Kochiyo: It's not. Three games of XIII are being worked on before XII is even done and released. Kinda weird if you ask me. confused

FFXII is not out in the US, it is out in Japan though. It will be released in October in the US.

Malee: Yeah, I know that. I just find it strange because usually they wait until it's been released in the US before making any mention or huge progress on the next one. In fact, most of the FF games are a few years inbetween. o-o

Well, it will probably be awhile before FFXIII is released. But because its on a next gen console, Square might have wanted to ride that wave to make sure fans knew that they were up to something for the system.
I mean, that clip may totally change by the time FFXIII is released. From what I read it was actually a game for the PS2, but was moved up to the PS3. FFXII has been in production for years it seems. But because it has been released in Japan, Square probably felt they needed something new to present at E3.

Juliet Erika Daae A highly respected gaming magazine has reported in a section that Sqaure is planning to Remake FF7. The fact that's it's supposed to be highly respected wouldn't look to good to report on something false. The statement that the President of Square made was during E3 at the showing of the FF7 clip. I would love to be wrong though >.>!

A Lone Dream Chaser Didn't think XII was even out yet anywhere. I played a demo disk, my friend had ^^; I'm not sure where they got it from. So yeah, I think it's out in Japan, is it not? *was reading someone who was translating in LJ before*o_o
