*Chis had finished with all his classes for the day and had gone to the gym to help with the decorations. Miss Watson had them on ladders and stringing up purple and orange lights. He couldn't even get to the fried chicken on the table....so near, yet so far. He looked at it longingly.*

Billy sighed heavily.
"Will you lighten up please? If we're together... this is a prerequisite."
And he firmly grasped Teddy's hand in his own as they start to pass the new kid, Bart.

WHERE IS ACHILLES?
The town could not be more than a mile away. Achilles had made great distance by walking the direct route; across the intertstate he had traveled on, along the quiet country roads and across a few yards that sported quaint homes with fences and yapping dogs that had alerted a few home owners of the blond teen trespassing in their property for a short cut.
Achilles paid little attention to the shouts and the barking dogs. To him, it was almost calm...relaxing. The fresh air so far away from a major metropolis. He hated the smells of the city Midvale from the moment he arrived in this time. The loud sounds and the exhaust of the vehicles burned his nose horribly.
He missed the fresh air and desired it again. It was a reason he enjoyed the woods outside of the school campus. It was why he was enjoying this journey.
He looked up as he found himself walking past a small park, where a group of children were tossing a ball back and forth across the freshly mown greens. He looked closer and it was a football, the same he played with alongside his own classmates. He was not aware the game was played outside of schools for pure enjoyment. It made him miss his friends and teammates.
It made him miss the bright face of that little redheaded kid who coined his nickname of "Killer".
As he stopped and watched, one of the all boys missed catching the football and the ball sailed past him and landed with a thud at Achilles's feet. He bent down to pick it up when he heard one of the boys call out, "Hey man, little help?"
Achilles just now noticed just how young these boys were. younger than Wally had been. Ten...twelve years old at the most. The boy held his hands out and Achilles reared back and tossed the ball, holding back greatly because of his strength, and the boy managed to catch it but the force still sent him on his backside.
"I am sorry!" Achilles called out and he jogged up to help the kid to his feet with his buddies hurrying over. "Are you alright?"
"Yeah! That was an awesome throw!"
"Is that good?" Achilles frowned, still unused to modern slang.
"It was great!" The diminutive boy cried. "You're on our team!"
"Hey, I want him on our side!" Another boy called out.
The first boy turned and rolled his eyes. "You already have your brother on your team. You got a bigger guy, so now we have him!" The boy clapped Achilles on the arm and then looked up at him eagerly. "You in?"
Achilles was unable to help but find himself smiling.
He set his bag down.
"I'm in."

Bart seeing Billy and Teddy decides he needs to warn them about Cade. He goes right up to them.
" Hey guys if you're on your way back to the dorms be careful. There's this new kid there named Cade.. he's a jedi and pulling all sorts of those evil jedi mind tricks.. It's not fair. He doesn't ask your permission or nothing.. he just likes to mess with your head and then laughs at you..."
Bart then looks down..
"I should know... I'm his new room mate.."

Billy blinked.
"A Jedi? Seriously? I didn't know Hero High allowed Jedi to attend this school."
Billy looked at Teddy.
"I heard this school had like a serious rivalry going with Jedi High or somethin'."

x _______________________________________________ Teddy paled slightly, growing nervous as he felt Billy take his hand. It was so small...and if he held onto it, everyone would know. But he wanted to hold it. He liked having Billy touching him somehow at all times. He wished he could hold all of him, just wrap his arms around him all the time, but that would be cumbersome.

He wasn't too worried about a Jedi, or his mind tricks. He wouldn't find much roaming about Teddy's mind besides dinosaurs, being awesome and muscular, and dirty thoughts about Billy. Have fun with that bro.

He then looked T "Bart"

" Oh um.. okay? If you don't mind me asking this.... are you guys like a couple? Cause right now you look like one."
Bart hoped that he didn't offend them with the question... it just ...well, it seemed obivious.. He noticed some of the jocks looking at the three of them but tried to pay them no attention. Sure he was asked to join the team because he was fast... but he said no... it's not like he had anything in common with any of the jocks. He just wished he could go into town and maybe find a nice cafe with a poetry slam contest. Yeah, that would be cool. The jocks continued to stare at them.
" You guys don't mind if I hang out with you for awhile.. I mean I just don't get a long with jocks.."
The young speedster laughed nerviously.
