Promise you our love will carry on
I have 10k but I'm saving up for a ghost cape and one of those bat things from the halloween event.
I wonder if Akilla's ever going to enstate that minimum posting rule. I haven't even checked to see if things have gotten better.
until you turn eternal, we belong

I'm good. I've been cracking down on the bare-bones thread creation here in the guild. Playing the bad guy, basically. Regardless of it being technically official, Ally and Shanna and I agreed on it, and until Akilla posts a yea or nay on minimum posting requirements, I'm going to go ahead and go with what we talked about because it's kinda getting ridiculous.

Warned member: Lil_JaLs: 11/19/2007 Reason: Lack of detail in her opening post and refusal to change it in the amply extended time allotted to her.

Ally, don't you think it should mention somewhere in the rules that people need to create their threads in the right subforum. It doesn't have to be a rule because it's kinda confusing and I know sometimes we mods move things around a lot, but constant repetition of it should be warnable. I can't count on two hands how many times some people have done it consistently. Not that I want to warn them now of it, but in the future, people should be more considerate of the crew's time and the members' rights to a coherent guild. I think something should also be mentioned about members trying to comply with reasonable requests from the crew. If it's a debate and the author of the thread didn't supply enough information or simply just quoted right from the source in the first post without other information, and a crew member requests that they post links or original information in a certain amount of time, etc etc... This is just an example, but I still think something should be said in or near the rules about it.
P.S. I also think it would be a good idea if members could bring up grievances over things they've been warned about with just the crew members. We could make a new thread about it somewhere in the subforums or even in the opening forum.

I have an idea. Why don't we make a "Spirit Chatterbox" subforum, with holiday stuff, contests, and whatnot. It would also be sort of like a junk subforum, where people can kind of bond better. Everything would be a bit off topic. I know in the past, the holiday/contest stuff has tanked miserably, so maybe we need to amp up the GSG spirit some. No pun intended. rofl We could do guild awards, secret santa stuff, happy birthday/unbirthday gift exchange, have one thread designated to advertisements, etc. I know some of this is stuff we've talked against before, but I think it'd work.
