What it means by given is when you are training with a sensai and you're finished, they estimate what the outcome of your training was and adjust it according to what you did, you make the basic outline of your profile stats and everything, but they determine what should be increased depending on what you have done before you recieved your level 3nodding

Well don't be getting to Savvy with it, it is changing really soon, it may only be minor, but try not to get too cozy with what it is, or don't strain yourself to understand the current battlesystem as it should be made clear once the game system is completed 3nodding
