xXAbraxasXx {{xX-The true and simple fact that the problem lies in the tournament itself. Because any being is allowed to enter. Thus, beings beyond that of the nature of human and greater sense of mind and power are far advanced against humans of the such. Thus, already there is no mortal or physical being that can win this tournament. I'm sorry that it is the way the tournament is but that is just how it has bin allowed. Though it is very complicated and educational I do enjoy learning all I can about psionics but if it were against the rules everything would much more fair as bluntly stated.-Xx}} Ahahahahaha but no. For one, characters like that are generally, at one level, practically made of magic. Therefore, simple anti-magic countermeasures can pretty much ******** them up. Ascending beyond the limits of flesh and blood, for instance, generally means you're becoming a semi-incorporeal being of pure energy which links itself to physical form for convenience, which means that an unconventional ethereally-targeted dispersing anti-magic targeted at their magical presence will ******** THEM UP.

Yet, I rather just rule out psionics completely and not fight with them.-Xx}} There is a reason why a number of people give their characters the ability to negate some of the more absurd things people try to do. I have a character entered in this with no magical abilities at all and relies upon brute strength, speed and mobility, and tatics to win him the day. But at the same time he has the innate ability to negate special powers that do not have physical manifestations.

I remember fighting someone that had a few counter skills. Now that I mention it she is somewhat a teacher. The skill that she used against me in a training fight was a skill called bide, and I think there was few ways to deactavaite with out hurting your self.

By limiting what happens to physical manifestations upon the material plane that we exist within. That way they can't do something to an alternate you on some other plane and say you die. Or planeshift you to another one, or mentally control you.

< smile EXAMPLE(:> Not sure. Maybe it's just the monitor I'm working with at the moment, maybe it's the .:+- type characters, something about it. The red is nice though. I haven't a problem with colors in general, hell I've practically memorized Hex Code. I prefer the minimalist approach.

Random Note of the Moment: Deity can understand someone saying that some matches are bound t'be unfair, due to the circumstances of such a large tournament...Deity is undoubtedly going to be accused of cheating at some point or another, due to his character's high strength and speed.
Deity cannot say much in the direction of planar psionics and all that fluffiness...he's never seen it used, and thus cannot justly form an opinion on it. He really couldn't care much less anyhow....nothing is unavoidable, and if it is unavoidable, Deity's ******** ignoring it. He hates ignoring attacks (and usually doesn't), and taking a hit when he has no other choice is perfectly fine....but an overall unavoidable attack is godmodding, and Deity has anti-godmodding to counter. Because.
...Deity's also entering only one character. < <;;
