Serenity stopped her lesson with the phantoms. Most of them were whimpering, and one of them just stared ahead blankly, spittle slowly dribbling from his mouth. She smiled, and her smile turned into a wicked grin as she felt another enter the castle above them. "Jack is back." She sang in a cute little voice. The prisoners flinched from the voice. They knew what laid behind it. She left the cave. Nobody saw her go.

Paradox bowed respectfully. "It is one of the best I can make. The edge should never dull, but it the sword can be broken by too much pressure." He told her simply. The sword was weakest at the tip, but strengthened as it neared the hilt. It was the way of this sword.

He would scratch his chin a moment with an index finger as he begins upon his way out of the room. "If he doesn't come back, I've got a feeling I'm going to have to deal with Set longer than I should have to."

While Katherine was upstairs he would smile watching Jack head out of the door. "A little late for dealing with things this time around arn't you?" He looked back to Paradox with a smile, "He is quite dangerous to have around you know."

((edited)) Katherine looked over to Paradox and shook her head. "It is the only thing i have left of Aiden, i truely can't see putting it in anyones hands or even useing it again myself, it means a lot to me."

Paradox thought about it for a second, but eventually shook his head. "Very well. I understand holding a relic of somebody you trusted and loved." He said it as a fact. There was little emotion at all in his voice if there was any at all.

Serenity's eyes locked on Jack. The girl's smile widened an inch before she was cutting the distance between them, skipping gracefully. She didn't slow as she neared Jack. She went straight pass him. "The Jack O the Lantern is a merry old fool. He trips all over himself just to falls on his face. Chaos is his rule and destruction is his lace. To dance with Jack O the lantern." She sung softly as she skipped past him. She could taunt him, and there was little he could do.

"Loved." She agrees as she brought the old blade from its place and looked over it. She set it down carefully on the table then. She looked back to Paradox. "For some reason i have a feeling you wanted to ask me something." She spoke quite seriousily.

Katherine reached out and touched his arm. "Please Paradox ask me." She spoke her purple eyes looking up to him. They held a number of things none of them good. She was worried.

Paradox sighed, as he carefully moved his hand so her own hand wouldn't touch anything dangerous. "Remember to avoid touching me. It's not as safe as some people seem to think." He told her carefully. The general wrapped the cloak around him tighter. None of his skin ever showed, and there was a reason for it. "What happened that night you were kidnapped. I never saw anybody catch you. You just walked out, and poof."

Serenity frowned at him, following after him. The fire jumped to her clothes, and jumped to other places until she was a walking torch. "Your a big meanie," she whined to the large man. Two limbs moved themselves from the girl shaped fire and crossed themselves in front of her chest. "And you smoke." She added, as if it was twice as bad as the first. Strangely, there was nobody around.

He would stop after she does, and there was a good twenty or so feet between them. He squats low, his hands coming forward. Within the palms of his hands would glow a pair of bright blue lights. This would continue a moment until they stretch, the lights forming a line. Before long he was now holding a straight line of azure light. His left hand lowers from the weapon, his right not moving, as the weapon is now held horizontally. A line extends in both directions from right above his hand so that it is a blade guard. What an odd weapon. "Let's go." Is all he would say, as though he is not surprised in the least bit. He waits for her.
