So? Isn't that a pretty good strategy, as those tend to be the better shows? Plus, what's wrong with it getting licensed. I mean, I will concede that I, for all my endorsing and wanting DVDs and such, dislike 4kids. But what's wrong with other companies like ADV, Geneon, or Funimation getting the series'?
Why? Because I have a vested interest in watching said shows in their original form.
Then buy the DVDs. Funimation has licensed plenty of adult shows that aren't out yet, and a few shows already that have gone right to DVD and stayed in their original form, so to speak. Completely original if you're watching the Japanese voice track. Spiral, Kitty Grade, and Fruits Basket went right to DVD, and naturally were unedited. They've also licenced Samurai 7 and Basilisk, which aren't out yet.
Seriously... they're re-dubbing all the old DBZ that Pioneer edited and never released un-cut and giving us un-cut versions...
All the shows they have on CN have uncut DVDs with Japanese voice tracks...
Funi is a great company. I don't see a problem.
