I started to play megaman games when the second came out, the first one never made it officially to mexico, so after I finished the third pne I found the japanese famicom game, and I thought mega man 2 was hard... original mega man is just as frustrating as the xbox ninja gaiden is. fond memories of megaman... gutsman is a staple guy, I agree, but other staple guys who people sometimes forget (no, I am not mentioning the hard hats) are the "block" monsters, you know, the ones with the cyclopedian eye and would transform themselves in pieces and go from side to side of the screen.

This conversation has brought back a lot of fond memories smile

Why nit start now? 2d fighters is what it is all about!

Street fighter all the way! Ryu is the stereotype of the 2d fighter now, and I cant say how much I have enjoyed playing them!
Street alpha 3 is the ultimate 2d fighting game ever!

And to not wander too much off topic, Id steal youyr head thinghie :p the one that makes it look like upside down hairlocks :p

Guilty gear is good, but KOF ended up being too much of a combo game at the end :p They could really get you on one combo and pretty much take away all your energy, which made this game as balanced as any SF VS xmen version was... heavily unbalanced.

it's not supposed to be balanced. it's supposed to be a noob slaughter.

anywho, I'm currently arguing with carrem over what I saw on the youtube playthroughs of guilty gear 2. (check the thread in the videogame forums)
