Terra Branford    "..So then.." The one who was so silently sitting without a single word the entire time, suddenly began to speak up. "You are willing to take this even greater risk of running off to some ARK you truly don't know exist's, or for the fact that it may very well be one massive trap for those who go? You would only be killing your selves sooner. I don't for a moment trust this, nor would I want to go abandon the world of all these people, and all the children who barely got a start. Those that are innocent should at all cost's, be saved. If everyone stays, we have a fighting chance to win against this threat. My world's enemy was very powerful, too. Toward the end, he had become that of a God, our world was nearly destroyed by him. But, we never gave up..And we won..The second we all here,today, split up is when we lose. I won't be giving up on the life here, even if I had to go against this creature alone, I would die with the honor of doing everything I could to save them.."
Isabel sat there, listening to everyone's opinions was hard to listen to, especially Roy's. It was hard to believe what she was about to say even for herself. "....You wouldn't be alone.." The Angel of Serenity spoke now. "I want a place where my family will be safe and happy as well, more then anything...But at the same time, I couldn't abandon everyone. You all know what I am, it's not a job, It's what I was born to be. I am the Angel of Life, and where there is death, I'll be there. Should such a terrible thing happen, and everyone was lost, I could be there to restore the life lost. I may not be perfect..I know that...But I would do whatever it took to save lives.."
"My, so eager to die...It's always the hero's that die first.." Celina said to the two lady's.Other then that, she would say nothing more.
".....I have to agree with Terra and Isabel..In my case, humans may not be the kindest people in the world, but I would never abandon them or let anything harm them..I want to protect them too..Honestly, do you really believe you will be safe in this ARK you plan to go to? As Terra said, you don't know if it is safe or if it even exist's. So what if it was a trap, and we who stayed to fight against this threat win? Do you even know if you will be able to come back? You don't....Staying together, and fighting together is the best action..." Came Azura's thoughts on the matter. "...I think I would go..I mean, there isn't really much I could do to help but get in the way...If it is real, AND safe, then a new start sounds good to me..I would love to go out with out worries of being eaten alive by some monster out there.." Ariel said suddenly..And so, another spoke, the most shyest of the group, and also the one who had avoided going inside for so long and unknown to most of the people here. "...Can I just ask...When you state new world, do you mean..Another world those who choose to go to are..transported to? " Olivia seemed a lot more open to these strange idea's. "...Not..that I want to go there..I agree with the other's on fighting together.."

" FAILED!!! So your giving in just like that you are going to abandon hope? This world is dying yes but its is our world, we don't even know if it will be here or what that thing will actually do it just destroy the world itself.. and you are aren;t wrong family is first but there has to be a better way.... soko's angry yells slowly faded to a almost despaired wimpier....... and he sat back down..

Pyrrhus spoke softly: what if we managed to find it,m the Centra;s destructo thingy, i might be able to help replicate a world portal spell and send it somewhere else, i mean it would need the way it worked altered a lot bur i had to use such methods to get back to gaia, it could probably work th i mean

Zack Fair "Embrace your dreams, and, whatever happens, protect your SOLDIER honor."   "Wait, is this an actual NEW world? I thought you were referring to Gaia being the New World after being purged?" Stark asked.
"Right right right--I guess I didn't clarify that. The "New World" would be Gaia, it's only called "new" in a symbolic way, meaning it's Gaia after all the life was taken away." Zack explained, making sure everyone knew what he meant by "New World."
"I don't care if your "new world" is the Hell! I'm not doing this. Zack, you can't seriously think this is a good idea."
"Don't you care about Unisha, Jake? Don't you want to make a world where Kaden and Aiko can grow up without HAVING to learn how to fight? They can just be kids? Don't you want that for your two kids?"
"I have more than two now."
"...That wasn't really my point."
"Look, we need to agree on this. Agree on boarding the ARK. I don't necessarily want to leave anyone behind."
"There's not gonna be an agreement!"
"...Tch..." Cloud's fist clenched. "Zack... How.... Damn it! I can't do this! I can't just abandon this world!"

"I know it's messed up... but this is OUR world. The people here don't deserve to die...!"
"...Look, I can persuade Giovanni to allow to children as priority on the ARK so they can be saved," Zack said, turning to Terra. "Is that enough to change your mind?"

"Shut up!" Cloud retorted, quite a signature line from him.
"Hey!" Zack said, his eyes narrowing as he stood, Cloud already standing as well. "I'm not gonna let you die. You're GOING on that ARK, whether it's conscious or not!" He said, his hand going to grip his Buster Sword's handle.
Cloud's hand went to the Tsurugi's handle, as he met Zack's gaze with the same intensity. "...Try it."
Then, the two of them were shoved back by a sudden force, away from each other, as Nero himself appeared in-between them. "ENOUGH..." His voice boomed out, creating an echo effect to coincide with the power of the voice, all of which stemmed from his power alone, not his physique, clearly. "Stop behaving like CHILDREN... It's giving me a HEADACHE."
"...Nero, with your power, you could-"
"No," Nero said, knowing what he was going to ask already. "...I can't. I cannot meddle in the affairs of mortals too much, or catastrophic events the likes of which outweigh these events would occur. And even if I were to, "The Beast," as the Cetra call it, is made from the Planet's Energy. Similar to how Mako Reactors use the energy, the Cetra made this creature out of the Planet's Energy, the Lifestream, itself. The Beast is organic, not a machine. If you want an example of its power, it used a mere thousandth of its power to stop Meteor." The room went silent as the people realized exactly what he was implying. "...That's right. When the Lifestream came from the ground to destroy Meteor, it was The Beast using a fraction of its power. It wasn't fully awakened, but it attempted to carry out its deed anyway, which is why the Lifestream went on to attack certain people, creating Geostigma. The Ancients created this weapon, and that's why they were able to cure Geostigma, or rather, SHE was," The god said, motioning towards Aerith. "But she can't stop this. The Beast is no longer within control. It was bound, able to be controlled by Cetra alone prior to Meteor's fall. When the Ancients used its power to stop Meteor, it let it loose and broke any chains it had. It cannot be controlled, so once it wakes, it will not listen to anyone. This is your warning."
"......" This... was a lot to take in. The "Beast" could be seen as any monster they had defeated before, up until the magnitude of its power was told. Only a thousandth of its power was used to destroy METEOR? That said something... "...As long as we work together... We can beat it... I won't abandon the world."
"Then you'll die," Roy said, uninterested. His son putting into perspective the monster's power just assured him that he was correct. "You'll change your mind now, right, Isabel?"   (( OoC: ))

You have more then enough allies to defeat this, if you can believe in us for a change..Phoenix was the one who protected our Kingdom in the original world, she never failed. She and I can assist from the skies, and from what i've seen of your technology, those airships may be of help as well. " Where did Unisha come from? One could see her point in wanting them destroyed....

I stand with cloud, i mean if it is made of the planets life energy, then me and soko and could possibly stow it suppress it somehow we could pinpoint it's energies we might be able to give everyone enough of a chance to bear it but that would only work if it takes a material form

 Agrias Oaks Agrias irritation had reached its full from all of this bickering. Closing her eyes, the blonde knight took a deep breath and exhaled slowly -- attempting to calm herself down. She wanted to start yelling at the arguing throng here; however, that would only cause further harm. Action was called for to end this mess and provide a path to be followed, and courses of action to be determined. Agrias held up her hand, clearing her throat before speaking, "Ladies and gentlemen, if I may have your attention... please!!"The lady holy knight waited until all the people there stopped their talking and arguing before she continued, "Thank you. We have this grave crisis on our hands, and the last thing we need to do is tear ourselves apart arguing with each other! Everyone is threatened by this crisis, our friends, our families, our countrymen. The entire world will be looking to us for answers -- for guidance. Let's work the problem, people! From what I observed of Giovanni's message, we still do not know whether we can verify if this message was true. We need to either prove or disprove this message and offer from Cerberus. Even if we decide to go to the ARK, billions will die!
"Therefore, I highly recommend that we hand pick a group for an expedition to 1) find out what Cerberus actually knows and plans and 2) find and quantify the threat to the planet. Once we can fully identify this 'world destroyer', we figure out its strengths and weaknesses and stop it! Each of us has had a hand in saving the world(s) in the past, let us find the strength to do so again!
"Now while we send a chosen few to fully investigate this 'ancient weapon', I suggest other teams be formed to find alternate solutions for saving as much life as we can! As I said, let's work the problem; all of you are talented and exceptional. If we work together, we will find a way to overcome this!

As they arrived, they would hear the current situation between some inside the living room, including Agrias who was trying to calm them before questioning something she figured had to do with this new threat. And from what she could tell so far, this didn't sound very good already.
"...I'm afraid to know, what exactly is happening? " Tifa asked of anyone who knew. One of the companions Tifa brought with her was a girl of long pink hair, wearing a violet hooded jacket in the theme of a neko, or so she liked people to think.At the back was a matching in color cape, with two golden crescent like moons attached to the two ends. The surprise was, while her appearance looked very childish she was actually a young women, though her true age was still a mystery to Tifa and her two companions. The way she acted may cause anyone to believe she was a child, unfortunately. She wasn't exactly the most mature of acting. Ekoa seemed to keep her distance from everyone, hiding behind Soren and not saying a word, how long that would last before she was pushed away was the question.

Shikyo answered as she waled in behind the group of people, she hadn't been seen in a long time as well and was looking older, looking less and less like the little teenage girl she was not that long ago. "I say we should go on this ARK, I do know not everyone will be able to fit but all of our enemies will be dead." Having been one of the many test subjects she wanted any scientist that did experiments on humans dead and make them suffer like her and many other children. "We wouldn't have to worry about ShinRa or any other corrupted person and just have to rebuild. We've rebuilt before so it wouldn't be that hard." Yes, it may have been the easy way out but it was for the future of almost everyone. ((OOC smile )

Roy Lylatt "It's war. People die. Get over it."   "Jeez, just shut up already," Roy said when Agrais was finishing her speech. He wasn't exactly on board with her idea by the looks of it. "Who the hell do you think you are, anyway? Some bit*h with some fancy armor thinks she can just stand up and order people around, huh? Well here's a better idea. Shut up. Stop talking. No one cares about your opinion, and no one wants to hear it."
"That's no way to talk to a woman," Ephraim spoke up, glaring at Roy now. "Maybe you'd be more receptive of the girl's ideas if I put a spear in your gut."
"There's no point in starting battles," Zack spoke up, completely ignoring the ignorant person who called him a coward. Probably for that very reason. "But your ideas aren't ones that I can follow. I'm going aboard the ARK, and so are a good amount of the rest of us."
"Fine. Go. Who cares?"
"I think we should all care," Stark said. "Statistically speaking, if this creature has the power that Nero says it does--and I feel particularly inclined to believe the word of a god--then defeating it will not be a simple matter. If we were to have even a fraction of a chance, we would have to all go against it. Every single member of Avalanche, and even then our chances are direly slim. In the face of this, boarding the ARK isn't such a bad idea, however... .... ...." Stark didn't finish. He was still on the fence in this whole matter.
"Well there you go," Zack said. "A good chunk of us already plan to go on the thing, so you all might as well too, or else-"
"I'd rather die!" Jake said, hostile. "This ARK sh** is stupid. I'm a demon. There are four demons in this room, not to mention-"
"The Beast has a certain ability I should mention," Nero interjected, the god seeming almost bored by this whole affair at this point. "It exerts a "Pressure," and this Pressure is applied to all those in its presence. The Pressure causes all the beings around it--minus someone like myself, naturally--to be reverted into the most basic human life form. All Demonic powers and properties, all Serenitian powers and properties, will be taken while the Pressure is being exerted. Demons will no longer be almost immortal, Serenitians will no longer be able to change into their animal forms. No one will be able to use any sort of magic or transformation--Materia and Tomes may still work, however--all of you will have the limitations of normal humans, and will be fighting solely on that. This was put into the creature in case Jenova were to intercept it before it "purified" the world," glancing at Agrais now, Nero spoke once more. "As for Giovanni, I must tell you that his words are sincere. He is an underhanded man, by most people's description, but he doesn't typically lie. He uses "wrong" and "dastardly" means, but the end goal for him is always to advance the human race. The ARK is not a deathtrap, nor a rouse to kill all of Avalanche--it was created by the Ancients to allow the humans to go to the "New World" once The Beast purged the land. It only recently resurfaced because The Beast began the reawakening process. So allow all of yourselves the ease of knowing that Giovanni isn't plotting anything in terms of the ARK itself," and that would be the last bit of information Nero planned to give out for now...
"..." Zack sighed. "Look, with everyone losing any supernatural powers our chances just went from slim to none against the thing. The only logical thing to do is go on the ARK."
"...I have to agree. Factoring in our powers, the chances were slim, but without them? I see no realistic chances of survival. I vote we go on the ARK." Stark finally decided.
"Finally, people get some sense." Roy muttered.
"...No. I can't just abandon these people. I'll stop this "Beast" or die trying." Cloud said, steadfast in his decision still.
"Same here. I might not live, but that doesn't mean I'll run." Jake said.
"Well this whole thing sounds ridiculous to me. I'm not gonna turn tail and run from some threat. I'm staying." Said Ike, who wasn't well informed on the event, but already knew his answer.
"I've conquered worse, I'm sure. I don't run from anything, and trust me--I don't pick fights I can't win. I'm not losing to this thing, whatever it is." Ephraim said.
"..." The red-haired Roy sighed. "...I can't leave Lilina. She's already lost her father and I... ...I can't risk that. I'll go on this ARK thing if that's what it takes..." he said quietly, not feeling so great about his answer.
"I would rather die side-by-side with my comrades, rather than live with knowing that I left them to die alone. I'll not go on this ARK." Marth decided.
"..." Chrom glared at nothing in particular, unsure about what to decide. "...I need to think about this..." He finally said to himself.
"I've never run from battle, and I don't intend to begin now. Come what may--whether I join my love in life or my father in death after--I'll not abandon them." Jin said surely.
"Well hell, it's nice to talk big about honor and glory and sh**, but I don't see any reason in throwing my life away like that. I'd rather go on this ARK--there's nothing for me to gain by fighting and dying against this Beast thing." Desmond said, rubbing the back of his head.
"I'll not falter in the face of this or any adversary--my people need me, and I'll not abandon them. For those who I hold dear, I cannot run." Cecil said affirmatively.
"Indeed. No matter what, this I swear; I shall do my utmost to protect you all until the very end." Light agreed.
"You all talk big, but there's no reason to die here. I'm not gonna be there with you when you go." Squall said flatly. (And protecting her is more important to me than any of you, or this world, for that matter...)
"I swore I would do whatever I could to protect this world, and I shall. The ARK sounds like a more sensible option, but I could not go in good conscience. I'll stay and die protecting the world that raised me." Kaden said, his eyes lowering a bit as he thought about what death would be like...
"...We can't all agree on one..." Zack sighed under his breath. "But... you'll all die. Aren't there things more important to you than your pride? Don't you have people you love? If you die, they'll die too. I can't let that happen to Aerith, and staying here only ensures death!"
"You're probably right," Cloud replied to his best friend. "...But yours is an alternative I'm not willing to make, and I'm not the only one."
"So that's it, then? We're a house divided, so to speak..."
"It seems that way..." Cloud said, as the others began to decide what they wanted to do, now that they had all the information...  (( OOC: Now is the time to have all your characters make their decisions. It's supposed to be a Civil War, so try to have SOME diversity in your characters' choices. Not everyone believes in the same thing after all. Also sorry that I won't be as fast at replying as I'd like, but I'll do the best I can for this plot. ))

A cleansing it JUST what we need! " She could have said this in a much more kinder way, but this was Madison, she didn't care what anyone thought of her or what she said. Her reasons for feeling this way were pretty obvious had anyone even known who she was with, and what happened to him. She was already a free-spoken mind and cold with just about everyone but her family and close friends. That had only driven her over the edge of anger and revenge.."These enemies are everywhere, and you don't even see them. You never will until it's to damn late.."
Between so many talking, Tifa looked from the daughter she hadn't seen in some time, to Madison. Wonderful, she was right, this wasn't something she wanted to hear. Standing there in silence, she had to really think on what she could possibly say, every frighting feeling of the days of Meteor, or so she called it, the End Times, was begining to make it's way back to her.While she fell into silence, she listened to the others speak there own minds on the situation only to give a small glare toward Roy.How was he allowed to even be a part of Avalanche with an attitude like against his ally? Sighing, she could say nothing, though the other's were quick to speak against him.
Finally, she would get a clearer detail of the mess they were in by the young God, Nero. Only moments ago she was thinking how everyone's abilities coming together against this creature would work well, and now, that idea was shattered. The situaton only continued to become more grim and impossible...."...We've.....Dealt with situations like this before.....Meteor.We were all prepared for what was to come. We expected not to make it, didn't we? No one could have ever known what would happen in the end. The chance of surviing, the chance of it being destroyed, all this was in our eyes, impossible at the time. Just like this..I...Don't know what to expect, This may become our toughest battle yet, but if we fight together, maybe there is still a way. If we can gather the most weapon skilled, and close combat fighters, we may have a chance. I'm staying..." Tifa finally managed to say, though she was hardly happy about Zack and Shikyo's choices to go to the ARK. However, they would be safe there. She didn't even know what skills her daughter had, so maybe it wasn't such a bad idea for her to go where she would be safe with no threats to her life..
"...I can fight, and I will do my best no matter what comes.." Terra said after Tifa, she would use a sword, and was pretty fast natrually, though it may not be much against this thing, she was determined to stay and fight alongside of Cloud and any others who remained.
".........All powers..gone? ..." Well, that was just wonderful. She was only able to battle by her serenitian powers, but without them? "...I will need to find a weapon suitable for me, then.." Yeah, even then, she still wasn't backing down.
Then came another voice as Teresa suddenly spoke, from the doorway... " I've been training with a sword....If...someone were you practice with me, I want to help too..Just..help me be better with the sword and I will do everything I can! I don't want to run! " Meanwhile, only those moments ago when Roy decided to say some rather rude things to the Agrias, but before she could say anything, the other man said something against Roy she didn't like. This was turning into a situation she already didn't much like.. "....Do you want to get out of here?" She asked Roy in a soft whisper, it was only to keep a battle from breaking out!
Aerith then looked at Zack, the look she had said already, it wasn't something she knew how to say. He wouldn't like it,though if he knew her at all, which, she kind of guessed he did, he would know what she was about to say before she even said it. "I don't mind that you want to go for all of us,but Zack...You know I couldn't leave them, don't you? I am very skilled with my staff, I don't need power to fight. All I need is knowing I have other's to protect.They will need all the help they can get and I intend to do everything I can by everyone's side.I love you Zack, but I also love everyone. All our friends, our family..." She paused a moment, glancing to Jake. "...If you need further proof that I can fight well, you can ask Jake....Right? " As though he would admit to what happened so long ago. It was obvious she was trying to lighten the mood some by bringing this up, but also making a point as well.

"You just heard him, this thing has tremendous power and they're not even sure if materia will work from it's ability." She looked abandoned, both her parents were going to die from this thing and she wouldn't be able to do a thing from the ARK. The chances of them winning against this weapon were slim to none. "I know the ARK seems like the easy way out of this but it's all we have...I don't want you to die..." She really didn't want anyone from Avalanche to die either, they were all good people but she wouldn't be able to force everyone on the ARK, maybe convince a few people otherwise at most. "Please...I never had the choice to grow up normally...I at least want the help of my parents when I decide to have children myself and they won't have to go through the hell I did..." ((OOC smile )

 Asuna Yuuki      Just seconds after the other's had spoken, the faint clicks of what sounded like boots against the marbleized flooring could be heard as Asuna now walked into the living room further, from where she had earlier in ear-shot of the conversation. "I would not feel right..going to this ARK when so many of our friends and family are going to fight, knowing the risks. I will too,gladly fight at everyone's side. "
Tifa glanced from Asuna, nodding softly to the girl, judging by the reiper sheathed at her side and her armor, she already knew she would be helpful to everyone. "Thank you, Asuna.." She tried to smile, before her attention would go back to her daughter.. "...Shikyo..." She almost didn't know what to say to her. It wasn't like she wanted to go risking death, no one did, they just wanted to do what they knew was right to protect the world and save the planet. "I'm sorry... I just can't hide when such a great threat exist's. We don't plan to die...Beleive in us! I promise, we will come back.." This may be true, and it may not be. Tifa liked to keep a positive look on things, even when little hope was left.
