The way the stores are being handled is stupid. The building we're currently in was empty but we rented it out so as not to lose too much business in the area. It cost them over a million to restore it, none of which we'll get reimbursed for, and they want the shelves stocked full throughout these last few weeks (we move on December first.) Our new store is being stocked with all-new product. The products in this store (we're still getting trucks, wtf, stop sending s**t) will all have to be sorted, inventory'd, boxed, and shipped to other stores. Why they didn't stop the trucks November 1st and then just discount anything left the last week, I don't know. So literally in GM we're struggling to stock all this s**t with half our crew stocking the NEW store, and rumor has it our last day here, we are still getting a (albeit smaller) truck in.
HEY CORPORATE. OUR CUSTOMERS ARE NOT GOING TO BUY ALL THIS s**t. WE DO NOT NEED THIS s**t. STOP. FOR THE LOVE OF CHRIST.
But yeah I've mostly been in General Merch and Rose, the Second, has suddenly become a bitchy do-nothing like Tom (the First), like it's some kind of requirement for heading the department. Tom is over at the new store.
Oh, and even though I really like GM and I'm there three or four days a week, they hired two people to fill the open positions at the new store. Even though I'm trained in it and have broken down trucks on my own (our s**t comes plastic-wrapped on pallets with grocery s**t mixed in; I cut the boxes free and sort through it all), I was not even offered the position. WHAT IN THE ******** IS WRONG WITH THIS ******** STORE?? WOULDN'T YOU ASK THE "SUB" IF SHE WANTED THE POSITION? ********. YOU. ******** YOU, ********.
And I was on the front end yesterday when it decided to sleet, and I have holes in my shoes because I am stubborn, so I ducttaped them shut but our parking lot is old and potholed and water pools four inches deep in several places, so I was soaked to my ankles. It was freezing cold. And the only other two sackers were this p***y guy who "didn't bring my coat today, whoops" and then Mai, this four foot tall, adorable furby of an Asian, and the wind about blew her over when she did a carry out, so I took both of their turns on top of my own, so I was out there two and a half hours before someone else capable of doing it came in. I felt awesome, though, because it sucked SO ******** HARD and I was utterly SOAKED because freezing rain thinks it's awesome to fall sideways and splatter me all over, but Mai was safe and warm and p***y guy was harrassed endlessly by customers for letting the girl do it.
At one point I was bawling because it hurt cos it was so cold, and the raindrops/ice stung (Naz are p***y, too), and this guy came up to me, took my shoulder, and thanked me for bringing in carts. And that had me sobbing all the more cos it was so nice to be appreciated, instead of customers sneering at me "do you have any dry carts?" like everyone else did. We only have maybe 200 carts and so yeah, b***h, they are ALL WET. Do not go shopping in the RAIN if you don't want wet carts. DO I LOOK LIKE - WITH MY PANTS DRIPPING ON THE FLOOR AND LITTLE FLECKS OF ICE IN MY HAIR - I GIVE A ******** IF YOUR CART IS DAMP? GO SIT ON A HOT IRON, YOU SHITTY EXCUSE FOR A HUMAN BEING.
But then Kat came to spend my lunch with me so I could get dry clothes, and it was so nice n_n We ate Sonic's and chilled in the car. heart
I've been really.. weird the past couple of days. Like, I hate work but I want more hours (I'll end with 42 this upcoming week, I think) and I keep.. like, pushing myself. I have only one day off next week and it's not until Friday. Which is okay because my days off.. I just feel blah and bitchy. I dunno, I think I'm just tired.
@Cassy: I'm glad you got sale things. heart I got Gatorades for 50 cents each and Pringles for a dollah. <3

Naz you are mot a p***y. You are.the nicest, most hardworking wiman on the entire ******** planet and im glad someone showed you hey appreciated your work.
Also hat is dumb what your stores are doing, and even dumber hat they did not offer you the position. It didnt come with higher pay, did it? If so that is extra shitty and i swear im going to have to come down there and smack some bitches. :/
And are all of your customers so retarded? Dry carts? They want then dry, put rolls of paper towels mext to them and let them do it ******** hell tbe people near you, man.

Lol so i forgot that midnight premiere means its on tbursday- not friday night. But ill just ask to take off thurs a half hour early, hop on the bus and take it to campus before biking to the cinema.
Also it started snowing today. Some big flakes and little chips that melt before hitting the ground.
Im worried about sunday bevause i havent filled out adjusted hours cuz of snow yet. Hopefully there is no snow on the ground or not a lot by sunday.otherwise i dont really have a way to get to and from work. Can figure it out on thurs.
I am cold a.d tired and sick of it being so ******** dark at five oclock already. Less sunshine makes me depressed. ********.

Short shift tomorrow, probably spent finishing up the truck on my own and facing. s**t, some days I hate facing DX But others it's awesome. I get to dust.
Planning on seeing Deathly Hallows Friday morning, as early as their earliest showings. I don't think I could do a midnight showing anyway - I'm getting too old for it, I think lol XD I fall dead asleep at around 11 these days.
