouldn't..) My mom told me to call in and get out of work tomorrow so we can go down to visit with them before anything gets worse... so needless to say I kind of feel like s**t today.
Styk, would you mind telling the people in my contest thread that I'm extending my contests since I won't be around much this weekend to work with it?
Hope everyone else is having a better weekend than I am~

@Koji: I hope will be preying for your great grandparents. I understand exactly what you're going through Koji. I'm in a similar boat.
My grandmother (the person I live with) was rushed to the hospital tuesday and has offically (as of last night) been diagnsed with liver cancer. They're cutting out the "cancerous mass" tonight. I haven't been able to so much as go home much less she her in the hospital the way she is.
Side Note: In fair warning, if the worst comes....it may be a while before I'll be able to come back online. At this point it kills me to have to come into work but I have no other choice....

@Turtle: *hug* thanks. Sorry to hear about what you're going through. I really hope things get better <3 My grandpa on my mother's side was diagnosed with Lymphoma about a year and a half ago, and after going through kemo for a while they said he was cancer free and he's been doing well ever since.

about my great grand parents: When we went to visit with them it was a good day. Everyone was on their proper medication and they were both involved in the conversation and such. Thankfully their children live closer to them than my family so they've been helping to take care of them. The only thing that seemed different about this visit was that they couldn't make as much of their usual badass Puerto Rican food because they have to watch their sodium and fat intake and such.
more crap: worst. Halloween. ever. -_-
got screwed over at a car rental place and by my school's financial aid department, then got screwed out of hanging out with friends and getting to wear a costume... it was a long crappy day, and I didn't even get to enjoy the holiday.
@Hocus Pocus: could somebody post in my contest? I know people are lurking by the poll count, but I don't want to keep double posting to get attention.

@ Koji Bear: [Super Hugs!] I'm really glad to hear that they're doing much better, but I'm sorry your Halloween sucked. . . I wish I could give you my candy. Candy makes everything better!
I went trick-or-treating with my Aunt and my cousins, and even though I hit the same houses as they did, I still wound up getting more candy than they did Lol. :'3 I wouldn't mind sharing with you guys, though- Oh, and JAYsus? : / I don't have any Candy Corn. You cool with Skittles? I've got a s**t ton of those.

Lol Well, my Halloween was perfect! Sadly I didn't dress up, I just wore my usual attire and people still thought it was a "Cool costume" (I wore my favourite pants, one of my graphic tees, my new hat that I got on Friday, the jacket I tricked out, my hoodie under it, and I wore my goggles on my head). lol

I participated in a costume contest at work on Halloween and another contest that consisted of decorating our boss's cubicles. I won my boss third place with my haunted crime scene decorations. Sadly there is still no word as to who won the costume contest. I dressed as a newborn country vampire complete with a black straw cowboy with a large white skull and cross bone painted on, boots, chrome fangs and blood EVERYWHERE!!!! xd
I do feel a little bad about my costume though. During lunch I went up to subway and scared the crap out of the girl behind the counter. Apparently the blood looked real. xd
The Rps: Where did everyone disappear too?? sad
Update on my grandmother's condition: I'm pretty sure I put my foot in my mouth as far as she is concerned. I got a call last night shortly after dinner and was told that they finished draining the bile out of her liver and are taking her into chemo today. I don't know what to do with myself. At this point I think I'm in denial...or the shock of it hasn't set in. I can't go up to the hospital to see her today because of the chemo (the doctor won't let me up to see her....go ******** figure). I can't go into work today. I'm just not in the mood to deal with the Occupy Where-ever people and angry bank customers with fees they didn't deserve or did deserve but are too greedy to admit their own mistakes. stare
I need to get the hell away from the financial world...

Your Grandmother:. . . [Hugs] My suggestion to get your mind off of it? Put on music- preferably your favourite band- play a game (I like to play zOMG and blast some Lady Gaga when I'm stressed. . . which is every week that I watch my cousins. . . lol), or draw. Just totally just get lost in it all and don't think on it for a while. Or you could RP, or hang out with your boyfriend. . My girlfriend calms me down when I'm upset. It works everytime.
