Heh...allow me. I'm sorry if I'm prying. As much as I love that girl, I'm accustomed to going around and picking up the peices of people's broken hearts...or limbs in some cases. I was worried about you the other night...:::pouring the wine for himself, and topping off Luke while he was at it:::
that screaming match you had with her was impressive, though, no one but me has ever yelled her like that before. I thought she was plotting your doom...

I'm afraid not. Even as child growing up... who would tell a demigoddess no? That's part of the reason she is the way she is, I think. I mean, yeah, I did my best trying to steer her in the right direction but... I guess I had to grow up at the same time as her. Could be TOO busy being grown up.

Well, number one - If last night bothered her? Princess needs to wake up. I may be the first person to have given her a piece of my mind, but I swear to God, I won't be the last. People in here? They don't take that kind of s**t.
And number two - It shouldn't be your job to watch her, K. I mean, I've only known her like a month now, and already, even I can see that she does whatever she damn well pleases.
*Luke doesn't say any of this harshly - it's too early for that. It's all said, simple, matter-o-fact.*

Yes well...
It'd certainly been nice seeing someone put her in her place, or at least try. I'd be greatful if she learned a thing or two in here. After all, we come to the Brink for a reason right?

Let me assure you my friend, I am just as confused about that fact as you are. I've heard of all of you growing up, learning the legend, but I have not once heard any mention of an attack on this place, or anything called a Seraphim.

Alright... I dunno how much you've heard, but the Seraphim... *Luke's face tightens and shakes a little in revulsion...and some hate.* Is a ********. He's a ******** pscyho. He's this demon *Luke used the term with biting sarcasm* who's got it out for every person who comes in here.

*Luke's frowning deeply. Even he doesn't know the whole story.* He's got something against Tavin. He talked all dramatic about how there's a war coming. How he's gonna ******** this place up, unless we get on his side. He said something about wanting this place...
*Luke can't help it. He flinches a little as memory reminds him of the physical pain of their altercation. How easily the Seraphim tore into him.* There was more, but... I can't remember....
*But Luke'll be damned if he's gonna take up his time thinking about that. He shakes it away and focuses on the present.*
*He looks at K.* But he goes after Maggie? ********' Maggie?? *He's not furious yet, but he's getting there.* She's like 5 foot tall, weighs like 10 pounds. He went after her ******** kid. That's <********> up. And I swear to God...

*Luke shakes his head, becoming increasingly annoyed, upset, and pissed off all over again.* I dunno... I mean, Tavin saved Maggie and Will last night. Don't ask me how, but that's what she said.
As for what we're doing? I don't know. Cora said something about learning powers that can save this place. Like if we work at it, we can stand a chance.
*Luke's talking, but he's not convincing himself.* *He sighs again.* But... man, I'm tough, and I'm pretty fast. But this guy just... It was like I was nothing. Just blew me away...
*Then Luke tells of his biggest concern.* The worst part is. If he can get to Maggie and Will, he can get to anybody he wants to outside here.
