Seph glanced over the top of his mug, mid-sip. He sat his mug down and crossed his arms. "You didn't listen to a single word I just said, did you? My spiel about standing by your convictions? I believe I used the phrase 'tough apples.'"

Alice stayed perfectly still for a long moment before sighed. She stood up and headed out the kitchen. "Thank you for the tea, Sephiroth." Leaving her mug untouched, she left the dojo and departed to the forest.

Lina walked back from town, having gone to the marketplace out in gambino looking for more random relics that might have turned up. She shook her head looking at the random trinkets she'd found. Most of which seemed to be mixed in with garage sale junk piles which always seemed worthless and just would pile up in places. She looked at the most interesting item she had found, it was another amplifier crystal, only this one seemed to have a curse on it similar to the last one she had found.
"Guess since they look similar and they have protection on them it must mean something.... if only I knew what" she muttered as she walked towards the entrance.

Reeve sits in the dojo hallway, still up against the wall. Neither Sarya nor Aven had moved, so it seemed to him that between the two was a good place to be, in order to keep an eye on both. That, and Aven's presence had kind of sucked the energy out of him, much like knowing that there's a bad report card in the mail your parents just checked.

Iri is out on the front porch, curled up in one of the chairs. Her knees are brought forward, feet on the seat, and her arms wrapped around her legs. Both wings are wrapped around her body for warmth. Though one couldn't tell through the curtain of feathers, her head is resting on her knees and her eyes are closed. She's lightly dozing.

The cat sitting on the back of the couch was awake long before Aven was. His yellow eyes fixed themselves on Reeve. Slowly his tail twitched back and forth as though he was deep in thought. Aven, on the other hand, stirs in her sleep. Memories are playing in her dreams of days long since past. Fellow angels preparing for the war to come. Friends, family, brothers and sisters in arms. Quietly the fade as she wakes. Her eyes slowly open and come into focus. With a quick stretch she sits up and glances around the room.

Reeve glances up at the cat, his eyes locking into the yellow spheres of his eyes.
"And what are you looking at, exactly?"

The Cat meowed softly and continued to watch Reeve intently. After Reeve had spoke, Aven too had fixed her eyes on him.
